I get the stitches out in three days. I'll be glad because they're starting to get tight and pull when I move so I'm not comfortable going to the gym. I am missing it!
What a gorgeous place to film!!!! SO beautiful! I'm loving how your sutures are looking - definitely healing well. Even though you aggravated it by leaning on it - you've taken amazing care of it! I am sorry you had to miss your Sunday Sesh - I know how much you love it. It makes sense that you were exhausted after the removal - it is a surgery and stresses the body and mind. I'm so glad that you took time to rest your body and mind. I can't imagine how things with your dad are weighing on you. ♥ It's really amazing how self aware you are and how much wisdom you have despite all the challenges (you need to write a book for the rest of us!). Sending you tons of love and hugs and praying for a speedy recovery and healing in all areas of your life. Love ya! ❤❤❤
Thank you, Charla! When I had the sample taken from the melanoma, it was only three stitches and I didn't give it the respect it deserved. I did more than I should have and it got slightly infected so I've taken much more care with this (much larger) wound. But I'll be so glad to get back to the gym, not only for my weight loss but for my mental health! When I'm at the gym, nothing exists beyond what I'm doing then and there. The exercise is invigorating and relaxing at the same time! . . . I do live in a beautiful place! We're having some awful weather at the moment, but getting down to the beach, feeling the wind and smelling the sea air is my medication. I love the beach when it's wild and windy!

I get where you're coming from with the snake. I once lived in a house that attracted huge huntsmen spiders. I managed to stick it out for a few months but had to move in the end. Hopefully your cat will settle down and look forward to outside time again soon. Stitches out in 3 days - woohoo! Hang in there Karen ❤
I think I was so freaked because I simply wasn't expecting to see a big snake here. At other places I've lived, yes, but not here!
Lucy is getting better. She will spend time in the various now but sits on the mat close to the door.
