I love winter! I like crunching across the frosty lawn on really cold days. I love that it does get dark earlier - makes me want to snuggle down and 'nest'. Really cold nights have a deep quietness to them which is a huge contrast to summer nights. I love soup, crockpot meals, hot chocolate and good old fashioned winter puds (golden syrup dumplings - yummmm) Just as well I live in Tassie - lol. I hope winter treats you kindly, Karen 😀
We didn't have Winter last year! A couple cold, windy days here and there. But that's all. I didn't even swap from the Summer to the mid season doona! I'm trying to enjoy this Winter as a "novelty". It was nice to feel cooler but the first really bitter day we had (this day I filmed) had me feeling less excited about the rest of the season! 🤣
What do you like about Winter? (I need more ideas to get me through the season!)

I love winter! Camping, hiking, being outside and not sweating to death.
Noooo! I like to sweat! 🤣 But yes, it is nice to be able to get outside and do lots of gardening.

The main thing I don't like is that I have to shovel snow - my least favorite chore! The good thing is NO BUGS!!😏

Compared to other places in the world our Winter is amazing! But for us, it's cold!
