Yeah but it was super effective when it came to sneaking up on guards and The End, creeping slowly with the analog stick tips almost always tips them off unless you wear the Spirit Camo which masks footsteps
@@bedcreep I think it's to be expected, RE4 Remake and RE2 Remake definitely felt easier than their OG counterparts but they're still challenging and not trivial. We'll see with MGS Delta.
@@rdowg See, that's the challenge. Maybe increase their hearing and come vision. Maybe even change their routes and spawn spots but I doubt they will do.
@@rdowg I mean you do what MGS5 did and playtest to tune it right. Make the guards more aware, maybe when they get suspicious make them approach the area they saw you at faster because you can crouch walk and get away. That’s what game designers are for, figuring this stuff out.
Not gonna lie, I've hated all recent remakes and rereleases, but this one seems like it might be worth it. I'm positively surprised how close they've decided to stick to the original game. I assume we are gonna be able to play with Japanese voices, which will finally let me play MGS3 with Akio Otsuka as Snake, which I find to be vastly superior to David Hayter's performance (no hate to people that like it).
When they released the Master Collection vol 1 I really hoped they'd let us play the games with JP voice and ENG subtitles, I even talked with lots of modders too but it's still undoable or requires too much effort for the modders as copy pasting the eng subtitles from the english version wouldn't be a true translation of the JP dialogue. Let's hope they'll hear us in the Remake.
@user-ms7yk2hb8b Im absolutely pissed. So it's not 1 for 1. Like they claim. The mechanics will be different also bc snake is modernized control. He can crouch walk. This game is gna be like taking candy from a baby. The only way I buy this game is if they fix Rose and Boss. They need to make them look more attractive.
you can't say "nake out" if you're already promoted to Big Boss. Poser. that's like being a General in the army and saying Sir yes Sir to a fkn leiutenant. Big Boss has alziehmers. we're done. he's gnoe to zanzibarland. and if he's not playing MG1 and MG2:Solid Snake, i'll be dissapointed.
youtube.com/@BBIGB0SS So, this is basically konami’s attempt to overthrow Kojima production by announcing a remake of a hit game from the time kojima was still in the studio, and releasing a trailer months after death stranding 2’s announcement, but also will be released to the public sooner than death stranding 2. I’m simply saying, despite this being a really great initiative, this beef Konami has with Kojima is just becoming more and more obvious. It wouldn’t surprise me if the selling counts will surpass both death stranding 1 and 2’s with this remake, and also with their project of remaking the other previous titles. Plus, I wonder how they’ll manage with the starting cinematic of snake eater, if they’ll remake it and erasing all the subliminal Kojima signs flowing across the screen, or they will just not add it to the game, because they do all of this out of spite and greed against Kojima.
Can't wait to see the Raikov Volgin scene 🤞
ball grabbing in 4k UHD? count me in
I hated how the d-pad was reserved for just slowly walking

@@spiderboymatt not that, I mean like wasted why not just push the analog a little to do it the make the d-pad do other things like in delta now
@@HokutoShinkenSuccessor ohhh my bad, well yeah Im not gonna lie I always wondered that too lol
The same reason the knife interrogation was relegated to contextual button prompts.
I hope the game is balanced around the new control too, we've seen this with the MGS 1 remake how the MGS 2 control trivialized the game.
I saw one review that played the demo say that the game feels easier than the original. The enemies are probably not rebalanced.

1: "i like MGS4" was in MGS3D on the 3DS, alongside "I like MGS PW"
2: on the topic of 3D, will there be crouch walking?
Crouch Walking is in.
@@BBIGB0SS NICE!
Wow those changes are a god send. I’m excited
If they want game of the year, the best not change the saucy stuff. You don’t want another Concord moment. The people have spoken.
I don't think you fully understand this game, mate.
I don't like that they removed the slow sneak walk. It felt like a far more realistic approach to enemies, and it also allowed you to detect traps.
you can probably still do it using the analog
The only thing I’m concerned about right now is the jokes, ik they don’t matter to the story but man they made the game better

According to some reports from people who were at the event, they still kept his name throughout the opening credits.
There should be a watermark in-game called "A Hideo Kojima game"
Maybe someone might mod that in.
