I always make sure to spare survivors if most of their team DCs on them. I had 2 people DC on me yesterday when I was playing Artist purely because I outplayed them.
I made a video about this four months ago. I played no build Myers and played "nice guy" style, and the first person that I downed tried to give up on hook, and when they got rescued they afked and came to my chat to rage. It was incredible.
I have had enough disconnects for NO. REASON. as a Ghostface main that it genuinely upsets me. It's not my fault his reveal system is fucked. I am a C tier Killer. Low B on a good day. I AM NOT THAT AHRD TO BEAT, USE YOUR EYES. LOOP ME. For the love of GOD stop disconnecting on the first. Fucking. Down. Just because I got a good 99 that was HARD for me.
I am new low mmr and id say 60% of my games a survivor gives up immeidatley. First hook or first down. Its insane never seen people quit this often in a game ever.
In my opinion, they should make it so that if a player purposely gives up on hook, it should De-Pip them. This whole thing started when they removed "De-Pipping".
I stopped playing DbD regularly a few months ago because it just became too unejoyable for me. There are plenty of killers i enjoy playing against, but there are many i hate (e.g., Knight, Clown, Trickster, etc). It does not matter if those killers have counterplay or if I escape the match - I never have fun playing with those killers. And those unfun matches got more and more frequent, so i stopped playing. Taking a step back from the game really made me realize how many issues i had with it, and how i was just angry queueing for the next match. Even the mildest inconvenience can feel like the end of the world when you angry queue. If i get two Knight matches in a row and then a "hump you on the ground" killer, the 4th killer can be as nice as can be and play perfectly fair - but if I hear Legion music start playing, I need to fight the urge to DC. It has nothing to do with my opponent or my team, but rather my own headspace based on prior matches. I think too many people have an addicted mindset with DbD - they play DbD every day, they watch DbD content when they arent playing it, etc. And even if they stopped having fun with the game, they just can't stop playing or take a break from it. They keep rage queueing into more matches. And that makes all these problems so much worse than they would be otherwise. Also, i dont think the go-next problem will ever be solvable so long as survivors have zero autonomy over their gameplay experience. I have no idea when i queue into a match if im getting paired against an Unknown (yay!) or a Trickster (boo!), so I have zero ability to avoid matches that i know would induce that tilted headspace.
Sorry for the essay. Sometimes in certain situations, I feel like it's okay to give up. Played against a ghostface earlier. Teammate attempts to 2nd stage at 5 gens. Another teammate killed himself on his second hook. Btw, this ghostface had 7 hooks at 5 gens with me and one other survivor left. The game was practically over. At that point, I threw in the towel and just stood still so I could go next. He downs me and starts tbagging. Yup, two of my teammates give up and I'm the one that gets bm'd. I don't know why but I can only assume it was because I quit. That game ruined my vibe and I just got off for the rest of the day. This game really needs a concede button where all survivors who are alive can vote to surrender and the entity just kills you like in the end game collapse. I'm so tired of matches being a 2v1 at the very start because in most cases from a survivor standpoint, what are you supposed to do but drag the match out? This is why I started playing killer a little more.
@austinwilson8352 My fault, I should've clarified. He didn't bleed me out. He just tbagged me, carried me to a hook, dropped me, tbagged me again, then hooked me. It sucks because you're already having a bad time then the other side ALWAYS has to put salt in the wound.
I literally don't find enjoyment in killer matches anymore because of this issue. I swear every 2/3 matches has at least one giveup. Then it usually starts a domino effect of the other survivors wanting to leave cause yeah i dont blame them. Match is practically over atp. It just sucks how it feels so impossible to find just ONE match where NO ONE throws a fit and gives up
Isnt that a good thing though? Easy games so you can win and go up in mmr and they go down in mmr which will eventually filter out people who give up from those who stick to it
I agree with having the attenpts to be at end of 1st stage to try and unhook, but if they have a perk that allows them to unhook themselves like deliverance, wicked, and slippery meat should be able to unhook at start
so much bullshit about "rules" and "consideration" and "other people's fun", it's so gross and phony. killers KILL. that's what they're supposed to do. anyone who's doing otherwise is being a damn fool. sure i give hatch sometimes IF that survivor gave me a fun, tough match, otherwise they all die and i'm happy. survivors survive. they play hard, and i like when they play hard, because kicking the shit outta terrible megs and dwights is boring as hell. give me the tough swfs. i swear this game has the most entitled, whiny crybabies i've ever seen in one place. obviously not ONE of these people ever played organized sports in their youth. if they had, they'd probably expect the other team to "tone down the fastballs" so their team could get more hits, good lord 🙄 hey, it's their game, they pay for it, they should play how they want. but having expectations about what any player is "supposed" to do in terms of behavior or "consideration" is just laughable, i literally scoff aloud whenever i hear some delusional dipshit talk about "survivor rulebook".
Funny thing is, most of my randoms haven't been giving up on hook. We have just been dying because we all last 10 seconds in chase and so we die at 5 or 4 gens. At least we get to play though, unlike people who give up.
I think the best fix is to implement a REAL block system where people you add to your block list no longer end up in your lobby. When people are stuck waiting 15 minutes to queue up cuz they have been blocked by literally everyone it will not only put an end to this behavior but also remove toxic players. Also at that point you can remove the DC penalty for properly leaving a match.
Knowing the DBD community people will just block anyone who beats them or does something that they perceived as being rude (which for DBD can be anything from t-bagging, to tunneling, to just like- using a flashlight.) This would kill queue times and specifically appeal to babies that refuse to figure out how to play the game and just rage anytime something they dislike happens. It would also make it way harder for the best players (your Lilith omens and otz's) to actually get into matches
@@MrBlueWaooWaoo It would kill _their_ queue times and they will eventually relent and start unblocking. Most people who queue up with big time creators are tickled to go against them so I doubt they will have too much trouble. Its only the really salty weirdos that would suffer from a block system. But the main reason it will not happen is most of these toxic players spend A LOT of money on DBD. If they can't get in a game they will quit playing altogether and that is not good for BHVR's bottom line.
Absolutely, it's always so stupid when people give up, as survivor it's frustrating as fuck cause you just lost the game immediately. There have been numerous marches where we were actively winning, at 1 gen left, 2 hooks, but the guy on hook cause we didn't unhook them immediately and wanted to reset first killed themselves on hook. I had kindret, we all knew the killer wasn't near and simply just took advantage of the fact that we all 3 injured survivors against a nurse could reset before saving but they decided to mot wait half a minute to get unhooked and instead killed themselves. And when I play killer it's also annoying, especially if early on in the match. As you said, I went into rhe match because I want to play the game. A 3v1 at 5 gens isn't playing the game, it's just survivors giving up, not doing gens and playing for hatch instead and even if they do gens there is literally nothing they could do to win, which just takes out the fun of it, I wanted to play a real game, not a non game that had it's outcome decided from the start. Nobody likes those people, but it's VERY common in high ranks. Especially people that come with builds reminiscent of bully squad builds, they usually dc or give up right away as soon as they hear it's a nurse, aka not a killer they can bully and suddenly it's 2v1 or 1v1. Tho it's certainly not just failed bully squad attempts, it's also just the case in general. People just quit right away if it's one of the killers they don't like. It's very annoying for everyone involved.
My favorite is when people see I got an actual 99 down as Ghostface early on (That is not easy to do with how jank his reveal is and how his lean has been broken for months), and they insta give up. First 99 down. They give up. Because there wasn't a chase and they got caught off guard once. Like... you realize you can look around right? I'm sorry I'm good at a mid tier Killer. I am perfectly loopable. LOOP ME, don't give up, just. LOOP ME. Use your perks and LOOP ME. My weakness is LOOPING.
had a match against a slinger where it was obvious we were gonna win. he had 3 separate first hooks and we was at 2 gens already. BUT......as soon as the 4th gets HIS first hook. he IMMEDIATLEY yeeted on hook and offed himself. and that SINGLE action he did snowballed the match towards the killer's favor and resulted in a 4k. going next when it makes sense doesnt really bother me as much as for most people. but survivors who go next when THEY ARE LITERALLY WINNING. Will forever both confuse me and anger me
The people that give up on hook against killer then get their team killed by doing so are artificially boost killers by doing this, maybe if we pointed this out people would stop doing it? Also I have d/ced against doctor beceause his maddness mechanic over stimulates me so badly that I need to stop for a minute after a match to recover. with that I leave a bot the I don't just go next on hook don't make a 3v1 because you can't stand the killer.
@ well like u said there’s practically no winning. u can still win but the last 3 players need to be good. But what mainly bothers me is when survivors give up cuz they don’t like the killer/map or something doesn’t go there way or the match is tough
The fact that giving up on hook isn’t bannable is ridiculous, it literally ruins the game for every other person in the match, killer included. You can report someone for intentionally throwing, but somehow giving up on hook doesn’t fall under that??? Make it make sense behavior
Yes, it does, and slugging with knockout is no better. Laying there, bleeding out is miserable, and it makes me upset. I hate when survivors go next because if it’s early on, it screws us over. But I’ve done it when I get tunneled off the hook, and I can’t do anything in the match. Sure, it’s a strategy, but it’s a lame, no skill, boring one, as is slugging.
I am with you on this one. You start giving up on hook and either stand there or come to me for an easy out, I slug you. I am going to get the full benefit from this match whether you like it or not. Most survivor brains hate 90% of the game so I wonder why they even still play it.
Here's what you do. Step 1: Put struggle meter on the second hook state Step 2: Slug the quitter for the full 3:55 seconds. Step 3:Right before they bleed out, hook them Step 4: ?????? Step 5: Profit!
For me it's not the tunneling scenario, I don't mind being tunneled, it mostly the killer roster not being fun to play against, the more oppressive killers in chase, are just not fun to play against even though they are not actually broken in the 4v1. The killer roster sucks and needs changes
i mean....you're just bad at survivor. you haven't studied the maps, you don't know which loops are safe or unsafe on each map, you don't know each killer's counterplay, you don't know the right and wrong ways of running shack and TL walls and jungle gyms.... you probably run around pre-dropping pallets against every killer, and you wonder why you get killed in 30 seconds and you find killers "oppressive", it's just a skill issue on your part 😂 every killer has a counter. you just don't practice enough to get good. now, this is where you reply by saying "look jerk, i have 40k hours in this game and the problem is NOT ME!!" but i bet if i asked you the proper procedure for running house of pain or the TL walls on coldwind, you wouldn't have a damn clue how to reply. 40k hours, yup....totally. practice more, cry less.
@roflmows uh brother I've been here since day one of dbd. I've seen the meta change overtime, My favorite killer to go against is hillbilly, back in the day most killers were actually fun to go against but now they have created some of the most annoying killers in chase, that don't really require much thought anymore.
7:45 They are not the same thing. You doing what your supposed to and that is eliminating the other side is not the same as purposefully losing. Survivors don't get a dc penalty when they stand still (to my knowledge as of 1/5/25), but the killers get a dc penalty if they don't move. 9:17 No you're asking them to disclose super personal and very top secret information. Their response would be or a kin to "We can't discuss what we are going to do, but rest assured we have plans." whether those plans involve a solution or just a patch to nerf the pig.... the world will never know. 10:14 Skill based match making though... 11:36 You're not a dev and not the person giving up don't see how you're involved with the "epidemic" of burnout that is happening. What could the devs even do about the will power of others to play the game?
Today I had a Myers doing exactly what you said your way of dealing with people that give up is. And I want to say something about this, before it becomes a problem on top of a problem. (Not saying you, Bran, do this, just hope some might read this and think before they act.) So, what happened: I played against a Myers and the first time I went down, I was prevented from wiggling. He swung a few times right before a hook, which looked like him signaling me to wiggle, and him thinking I give up. After being picked up by my teammates, I continued playing the match normally as soon as I could. The Myers saw me doing gens and overall helping the team. He even hooked me and I patiently waited to be unhooked. Yet, he doubled down. Tunneled me, ignored everyone else, even watched them do gens. He went out of his way to kill me and then let the others leave. All that made it very obvious he wanted to "punish" me for giving up, which I didn't and he saw it multiple times. So, PLEASE THINK BEFORE YOU ACT. Maybe don't assume someone is giving up just because they don't wiggle. Or at least, if you see them play normally after, don't double down and "punish" them for something they didn't do, nor intend. I fear with the "I punish the people giving up" mentality that is slowly forming in some people's minds, some will go overboard with it, like this Myers and actually become just as much of a game ruining moron like those who actually give up themselves. In general, as a Killer, DON'T assume things when you clearly, in most cases don't know the full picture. Chances are, you just ruin someone's game with that behavior and aren't any better than the Go-Nexters. If you read all this, thanks, and I hope some people might think before they act and this isn't becoming the norm, but rather the Myers stays a singular outlier.
"Going next" makes solo Q unplayable at times. It's can handle losing a game simply because information is lacking or whatever, but it is genuinely miserable to feel like it's a 50/50 coin flip on whether or not someone gives up immediately. The amount of games where it's a 3v1 for the overwhelming majority of the match because someone gave up and said games likely would've resulted in at least 2 people getting out had they stayed and did the bare minimum is absurd. The only thing more frustrating are rat players.
Oh my god... this right there is one of the things why I don't play this game so much (I mostly play survivor with my friend). People would just immediately give up couse of the smallest of inconveniences. It's just straight up unplayable sometimes. You join the match with an understanding that you're f*cked up regardless of your actions. This is just sad and at that point kinda miserable...
Its becasue they are making gameplay design choices that remove survivor agency. The survivor role already lacks lot of agency, so people are prone to feeling hopeless, but when you give killerperks like pain res, dead lock, or have gameplay design that encourages killers to tunnel or camp if they start to lose, and once they are able to successfully do so to only 1 person, the game is practically over, even if the survivors are already close to winning (within a gen to exit gates), why the hell would you wait around? There is practically no ability for survivors to come back from a losing game, this is dumb when the killer role is supposed to be the skill based role, yet the killer role is the one that given many, many, many second chances to win. Its 1v4. On killer you take on more stress in return for winning more, and on survivor you do the opposite. That has been cranked up to a max now, killer has become less stressful, because one good pop, or one good snowball is alwasy there to win you even the worst of games. On top of that a lot of the survivor options to punish killers for misplaying, are jsut not in the game anymore, or theyre jsut irrelevant anyways. If the killer doesnt want to chase you he doesnt have to. He can jsut choose to go for the weak link, and once theyre dead, the game is over. Id say maybe speed up gen progress when a survivor is out of the game, to encourage less tunneling or proxying. Or maybe even automatically complete a gen if a survivr dies above 4 gens left. As well as they are heavily leaning into killers with powers that remove survivor agency in chase. Houndmaster is a great example. When you are in soloq and are matched with random people, you have basically no chance of winning if one guy is out of the game, the first sign of weakness you jsut give up immediately. It makes sense. This is not a community issue, this is a game design issue. Basically in soloQ, even if YOU are good, if the killer knows to not chase you, you lose either way. If the killer is not completely trash or throws the game focusing on the good looper, you jsut lose. Why would people not sjut go next in that enviornment? Why would they not be jaded? Yes, I only talked on killers, because no one cares when killers go next. The game jsut ends.
Bran, what are your takes on the last Otzdarva Xenomorph video? Also, I’d like to ask you for advice against the hideous tunnel spawns currently with the chests and snowball piles taking priority over the tunnels. Great video as always!
Honestly, it's just something to deal with. Get as close as you can to where you want to go and exit early. I haven't had the chance to watch Otz's video and will later today
I play Killer because playing survivor ends in so much frustration and anger that I will end up with a half-hour DC penalty if I don't stop playing the game after my second really really bad match. So I'm a proponent of just removing the DC penalty now that we have bots.
From BHVR, I want one thing. Let others end game prematurely, if the person who gave up/DC is not theirs SWF. I really want a option especially as a killer to just go next when game becomes 3vs1 immediatly. Bleeding out someone for 4 min is a option, but It' annoying even for me especially, if they get picked over and over again. From community. It's okay to take a break and go play something else. I don't get what people have in theirs heads to launch the game only to spend most of theirs time in lobby/going next immediatly. People meme a lot about "go play CIV or something", but they really should.
So i had a match tonight that pissed me off to the point of giving up then once match was over closing the game. I went in as a duo with my friend and 2 randoms vs pyramid head, a killer i LOVE facing and there was nothing toxic or bad this guy did. My rage was directed at my own team. My friend was running this pyramid head and we are on our 4th gen (3 of which i did and had 1 chase with killer) with 3 hooks total. This was a 4 person gen at 90% completion. Killer leaves my friend realizing he wont catch him and starts coming to our gen. Both our random teammates left our gen and i at this point couldnt pop it in time, the second they saw the killer leave chase and we started snowballing from there..... all it would have taken is one person being hit then one person committing to the gen on the opposite side of the map.... but no. We snowballed from there and i watch our 2 randoms go down in a 20 second period. So when my friend died again trying to finish that gen to prevent a 3 gen, i did give up and i started doing the snowman and snowball farming for points cause what is the point in trying to play that match is i am playing a 1v1 while my other 2 teammates hide in bushes which i could see them doing with bond. Then one of them had the audacity to tell me to unalive myself cause i didnt throw myself at the killer and let them get hatch, when they were incapable of running a killer or committing 2 a gen, the 2 most basic objectives we have as survivors. Stories like this on 90% of matches anymore, survivors dont come in wanting to play, they come in expecting the 3 other people to play and they reap the escape. The second i see this behavior now, i dont take the match seriously anymore. If i have solo popped a gen while someone has taken chase and the other 2 people have done nothing.... then why am i gonna take the match seriously? AND if by some miracle i can get randoms onto gens its usually corner gens leaving us in a 3 gen hell late game
So when I don't wiggle, because most of the time it's pointless anyway, and I took that time to have a sip of my drink and have a bite off my snacks, it's criminal. How dare I not use pointless mechanics
if I go next, it's not because of the killer, it's because I'm solo queue and the other survs are just faffing around in Narnia and/or intentionally sandbagging me . . . or I'm on hook as see one of my fellow survs flying/teleporting around . . . I refuse to play with cheaters and go next to report them ASAP. btw, solo queue shows me the worst this community has on display.
Boss, I main survivor, and it's not that bad. Yes once every 3 games someone kills themselves on the hook. It sucks more for killer than it does for survivor, because you know winning a 3v1 is trivial most times. However if you just mess up you still have two more chances and you have gathered some info on how the killer wants to play. Use it and once the killer chases you again, make a comeback with it. However I totally understand when you have like 4 hooks on 3 different people and no gens or only 1 gen got done. I mean, there's no doing anything there, the gens being done regressed by regression perks and got blocked by DMS/Grim what have you. I totally understand going next there. There's no fixing this issue. If BHVR tries to fix it by getting rid of kobe then they'll get unhooked and grief the other players because they do not want to play. BHVR can't change people's mentality, people need to have a good and positive mentality to play the game because if you are going with the "We're losing" one, you are going to have a bad time and end up quitting on hook. Stop doing that. Go play something else or do anything else, that's just a waste of time for everyone. Remember it's a game meant to have fun, and with every defeat you take if you stay positive and check on your mistakes you may learn something you can use to have better games later.
I'll be completely honest, I've been a quitter lately, and this has everything to do with how other players are treating me in matches. I can deal with your average BM (like survivors tbagging at exit gate or the killer hitting on the hook) just fine, I can deal with average map nonsense, I can deal with messing up and losing. But I feel like people have become so much more vicious lately. It's like people are making it their sole purpose to win and make the other side as miserable as possible. People are optimizing fun out of the game, making it as hard as possible for the opposite side to enjoy anything. I've been asking people in the post-game chat why are they bringing map offerings during the event and it seems they don't care about other players, they just want to win or make me mad over "gg ez". I've been repeatedly told things like "it's not my job to make sure you have fun". And I think that broke me. It turned me around. If other players don't have to care about my fun then I don't have to care about theirs. I tunnel when it's convenient because I no longer care about the poor Claudette getting farmed in front of me because why should I, she wouldn't make it easier and more fun for me if I were in the losing position. If I'm not having fun or decide it's an early loss, I either give up on first hook or go AFK as killer and watch a YT video to pass time because I don't care about my teammates and opponents. They certainly don't care about me, they care about me doing the player things which if I no longer want to do in a given match, then goodbye. Have fun on your own terms, I don't have to participate. And I get it, I'm part of the problem now. I'm making things worse. But I'm not here to please anyone, I just want to relax after work. And if playing how others want me to play makes me miserable, then I'm going to play however I find fun which now includes giving up early. If you don't like that then complain to BHVR because BHVR is the one responsible for fixing this mess. After 6 years of playing DbD, I completely lost faith in the player base in being able to play around this game's problems and not exploiting them for their own selfish reasons.
@@gnolex86 All of this issues have started to happen recently because of 3 things. 1. An SBMM system introduced based on kills and escapes. 2. Core balance issues still being in the game after 8 years since this game was released. 3. The massive difference between a SWF and a solo queue player is still in the game til this day.
@Joeysworldtour-y7kthe sbmm being based on just kills and escapes really pisses me off! Escaping is fine in a swf so it works but it absolutely destroys solo queqe as you are stuck in a never ending losing loop with the odd eacape in between
This has been an issue on killer side for years, survivors make it their goal to disrespect the killer and make them suffer, and optimize the shit out of the game to make it unfun. This is nothing new for killers, but it's weird to see killers finally have enough power to make survivor players feel okay to say this, has it really gotten that bad there?
THIS, this is why I play the way I do as killer. I don’t do it as much as survivor, but that’s because survivor gameplay is supposed to be more team based, so of course I don’t want to screw over the rest of the team.
the hard part I realized is really no matter what we or bhvr do, some people are just gonna be entitled and find ways around the solutions to ruin the game for others.
I would honestly love to see the DC penalty removed, the players who already don't want to play that match can get out and go next faster, rather than be quote-unquote "forced" to stay in the game and either sandbag, AFK, or give up on hook, I'd rather have a bot. The fact they made DC penalty even longer lately just ironically made the problem so much worse because it only incentivizes giving up on hook and wasting a potential bot body for that team, exactly the opposite of its intention. I would love even more to see self-unhook (minus anti-camp and perks that grant it like Deliverance) and struggle mechanics removed entirely. Two positives for the game at once: one, a major sometimes match-deciding RNG element is removed from the game which is always healthy for a game that wants to be "competitive", two, giveuppers are directly countered, and their fastest method to go next once again returns to being the good ol "eat the DC penalty and give a bot" (or maybe with no "easy way out" they'll actually be encouraged to try to play each game out in full now instead of just quitting? - sorry, wishful thinking). You'd of course have to rework the Luck mechanic (chests instead? that's the common suggestion) and perks that grant non-guaranteed self-unhooks (Slippery Meat might have a good on-theme rework going for it in the style of a chase perk, like if you're in chase for a cumulative 150/135/120 seconds you can self-unhook once this game, even on second stage; Up The Ante could again just modify chests instead or something, whatever it's a troll pick I don't care) and - oops, I forgot, this is "too much work" for the small indie company BHVR to take on, it's a fantasy world to suggest revamping unhealthy game mechanics that are "iconic" to the game. This won't happen and we're stuck with giveuppers. Sincerely, a soloqueuer who has mastered the art of giving up on hook whenever slightly inconvenienced :3 (but hey at least I'm here pointing out where the system's gone wrong, ball's in BHVR's court!)
I understand if people wanna give up, but I don't understand when they do it to early, for example, if there's five gens left and your the first to go down within thirty seconds to a minute of the match starting makes no sense, cause things can get better. I'll understand if you give up with like 4 to 5 gens and there are 6 - 8 hooks which is more understandable since at that point I have no clue if we'd even be able to bring it back and hot take I know but, at that point it's even more uncommon for me to see something like that happen.
It is entitlement and nothing more. And giving up at 8 hooks with 4 gens left is stupid as well. Why would someone give up and lose what BP they earned from the match, especially if it is a multiicake offering. Just duke it out and finish the match I say.
@@CaptToilet give up on hook will still give you bps, and I personally will stay till the end but if people are bored or want to just move on because the match isn't going so well and probably won't recover then let them give up, at least they tried to play the game out somewhat.
This has been an issue for Ghostface and Myers from day one, the SECOND that 99 goes off people immediately throw a fit and leave. Both of these Killers are M1 loopable Killers with no antiloop whatsoever, no mobility, and no bullshit mechanics provided certain addons are not run. Just a oneshot and stealth feature. And only one of them can control it. Both these Killers are HELLA inoffensive and considered relatively weak because you can loop them easily and SWF hurts them badly. Every other Survivor buff makes these Killers struggle even harder. And people are DCing and whining now because "oneshot mechanics aren't fair". Know what's not fair? Ruining my game, and the game of four others in the round, because they can't easily get clips for TikTok and TH-cam of breaking Killer ankles easily anymore, because they skyrocketed their Survivor MMR and now they don't like that they can be shat on by Killers that know how to use even weaker Killers effectively, because BHVR is sick of the Survivor BS about needing to be able to stomp every Killer so that only the strongest are viable.
One sable gave up against me as singularity so i dc since i dont want to play a 3v1 cuz thats boring. But then one of the survivors messages me calling me a loser cuz i dced but it was at 5 gens and i had one hook. He kept messaging me calling me boring and talking about my build.
It's insane how easily people give up. Even as a killer i rage when people just quit. Honestly when people quit or give themselves on hook. I stop playing and give survivors a free escape. When playing survivor its so annoying to people to give up easily.Even if i get tunneled out most of the time my team can get out and thats a win for me i died yeah but 3 people got out. Honestly might be harsh but killing your self on hook should incure a "dc penalty" as well. "We cant force people to play" argument its funny. They launched the game they qued up they pressed ready nobody forced people to play DBD.
Yeah. It's been so bad in the last few months. I've had people DC or give up on first hook because I was playing Silent Chainsaw Hillbilly [even though I fully planned on letting them go after getting two hooks on everyone]. It's annoying. The only times I've ever had to DC is when something is happening in real life that I have to deal with. It sucks, but I'll gladly take the thirty second penalty while I go deal with that something, and give my teammates a bot or give the survivors a free escape. Sometimes we have shit to do. But just because it's a killer you don't like or the game isn't going how you'd like, that's not an excuse to make the game harder and worse for your teammates by giving up on hook.
I don't want to quit. And I don't. Because I don't want a dc timer. These servers are ass. And if it dcs you then you end up with a twelve hour ban when you're a serial give uper. But man. When I quit I just dc bc it's for the day. When I give up I say eff this and close dbd. Not give up on hook.
Until BHVR does anything to de-incentivize giving up on first hook, the give up epidemic is just going to keep getting worse and worse. There’s literally nothing stopping a survivor from just going next. Giving up on first hook should be considered a disconnect, yet it isn’t.
Im a killer, and i see people get unhooked, and they don't move or do nothing. I put them in the dying state and keep playing. You don't want to play, then you're going to sit here and waste your time.
yeah i had people dc/give up when i hit my very first spear shot of the match as deathslinger plenty of times , more times than not i just stay there me not pulling the chain and them not struggling . It gets awkward
The FIRST 99 down of the Game. At 5 gens because nobody was looking for me. As Ghostface, a Stealth Killer, a type of Killer you should have known was in play because of lack of TR and thus raised your hackles and looked for. ON COLDWIND FARMS. I was dressed in the blackest possible robes. THEY WOULD HAVE SEEN ME IF THEY LOOKED. I stuck out like a sore thumb. Instead they gave me a 3k because the Jake didn't want to do anything but hide, and the Kate decided to throw on the FIRST 99 OF THE GAME because SHE was the one I downed on a bad Ghostface map. Make this make sense.
what about killers who stand in the corner and give up at 5 gens? I have that more than I do survivors giving up at 5 gens. I think it's a 2 way issue.
If your Killer has given up in the corner and stands there, you or your team probably did something to make that happen. Killers don't have a give up option the way Survivors do, they're stuck there, so if they want to give up they have to stand in a corner and will eventually have the server disconnect them for doing nothing, ending the round. It's a 2 way issue yes - but one side has more ways to do it than the other.
It's so frustrating to see people DCing at the start of the match especially in event queue. I cannot even comprehend this fenomena. Like, event queue is special sacred place mostly for fun limited expirience that you'll never get in the normal "tryhard" queue. Why in the tarnation view this particular game mode as the same slot machine and ruin fun for others?
I also use to not care cuz it was basically free bp for me as killer hehehehe But playing survivor and when we were about to win and finish the last 4 gens simultaneously. A random decided to give up on hook and cost us the entire game and we ended up getting slugged to death against a blight lol pain
My thoughts on this is, well, they bought the game and they can do what they want. Is it cringe? I agree, it is. I do slug give-up andies, mainly if its a couple games in a row or many in a span of an hour. But most of the time I hook them. its a hard situation really, because while it does suck that they're ruining the game for the other 4 players (including the killer), they did buy the game and you can't really stop them from giving up. because they'll just force bleed out and deny being picked up by other survivors. I do honestly think BHVR cant do much to stop this from happening, because if someone wants to give up they will. but maybe I'm wrong
I know its an unpopular opinion, but I absolutely think they should just remove the DC penalty. Bots are not perfect, but if people are giving up on hook to go next in order to get around the penalty anyway then just let them DC and give me a bot teammate.
when Yoichi came into the game, there was a perk of his with an achievement that tracked survivors approaching you for heals and would not unlock if you yourself moved toward them. So BHVR should totally have something to track survivors running into killers and forcing themselves to die. "Ugh I was trying to 4% and since it didn't work, there's no point to keep playing since I'll just be thrown back on hook". 1st you're assuming I will tunnel off hook, 2nd, YOU put yourself in that position. I think the 4% should be removed
Honestly, if slugging people out is your answer, I would rather you _ignore_ them outright and leave them for the end and slug them for the 4k and Finisher Mori. That way not only do they waste their time, but hopefully they'll join the people trashing the ill-thought-out Finisher mori in the feedback forums and it'll get reverted or reworked. Pure slugging will only make people whine for basekit Unbreakable, which would destroy the game, and that's not the goal.
Well in my defense today. When does comment was made. Now I go to work so I only played about five games. And I have no friends so I don't do Swf. In all of my five games I got tunnel and got camped. And three of them were my teammates just gave up. And as a result I lost all those times except for one at least or three of my teammates got out. But I lost to try to be the hero I guess. Then I had a match where my teammates didn't even bother trying to get me off the hook. But they left themselves be defeated by a wraith I mean like really. So I off myself on first hook. Man you get bad teammates and for killers is just so ez when that happens.
I've given up on DBD for now. BHVR aint bothered with the game, so I aint bothering with DBD for 2025. My new years resolution if you will. Im sick and tired of the constant carbon-copy builds from killers, the stale gameplay, the lack of variety outside of events, and BHVRs inability to see the game needs a project health update. So until such time as either I see SUBSTANTIAL change to DBD, or 2026 rolls around. im out.
I think a lot of people are addicted to dbd and its really fucking annoying. I like dbd. I enjoy playing the game on both sides and will play out a match even if I'm not doing well because of that. I think most people are PRETENDING to enjoy and want to play dbd habitually, because if they actually did enjoy it they wouldn't be quitting every three games- or throw a hissyfit anytime they don't encounter the 1/550 style of matches that is the only way they can specifically at least tolerate dbd in.
Well, I really only give up if the killer is gonna be shitty and tunnel at 5 gens, or my teammates have 0 IQ and aren't even attempting to come to me and would rather goof off. But I'm also just not logging in until the next rift now so maybe the problem will resolve itself then.
Play the other side and understand why killers have to focus someone ot at 5 gens. That killer will most likely tell you yes it shows 5 gens when I tunneled them out, but if 3 of those gens are 90%, then the reality is they only have 2 gens left.
@@CaptToiletthis is such a braindead argument. You absolutely do not have to tunnel at 5 gens in most matches. If you’ve got a down, and somebody unhooked before the first gen pops you’re already doing really well, and are well on your way to winning. Killer is nowhere near as difficult as players like you make it out to be. You just like to throw that at people to both justify your behavior and stroke your own ego about how “hard” your role is.
Yeah I should have clearly stated here that giving up with like 2 people already sacrificed or something akin to that makes sense. It was a rant video so it was less organized unfortunately.
@@stevenobrien7686 Then you are oblivious to how good players play this game. 1st chase typically means 3 gens will be done or close to being done. If you aren't experiencing that then you are low MMR full stop.
So if I play solo q and I see that nobody is doing gens, the chases are 5 secs long and I just wanna go next I am the villain cause the matchmaking does not work properly?
Here's what I see. If someone gives up at 5 gens cause they got a 5 sec chase or something, they are ruining thee match. If someone gives up at 3 to 1 gen cuz their first chase wasn't good but thee game could be winnable, they are ruining thee match.
Yes. You are. Because the rest of the team wants to do something else, go do gens and stop being the chase hog. If you're that mad about chases then put on Lithe, learn to Loop, and handle it like a big boy, or let someone else handle the chase instead. That's what Survivors used to do.
I think it's strange for killers to take it upon themselves to punish other players for something that BE has the ability to fix. Regardless, you're going to have one less player contributing.
You bleed someone out for not wiggling? That's a bit extreme don't you think there's like no chance a survivor is going to get dropped by the killer without the help of other survivors it's also a bit of an assumption that it means they will give up on hook when I play I often do try to wiggle but don't give up I just know 99.9% of the time there is a hook close enough that I won't get dropped.
4 minute bleedout for wanting to quit a game where 2 of your teammates already left is pathetic. Just let him go next brother. I dont know what youre trying to accomplish by leaving him on the floor, the game is already over.
I'm noticing a pattern that the plausibility of a win is the only thing "worth staying" for and I think that's a problem in itself. Sorry for being "pathetic" though!
@@themrheadacheQ1 I kinda expect the dbd community to continue to put words in my mouth at this point. How people have fun differs. I like hard games and hard matches. I however don't want to be stuck in a match that's impossible. If you decided to ask I would've told you that, but instead you assumed im in the "i only have fun when i win" camp. In fact if someone quits in my killer games I want to go next myself. It's not about winning it's about enjoying the experience which is hard to do after someone quits. Otz literally quit after a DC in one of his latest compilations videos, so I know im not the only person who does this. lol. Buddy, you ain't the punisher, if someone quits, kill them and then report them after the match is over. I only tend to report the first one to DC because I kind of get everyone else wanting to drop out after that point. Could I find a way to maybe go for a cool save on a bot, or maybe just try to see if I can go on a fun chase at least before I give up, maybe. But I should really be expected to stretch out a game that already decided for a head on or just to specifically play for hatch? (Bleeding someone out for 4 mins is the pathetic thing btw, I'm not saying you're pathetic just to make it clear.)
8:05 Hey Bran, that logic isn’t true though. In certain situations it is, but if we’re talking about tunneling at 5 gens, we both know that’s different. If you’ve already gotten a survivor hooked, unhooked, and have the opportunity to chase again before a single gen has popped you’re in a really good position as killer. Somebody trying to stomp out any chance of the other team winning, and end the game before it even starts, and the other person going “oh, so the opportunity to have a normal game, where I have a chance to win is already over? I don’t think I want to spend another 20 minutes playing out a match that’s lost.” Are two totally different perspectives. You can’t equate the two.
people don't care about other people there 3 team mates are less important then themselves real life is the same problem they only care a bout themselves if punishments were less for crime more people would just commit crime.
I don’t see this issue being fixed anytime soon unless they fix the core issues of the game and you would start seeing less and less of it but this is BHVR we are talking about who are mostly content at putting band-aid fixes to the core game issues, the most recent example are the sacrificial wards being brown so that killers (who have mostly talked about this issue since most maps still favor survivors to this day) can reject map offerings instead of fixing the map RNG and how laughable bad some of these maps are. 1:32 It might have been the devs intention to make it a casual/party game when the game first released but the game has evolved past then to be a competitive game, the fact that you have to sides pitted against each makes it competitive in nature. The only solution i can see for BHVR trying fix the ”go next” pandemic is for them to completely remove the DC penalty altogether because atleast then you would get a bot teammate. You start giving penalties to people to who wanna leave a match then you are just encouraging people to find other ways to leave the match by intentionally sandbagging, missing skill checks, going AFK etc etc. 3:53 Great method there Bran by forcing someone to be in a match with 3 bots…awesome! 6:14 like Coté said ”play something else”.
Core issues? The thing is the people who are constantly dcing are finding ANY reason they can to dc. Or just dcing for no reason at all. I'm afraid they don't care what state the game is in. Also, you keep saying "fix the core issues," but if this keeps up, the gg next pandemic WILL be a core issue.
@@SeeNogDBDYT It's already a core issue. And it's gonna kill the game if BHVR doesn't remove the basekit 4% unless you're running certain perks. I'm over the entitled teammates dying and making the rest of us suffer, and I'm really over seeing babies upset over a mechanic I have no control over give up against my Ghostface at 5 gens and me just taking the bot as a Kill and maybe one other as a 2k, because that wasn't a game and I refuse to be That Killer.
Dear every Survivor in DBD, YOU HAVE TO FUCKING TRY. PLEASE. FOR THE LOVE OF GOD LEARN COUNTERPLAY, OR AT LEAST TRY. WE ALL LOSE WHEN YOU CHOOSE TO GIVE UP. EVEN THE KILLER LOSES. YOU RUIN EVERYONE'S GAME AND DAY WHEN YOU DO THIS. YOU RUIN MY DAY WHEN YOU DO THIS. YOU ENCOURAGE KILLERS TO BE RUTHLESS AND SURVIVORS TO HATE YOU MORE. STOP. Love, A 60/40 hybrid Surv to Killer Main who doesn't even play that mean or anything
They made bots to replace people who give up but inplemented a dc penalty which now forces people who are not enjoying the match to give up in a much worse way which pretty much guarantees a loss gor your team😂
You shouldn't hold it to the other survivors to finish the match out if 1-2 people give up instantly. That's basically unwinnable. 1 bot is meh but 2 bots is still a loss unless the killer actively plays very casually. Also look at how the game is going. If you've chased on person for 3 minutes before hooking them with zero gens being done, why blame them for going next? Their is no way of winning. I've tried hard in those matches and the effort just isn't worth it as a solo player. 3 gens, long chases, saves/heals...
@@Cerebrus000 Yeah and why waste to time to appease the other side when the game is already lost and done for because the killer thinks he is entitled to keep everyone in a match. This video just screams entitlement on the killer side.
And the killers see our auras every second of the game, and our one perk to counter it was nerfed. Our healing and medkits were nerfed badly. Killers now have a huge incentive to slug for the 4k AND the finishing mori. I hate it so much, no one gives hatch anymore. They range camp so we can’t counter it, but they can be right there to tunnel. It honestly feel so unplayable with solo q, and no I don’t want an easy win. I want a challenge, not impossible.
The idea that wanting to win is the only qualifier to "yeah I'll stay in this game" is slightly concerning. There's plenty of times growing up that I'd be playing a team sport and the other team would have a massive lead. By DBD community standards, we should just go sit on the bench and not finish the remaining quarters. I just can't follow that logic and to me, seems like extremely poor sportsmanship.
Honestly if I see I have someone out at 5 gens I usually just decide to 2k and that's it, or at least let them get some gens done. Because I know I ain't gotta try that hard.
Someone summed it up perfectly. The problem is survivors are generally dissatisfied the gameplay experience. They buffed killer like Nemesis and Dracula, so you see them too much. Plus the constant introduction of killers that either ignore loops or play around them easily has made people just give up. Obviously they should just hang it up but they're addicted to the game.
The real issue is that there's too many antiloop Killers AND Survivors won't take the time to learn the counterplay to the ones we have. I genuinely miss M1 Killers and think we need to go back to THAT game design, period, enough of this. I also find playing antiloop super boring and prefer Killers that HAVE to play around loops which is why I main Killers like Ghostie, Sadako, Dredge, etc. Those require more skill than spamming a power at a loop for a free hit.
At 10:13 he decided to tunnel while he was camping the afk hooked player downs the the unhooking player then waits out the timer for endurance downs her after her dc n wonders why survivors mains dc 🤣🤣 but in all fairness not his fault that the person was afk. 3 survivors in one location why wouldn't he stay getting the free down n leaving the slug for pressure. Going for the his 3rd hooked honestly the survivors made terrible decisions cherl got farmed 🤣🤣 solo q sucks. the game would be alot better if both sides can see through each other lenses and learn how to play each side
I think there should be multiple traps set in place that if a survivor sets off all of them, the game will classify it as rage quitting and get a ban. 1. How much time has passed since the start of the trial 2. How many generations have been fixed 3. How much damage has the killer inflicted on the survivor (For The People and Invocation does not count) 4. How many skill checks has the survivor missed during second hook If all four are set off, the survivor will be met with a ban.
How am i meant to want to play the whole match out when I constantly get teammates that wander around not attempting to progress the match dying 10 seconds into a chase or not knowing how to properly play against a killer (ex picking up the flag for knight or using emps on singularity)
That's an issue of not having good MMR, and it doesn't FIX your MMR to keep going next. Find friends online, SWF up and get yourself from the gutter, it's the only solution I've found.
I find the criticism of giving up on hook hilarious. Mainly because killers have said “it’s not my job to make sure you enjoy the match” after getting chewed out for tunneling, or something. So I see this as survivors essentially saying the same thing. It’s possible it’s trolling, and if so this just gives the troll what they want. That is to ruin your match.
I don't get it. The more videos get released about "nearly everyone" giving up in their games, the more I wonder how I barely ever have anyone do it in my matches. In over 2.5k hours, playing 40% of it as Killer and 60% as Survivor, I can maybe, at most, remember 10-15 people killing themselves on hook to bypass the DC penalty. I really don't understand why I experience it barely at all, while others say it happens nonstop. I seriously question, whether my experience is a massive anomaly and I am just very lucky or others exaggerate a lot. Like, how can the difference be that extreme.
After they added bots having dc penalty is bad, if the "give uppers" could dc and leave the bot behind it would be better, and I remember the first thing I said when they added the dc penalty was, "they'll just give up on hook, this solves nothing"
Bots make the game unfun. Nobody wants to play against bots, and with no DC penalty, SWFs could just disconnect instantly the second things dont go their way. Leaving the killer in a game vs 4 bots.
but if there were no dc penalty, the killer could also just dc and go next, the way it is now, 1 or 2 man can give up and ruin the game for everyone anyway, and the remaining players can't dc because of the dc penalty
@@literallyme177 Which is what happened to numerous Skull Merchant players and part of why she got nerfed into the ground even after being rebalanced once.
Tbf. if I see 2 bots in my game I can understand why you want to give up and got next because let´s be honest that bots are stupid as hell and it is basically a lost game and a waste of everyones time.
No. Reason? Because playing the match out in certain situations is both hopeless, and outright painful. Sometimes the killer player is just a jerk, and I don’t want to give them the respect of playing a match out. I almost always play in a SWF though, and everyone agrees or disagrees on whether it’s okay to quit or not. Doing that to a lobby of randoms would be evil I agree. No need to worry about me though, I won’t be playing dbd anytime soon anyway. I currently hate this game, the community, and my preferred role of survivor after 2k hours is now the most unbearable/unenjoyable it’s ever been. If I ever come back to dbd it’ll be only to play killer.
Explain the killer being a jerk? I'm trying to figure out what this constitutes, other than the killer being good, or playing the game the most optimal fashion for a killer instead of catering to survivor wants,
@@ScarletStarManorkiller trying to win is bad, survivor trying to win is good….. seriously the thought process of many of these people who don’t actually want to play the game isn’t complicated.
The way you described how you deal with people who give up really sounds like "go sit in the corner and think about your actions"
Thank you for letting the Sable go in the first match, i bet it made that whole 3dc experience a little better for her.
The sad reality is the only reason she never dced was because she already had a penalty😂
I'm sorry, that's not the experience you should be having. I knew this would become an issue when bots were introduced.
3:40 I 100% agree & must be encouraged.
It's not slugging what you're doing; that's called time out.
Change the ready button to “Ready AND willing” because that’s what the button is short for
Sorry for the essay.
2v1 is almost never winnable or fun. I don't know why he decided to 4min bleedout a surv who wanted to go next after 2 people already left.
@austinwilson8352 My fault, I should've clarified. He didn't bleed me out. He just tbagged me, carried me to a hook, dropped me, tbagged me again, then hooked me. It sucks because you're already having a bad time then the other side ALWAYS has to put salt in the wound.

You know what won't DC on hook? Raising Canes Chicken
Easy games so you can win and go up in mmr and they go down in mmr which will eventually filter out people who give up from those who stick to it
No it ISNT a good thing. No one likes free undeserved wins. And this is a high MMR issue also
I agree with having the attenpts to be at end of 1st stage to try and unhook, but if they have a perk that allows them to unhook themselves like deliverance, wicked, and slippery meat should be able to unhook at start
People will just go afk more if they change that.
People killing on their first hook at the very start of the game is driving me absolutely crazy. I hate this.
Most considerate Xenomorph main: 3:42
so much bullshit about "rules" and "consideration" and "other people's fun", it's so gross and phony.
killers KILL. that's what they're supposed to do. anyone who's doing otherwise is being a damn fool. sure i give hatch sometimes IF that survivor gave me a fun, tough match, otherwise they all die and i'm happy.
survivors survive. they play hard, and i like when they play hard, because kicking the shit outta terrible megs and dwights is boring as hell. give me the tough swfs.
i swear this game has the most entitled, whiny crybabies i've ever seen in one place. obviously not ONE of these people ever played organized sports in their youth. if they had, they'd probably expect the other team to "tone down the fastballs" so their team could get more hits, good lord 🙄
hey, it's their game, they pay for it, they should play how they want. but having expectations about what any player is "supposed" to do in terms of behavior or "consideration" is just laughable, i literally scoff aloud whenever i hear some delusional dipshit talk about "survivor rulebook".
@roflmows Found the Xenomorph main.
If they add a BP Bonus to everyone who continues to play after someone DC's, then removing the ban might work well.
That would kill the queue times most likely
@@CaptToilet I don't think so. Games with less of a player base have it and they do just fine.
Knowing the DBD community people will just block anyone who beats them or does something that they perceived as being rude (which for DBD can be anything from t-bagging, to tunneling, to just like- using a flashlight.)
This would kill queue times and specifically appeal to babies that refuse to figure out how to play the game and just rage anytime something they dislike happens.
Ya I constantly see survivors give up on hook over such minor shit. There’s times where they could easily still win but they will still give up
my gf constantly gets tunneled every game cuz shes new, there's no winning a 3v1at 5 gens so i die to go next with her. Seems fair imo
Step 1: Put struggle meter on the second hook state
Step 2: Slug the quitter for the full 3:55 seconds.
Step 3:Right before they bleed out, hook them
Step 4: ??????
Step 5: Profit!
They should add a perk that gives you the address of anyone who gives up on hook.
Its not the fact the killers are broken, they are balanced but the way they are balanced are unfun and not very interactive anymore
I don't wanna just hold w in the comp corner to win that's just not interesting to me
7:45 They are not the same thing.
The ending of your vid was so cute! You’re so right you be doing high productions now and making jokes comedians would shake they’re boots in ❤
Today I had a Myers doing exactly what you said your way of dealing with people that give up is. And I want to say something about this, before it becomes a problem on top of a problem. (Not saying you, Bran, do this, just hope some might read this and think before they act.)
So, what happened: I played against a Myers and the first time I went down, I was prevented from wiggling.
The only thing more frustrating are rat players.
intro was fantastic ^^ love the energy haha
"Oh boy, i cant wait to open dbd, wait in queue for 10 minutes and then leave as soon as a minor inconvenience happens"
@Joeysworldtour-y7kYou’re absolutely correct
Sad this issue got worse luckily I have been taking a break from Dbd mostly playing path of Titans
@@ThePhantomSafetyPin they still give up "because they dont wanna deal with it" like survivors. So it's still the same.
I also use to not care cuz it was basically free bp for me as killer hehehehe
But playing survivor and when we were about to win and finish the last 4 gens simultaneously. A random decided to give up on hook and cost us the entire game and we ended up getting slugged to death against a blight lol pain
Don't even care at this point when someone gives up. Completely conditioned to loser over and over.
What if it’s Slugularity and I can actually get him to hook me and I’m in solos? I think it’s fair there
Have you seen otz’s video on xeno earlier today?
Video coming out later today about this!
I think imma start doing this when people just give up when I play Killer
And yet when you ask the community to just try to play out the match you get a bunch of “don’t owe you” comments
when Yoichi came into the game, there was a perk of his with an achievement that tracked survivors approaching you for heals and would not unlock if you yourself moved toward them.
But I'm also just not logging in until the next rift now so maybe the problem will resolve itself then.
that would be another reason I'd give up on hook, but since it's 90% of my matches as survivor I just salvage what i can get at this point
Just have give up on hook drop triple BP to all remaining parties and they'll stay out of spite lol
I don't wanna watch this video.
I MUST
GO NEXT
I put people in time out all of the time. I rarely have a case where they are willing to bleed out for 4 minutes.
Dear every Survivor in DBD,
YOU HAVE TO FUCKING TRY.
STOP.
Love,
A 60/40 hybrid Surv to Killer Main who doesn't even play that mean or anything
They made bots to replace people who give up but inplemented a dc penalty which now forces people who are not enjoying the match to give up in a much worse way which pretty much guarantees a loss gor your team😂
Nah.
(Skibidi Toilet’s my way to the next match)
I like the hook (see what I did there?)
The fact that "playing the game" is now "entitlement" genuinely worries me.
What do you expect when playing around hooks is now some of the only interactivity left in the game, and hooks are weakened pressure now?
@@ThePhantomSafetyPinit was 5 gens, at that point he did it to be an asshole, and then complain why people don't like you smh
I think there should be multiple traps set in place that if a survivor sets off all of them, the game will classify it as rage quitting and get a ban.
1. How much time has passed since the start of the trial
2. How many generations have been fixed
3. How much damage has the killer inflicted on the survivor (For The People and Invocation does not count)
4. How many skill checks has the survivor missed during second hook
If all four are set off, the survivor will be met with a ban.
late fish
How am i meant to want to play the whole match out when I constantly get teammates that wander around not attempting to progress the match dying 10 seconds into a chase or not knowing how to properly play against a killer (ex picking up the flag for knight or using emps on singularity)
That's an issue of not having good MMR, and it doesn't FIX your MMR to keep going next. Find friends online, SWF up and get yourself from the gutter, it's the only solution I've found.
What going to happen if you slugged them for 4 mins. Their just going to let you deal with the crows for 4mins while watch a vid
Killer main streamers cry more
if my teammate saves me when I’m going next . I will throw every pallet on the map until I’m in the next game
They are getting the message crossed terribly, they said " I will NEVER give up on giving up!!!!" 😢😢😢😢😢😢
I find the criticism of giving up on hook hilarious.
Its exaggerated tbh
@@literallyme177 Which is what happened to numerous Skull Merchant players and part of why she got nerfed into the ground even after being rebalanced once.
people are just gonna tab out for 4 min lol
Tbf. if I see 2 bots in my game I can understand why you want to give up and got next because let´s be honest that bots are stupid as hell and it is basically a lost game and a waste of everyones time.
Guess I’m gonna sit on the floor and ur gonna hear noise notifications while I sit on my phone til then ur choice
Enjoy! I'd just not queue if you don't wanna play personally, but enjoy wasting time!
Lmao this has been my method for months now, I want the rest of your team to see how worthless you are
when i have 3 team mates that get hook before 1 gen is done yep im out by a hook or slug im gone simple i get out an enjoy the next round.
No.
