GoPro: Caltrain Limited 3 Cab Ride on Caltrain 307 San Jose to San Francisco (April 2022)

I recently got a chance to ride the whole Caltrain route from San Jose to San Francisco, so I filmed the journey out of the front of the train. The train starts in San Jose, makes its way up the peninsula as a local, before arriving to the new Hillsdale Station and making an express journey onward stopping at the San Francisco Airport transfer station (Millbrae) and finally San Francisco's 4th and King Station! This is different from the cab ride video 5 years ago. Looks like CalTrain has its own dedicated rail line, as if they've moved UP onto it's own line now.

well, there is not much freight service along here. Caltrain does own their right of way and found a way to electrify it.

Why did the train go from Millbrae to San Francisco? It's should stop at South San Francisco and then San Francisco.

yes you see before September the L3 didn't stop at SSF and this was recorded in April.
