- This week’s Droneman Scotland's video is looking at the history of the Abandoned East Fortune Hospital and military base.. The hospitals history dates back to WW1 then military buildings were utilised to treat tuberculosis patients.

Brilliant work Droneman and Dronegirl. My dad was in East Fortune for 2 years with tuberculosis of the spine. My father-in-law was in there as well, he had tuberculosis in the lungs he caught it in Thailand during the war. He was a prisoner of the Japanese. He was one of many who was forced to work on the Thai, Burma railway, bridge over the river kwai. Hey it was great meeting you and Dronegirl when I was in Scotland and thanks for the keyrings I no longer have to tell my friends to go hunting for them any more. Keep up the great work.
