Downside to it is if you want more ammo, you gotta get TONS of materials, and TONS of unit levels, making almost only S++ in all sectors. I had an expensive one that has 2 in the clip, plus 14 spare shots, if you want unlimited, go with the 6 spare shots and equip the unlimited bandana. Great video, but I think it would be more interesting if you played on a fresh save file, so you have to Fulton personnel and materials, and have to work with what you have until you can unlock Naked Snake’s equipment.
Huh, never noticed that, guess it isn’t too big a deal but I’d like to know what’s up there. Maybe it’s like how, while I was building the Patriot, I couldn’t use the 5.56 drum mag because of certain attachments I had to remove
For the code talker mission an easier way to defeat the sniper skulls with throwing smoke grenades in front of you as you use NVGs and a super powerful sniper rifle.
First time I played this game I thought the water pistol was a gimmick weapon. Turned out it was the ultimate weapon against Volgin.........next run, water pistol only
In metallic archaea you can make the skulls lose sight of you then you can run to the main building where are there are AA guns and kill them in seconds
Another tip in case you can use the water pistol in a future run, you can use it to stun lock skulls during the helicopter crash mission and give Quiet a chance to just dome all of them for you if you somehow run out of ammo
Heck yeah brother, I’ve got an Ocelot run, MGS1 rules run, Total Stealth run, On Site Procurement only run, Old Snake run, Peace Walker run, and tons of other runs coming after GZ Big Boss and Gray Fox!
While the choosen weapons fit perfectly, i think a better fit for playing "naked snake" would be to just use the wu pistol, while every other weapon must be obtained on the battlefield. Once picked up in the World it can of course be equipped before Missions
Gray Fox is slated as the next run after GZ Big Boss (it was originally going to be second instead of Raiden, but Frank ranked last in the voting poll)
For the EZ gun or maybe as an alternative to sleep grenades for the Cigar Gas Spray I can see you maybe using the AM114RP Gas pistol (with bandana for EZ gun). It has only 2 rounds per mag so it could fill the role of the EZ gun close enough, but also the Gas Spray because of how it works
I didn’t even know that gun existed, that’s actually perfect! If I ever have to do a similar run in the future or maybe even a run with the EZ gun, now I know
I know it's been 3 months and it's a tiny nitpick, but the SVG 67 is the AK 47 in MGSV. The SVG 76 is the AK 74 which was chambered in 5.56 to make it easier to handle and lighter ammo meant you could carry more of it. Still a good video though 👍
Love this game to this day. I just wish there were more subsitence missions or the ability to turn all missions into those. And I hate that damn horn after a while. Too bad Konami didn't feel the need to update or build on this game. Survive is alllright... for what it is but it's not MGSV.
Or a completed 3rd act to start. One could hope that MC v2 may have some changes but based on how the MC v1 went, which I have no issues with, personally, having played these since 98 and haven't missed one. I doubt they would add the 3rd act and any dlcs they had in the pipeline
i really thought that snake was naked y'know, a mod or similar. oh damn, there's somethin like that wit Quiet on pc, lol. but i loved your video anyways
Video games don't reward sometimes the other true stealth gameplay. When the enemy is dead so they can't alert the others by your hand. Warframe for example does reward it, if you lucky and the enemy doesn't decide to notice the fallen comrade through a wall and immediatly alert the whole base (guess how I know that) Here I meant unsupressed weapon fire, I wanted to clarify that
I considered it, and since you said that, I probably will. Not sure if I’ll do the post game or not for that one, but ideally I’ll do GZ, main V, and post V, so hopefully I can get that all in a reasonable amount of time!
There’s a setting to turn off reflex mode in game. And just don’t do disruption missions so enemy’s have all the tech that counters ur play style. Not sure about eye sight stuff tho
I mentioned it briefly in the first video: I typically don’t count tools for these runs, or else I wouldn’t be able to use the iDroid either and thus the challenge would be completely impossible, so tools like the iDroid and Fulton are fine
2:15 Doesn't REALLY matter for the build but im such a nerd so I'm saying it anyway... AK47 is 7.62 milimeters, AK74 is 5.45 milimeters, SVG *67* is 7.62 milimeters, SVG 76 is 5.56 milimeters, so you used a lower caliber

TWO TIPS?! I think you dropped this 👑
Finally I’ve been waiting for months
Yeah, like half a year lmao, I’ll be sure to get the next one out quicker!
I’m sure you can actually get the patriot gun in phantom pain though
Another tip in case you can use the water pistol in a future run, you can use it to stun lock skulls during the helicopter crash mission and give Quiet a chance to just dome all of them for you if you somehow run out of ammo
@@PliskinYT could be very useful for a Quiet only run!
You should do a legit naked snake run, like only use weapons that you find using your tranq, so just drop your main weapons and use the ones you find.
I plan to do European Extreme, Subsistence, Total Stealth, OSP, and more eventually
Nice video i just can't wait for peace walker man
Heck yeah brother, I’ve got an Ocelot run, MGS1 rules run, Total Stealth run, On Site Procurement only run, Old Snake run, Peace Walker run, and tons of other runs coming after GZ Big Boss and Gray Fox!
Great playthrough loved every second of it.
I loved the run but trying to replicate the 'cigar gas spray' with 'sleep grenades' is like trying to replicate a coughing baby with a hydrogen bomb.
His mask kinda looked like raiden there 👀👀
I guess it was time for Jack… to LET’ER RIP👹
Do a liquid snake run by using quiet with the sniperwolf outfit
Hey, that’s a fun way to do a Liquid run, I’ll add that to my list of requested runs!
While the choosen weapons fit perfectly, i think a better fit for playing "naked snake" would be to just use the wu pistol, while every other weapon must be obtained on the battlefield. Once picked up in the World it can of course be equipped before Missions
I plan to do an OSP run at some point in the future, only using weapons procured on site for the entire game
Nine years, I've waiting for nine years... Or maybe not so much
Out could do a Gray Fox run. You can use the knife, invisible como, CQC and the Gray fox oufit
Gray Fox is slated as the next run after GZ Big Boss (it was originally going to be second instead of Raiden, but Frank ranked last in the voting poll)
You could unlock the Soviet stealth suit from mgs3 from Ground Zeroes
Kept you waiting huh..I Love your challenges bro Keep it up solder
Absolutely man, every time I see your absolutely cursed pfp, I know I’m speaking to a person with true integrity lmao
@@redfoxrpg ah a truly intelligent post exquisite
I've done all these challenges you've been doing a long time ago. Like what your doing. Could you do a James bond run with the tuxedo??
Depends which MGSV, you played Phantom pain so yeah you played as naked snake but in Ground zeroes you already are playing as naked snake.
True, though the equipment used is a little more advanced in Ground Zeroes than it was when we got to play as Naked Snake originally
The Days of 'Naked' Snake are long gone.
Welcome back, Venom Snake.
In terms of functionality I suppose the 5 star W.U. Silent pistol would be the EZ gun
Yeah, that seems to be the common consensus, appreciate you guys letting me know just in case for future runs
You should've used the tuxedo cuz it mentions Naked Snake in the description and its also in MGS3
Yeah, thought about that after the fact, maybe I can do a challenge with it in the future or maybe I’ll wear it when doing an unrelated challenge
@@redfoxrpg "Drip challenge" lol
In the sniper fight if you drop a care package on her head she dies instantly
Yeah, I’ve always wanted to do that but haven’t done a run where that felt right, maybe some day!
Thanks! I dunno much about guns, just taking the IMFDB’s word on most of this stuff, but thanks for letting me know!
"NO!!! THAT IS NOT NAKED SNAKE!!!"
@@thezman9001 STOP IMPERSONATING HIM!
will time to wait for to play as old snake now
Maybe not soon, but it’s coming!
Never played a mgs game was expecting naked snake not naked snake for some reason
I mean, they’re basically the same person anyways, so you were actually kinda right lol
@@redfoxrpg so naked snake just runs around naked? Neat
Love this game to this day. I just wish there were more subsitence missions or the ability to turn all missions into those. And I hate that damn horn after a while. Too bad Konami didn't feel the need to update or build on this game. Survive is alllright... for what it is but it's not MGSV.
Yeah it blows, can’t help but think that, without all the Kojima/Konami drama, this game might’ve gotten some amazing updates/DLC
Or a completed 3rd act to start. One could hope that MC v2 may have some changes but based on how the MC v1 went, which I have no issues with, personally, having played these since 98 and haven't missed one. I doubt they would add the 3rd act and any dlcs they had in the pipeline
I forgot about his destiny.. in the box
“You should come inside the box…”
Handkerchief being CQC KO would be redundant as there are CQC KO’s in MGS3
i enjoyed 100 % this game twice, great game, lotsa hours well spent
I dunno if I could ever 100% a game, that takes some serious dedication!
I feel like the teleport fulton kinda... Kills the vibe
It may very well do so
1:42 Americans listing the guns they own
“It’s all just for self defense and hunting, I swear” lmao
@@redfoxrpg Right, "self defense" 😂
i really thought that snake was naked y'know, a mod or similar. oh damn, there's somethin like that wit Quiet on pc, lol. but i loved your video anyways
Thanks for the support!
Finally, an actual CONTENT 👍
Thanks… I think?
i forgot Reflex mode was a thing! I always shut it off.
I’ll be doing my first ever run with it off in a challenge coming later rather than sooner, but I’m excited to see how that changes things up
Video games don't reward sometimes the other true stealth gameplay. When the enemy is dead so they can't alert the others by your hand. Warframe for example does reward it, if you lucky and the enemy doesn't decide to notice the fallen comrade through a wall and immediatly alert the whole base (guess how I know that)
Here I meant unsupressed weapon fire, I wanted to clarify that
@@LastGoatKnight I’m not sure I understand you
@@redfoxrpg which part? The first or second part of my rambling
Pretty good video bro
Thanks homie
For the GZ run you should actually play GZ
I considered it, and since you said that, I probably will. Not sure if I’ll do the post game or not for that one, but ideally I’ll do GZ, main V, and post V, so hopefully I can get that all in a reasonable amount of time!
There’s a setting to turn off reflex mode in game. And just don’t do disruption missions so enemy’s have all the tech that counters ur play style. Not sure about eye sight stuff tho
@@MaynardOwns thank you for letting me know
The EZ gun is just the hogh level WU Pistol since they use the ssme technology
Yeah, mechanically speaking they’re the same, was kinda hoping I could find a Liberator style pistol as well tho
You never mentioned the aspect of using Fulton/wormholes within the challenge and noticed you used it on several vehicles at least
I mentioned it briefly in the first video: I typically don’t count tools for these runs, or else I wouldn’t be able to use the iDroid either and thus the challenge would be completely impossible, so tools like the iDroid and Fulton are fine
@@redfoxrpg oh I guess I missed that part or it went over my head. Thanks for clarifying
Bro said "I'm Big Boss and you are too" and became Naked Snake
Kept you waiting huh?
And I certainly did, but this was… pretty good!
I guess with his upload schedule he"kept us waiting huh?"
Wait a minute I know the no buddies rule but near the end of the game you have to escort Eva shouldn't that count as a partner?
I considered it, but ultimately I decided against it for a bigger challenge
Rattling off you list of usable equipment and their in game names per MGS:3/5 was long enough to probably earn the “hideo kojima” award
2:15 Doesn't REALLY matter for the build but im such a nerd so I'm saying it anyway...
AK47 is 7.62 milimeters, AK74 is 5.45 milimeters,
SVG *67* is 7.62 milimeters, SVG 76 is 5.56 milimeters, so you used a lower caliber
@@sirsnek6562 eh, it is what it is I guess🤷♂️
Next video Idea: Can you beat MGSV Ground Zeroes as Naked Snake... Oh wait...
I mean basically lol
