Hi Derek, thanks for your comment. Regarding keyrings, I get comments from people who have found the keyrings and if I'm in the area, I will always have a look to see if it is gone, and so far, they all have bar one. I walk past a keyring on my way to my favourite watering hole in Musselburgh on a weekly basis and it is still there. 👍
I can only hope these fine old buildings are to be used, kept in public ownership and not hit by the wrecking ball, like too many of Scotland's historic buildings. Thanks for the video.
My Father passed away in February 1997 at Herdmanflat Hospital. The doctor’s houses have been abandoned for many years. A disgraceful waste of what were perfectly good houses.
Agreed, but when you look at the East Fortune hospital which has been badly vandalised, at least they have kept what is left secure. Thanks for your comment. 👍

I wholeheartedly agree. Too much historical character being demolished by the greed of developers who don't appreciate quality building.
They have demolished the majority of 60's and 70's buildings on the site, what is left is listed, so no chance of these being demolished. 👍
