I used this song for a game I made one scratch when I was in 8th grade. I'm a senior in high school now, just revisited the game, and the music still goes hard. Bravo to the creator of this 🤝
I just got really fucking stoned and I've heard this song so many times before and to me its always been a masterpiece. This time felt so unique and right before i start typing and searching it up im welling up with such deep emotions, i started welling up in tears, its perfection obtained. As it plays you realize this cannot be surpassed, it shouldn't be forgotten in time, it truly is a specimen all its own, of incredible heights does it achieve, and its pure awe moves my soul.
By the way, the title of the music is Zizibum by Łukasz Sychowicz, whose username is 1ucasvb, made with Atari SAP. The link is broken too, here's the original: th-cam.com/video/iYS66ZWrxWg/w-d-xo.html God bless. ^^
Technically, these sounds are just going to be simpler sound waves like sine waves. So making it not HD just kind of detracts from the point, because opting for a lower quality bitrate would sort of "smooth out the edges" and you don't get the true crispness that you would from playing it purely. Unless you mean you want to listen to it like it's truly from a Gameboy and simulate a lo-fi speaker
i remember finding this the same week i found beepbox. i was twelve lol idc much abt the song itself like i did back then but man january 2016 was so fun
I always envision this song as the background music to a weird parody of the Kraid boss fight from Metroid. 0:00 Samus enters, Kraid towering over her. Monologue ensues. 0:38 Samus replies; tension escalates. 0:59 And... FIGHT! Screen 1 1:20 Screen 2 2:02 Screen 3 2:38 Screen 4 3:20 Having come this far, Samus reflects on her efforts thus far and steels herself for the final challenge: Kraid's head 4:43 To Samus' surprise, Kraid's head slowly opens up, revealing that he was actually a giant mech piloted by an alien 5:06 The alien will only accept defeat in the form of a dance off! DDR-style arrows appear on the screen as the music shifts to something a little funkier... 5:13 And... DANCE FIGHT! Aliens appear along the sides of the screen to cheer on both dancers 6:19 The song is over. Scores are tallied for both sides. 6:27 Samus loses. Game Over.
I just checked the ocilliscope, this song is actually imitation 8 bit. The wave forms were a bit shakey at the top, something an 8 bit machine can't do. It could just be an audio error made by copying over the old file, but maybe not. Btw, this would be much better as a Commodore SID song. Commodore > Atari
@@quadpad_music The composer's website. Seems to gone down, but it appears have to been backed up on the wayback machine grayscale.scene.pl/msx_archive.php?lang=en
I had an Atari 800xl and then a C64 - I always regretted selling the Atari to get the Commodore. The Atari was so polished compared to the buggy C64...
Yes, we like accurate representations of audio that aren't heavily compressed. Also yes, while the video quality shouldn't affect the audio quality, youtube will also compress and degrade the audio further along with the video.

Ah, haven't heard this one in forever. Ah, sweet, sweet revisiting!

And I tagged myself. I'm going to sleep mode.

lol 8-bit "Now in HD"

Music CAN be HD you know. And it refers to the original upload being poorer quality.
he meant the vid was in hd silly
the 2008 one was gone
forreal childhood memories of listening to this song

No. 1ucasvb is not Lukasz Sychowicz (X-Ray),
He was just uploading oscilloscope visuals of it.
If this was a Nintendo game, this is what a Hard Ass Level would sound like, LOLL
The final boss...
heard it in 2013, coming to listen in 2023. Still awesome.
I just found it and it's the most amazing 8 bit song ever
Saaaame
Always an awesome track. I always wished there was a game to go with it!
Was expecting this video to be a crappy GXSCC tune. I'm glad it isn't. :D
The most awesome will always be Stickerbush symphony, david wise is a legend. Although i cant remember if it is 8 bit, i think not.
Totally agree with you. Best videogame soundtrack ever. It's 16-bit.
yooo 100%, that track as well as bayou boogie :)
That track is mediocre. It would have gained when switching to either higher resolution, or making it 8 bit. 16 bit tracks generally suck
This feels older than 2013 to me
bcz it is
music been made in 2010
Almost crying for this awesome 8bit
This song actually needs a live band remake, it's just too awesome
used this as a boss battle theme in D&D and Pathfinder so many times. absolutly love it
Dude, i was looking for this song like crazy, thanks for rescuing it.
I was sleeping my kids to this music 12 years ago, still love it :)

Ah yes i remember this song from back then

I always told myself this is what the theme song for TurboTime would sound like (from wreck it Ralph)
I've heard this in Speed Run 4 on Level 10.

I mean, that does sound something like an old Namco sound chip could do, and most of those games *are* still 8-bit
