  • In this video, a series of experiments are used to show the effect of temperature on the rate of reaction between sodium thiosulfate and hydrochloric acid.
    One of the products of this reaction is sulfur, a solid. The reaction rate can be measured by recording the time taken for the accumulation of this solid to obscure a black cross under the beaker.
