Looking great bro! Skin is super clear and your face isn’t bloated from the booze. That’s progress. Your body is healing. 40 days sober today!! I too struggled with drinking alone, not knowing when to stop, making people around me worry because of how drunk I would get compared to them. I would always become the drunkest at the parties to the point they no longer wanted me around anymore. Super sad past man but I’m committed to change and healing and bettering myself now

Also h*ll yea dude!!! That’s what I’m talking about, congratulations on the 40 days don’t look back keep pushing forward like a soldier!
And yes, drinking alone became the norm. Being the drunkest at the parties became the norm till that eventually led to them not even inviting me at all lol and I can’t blame them….. I was a wild dude.
Anyways thanks again Dylan, keep going strong 💪.

Another sign you're becoming an alcoholic is a reduced gag reflex. When it used to take you 10, 12 drinks to throw up, now it takes you 20, 22, etc. Worse yet, is when you throw up MULTIPLE times in the same bender and KEEP going. *That's NOT normal.* Most people throw up once then pass out. If you throw up 2, 3, or 4 times in the same bender...you have a problem.

    • @Slayer-7373
      @Slayer-7373  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

That’s a great point, also I use to get wasted and go throw up and be horribly sick, give it about 5 minutes and then Jump back into the party as if nothing happened and start drinking again. That’s also a sign of a big problem.

What up Slayer, back with another banger🤙 glad you know to take the time you need for yourself.
    🚩
I remember the first time I tried hard liquor (vodka) the first shot was the most vile disgusting mouth feel experience I ever had. But as SOON as that warm tingly hit my stomach I no longer cared. I forced down a couple more while gagging and drooling.
    🚩🚩
The first time I got access to a whole fifth to myself (which I had shop lifted) I drank almost the whole thing, came to in the morning in my room with no clothes on wrapped in towels proped up on a bean bag with a note from my girlfriend who had thankfully been there with me saying that I had begun convulsing and vomiting and that she had made sure I didn't choke and cleaned me up and gone home. I was 15. I then proceeded to shrug my shoulders and stumble off to school still completely hammered. She probably saved my life.
    🚩🚩🚩
Another thing was taking small amounts of all the different liquor from her parents cabinet and mixing it together in one container to chug down, not caring what it tasted like of course.
    🚩🚩🚩🚩
As soon as I learned to drive and had a provisional licence my folks let me take the car out. Later that evening I got pulled over drunk with 3 other hooligans in the car and open 40s that we had shoulder tapped some hobos for. The cop allowed my folks to come get me and didnt even give me a DUI but charged me for violating the provisional period, but in my mind it was total bs and I resented it for years.
    🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩
I was a raging alcoholic from the moment it touched my body.
Im thankful to still be here to share these horror stories.

A big thing for me was when I'd have a live show to go to I used to be like "Awesome, I'm seeing a cool band tonight and I can have some drinks too." That soon changed to "Awesome, I get to be wasted at an event and listen to music at the same time". The alcohol became the central thing I would look forward to. The same thing with holidays. Instead of being excited about being a tourist, fun food, shopping, seeing the sights I was more excited that I could drink as much and as long as I wanted without having to sober up because I didn't have to go to work.

Such a waste of money to not even be present. Contrast this with when I was 18/19/20 I would go to gigs completely sober because I wanted to remember it and THEN I would drink after the show. Every time I quit drinking, things seem to normalize for about 30 days, but then everything goes back to how it used to be. It starts with wanting to have a party, leading to drinking, blacking out, and then regretting it all. The cycle of paranoia and regret kicks in, and I find myself going to the shop to buy beers-four cans at first. The next day, it's wine. The day after that, more wine. Eventually, it escalates to vodka, then Jack Daniels, and so on. I end up waking up in severe pain with withdrawal symptoms and deep regret, all because I couldn’t stop feeling anxious.
I’m only 21 years old, but I’ve been drinking since I was 13 or 14. The first time I got drunk was from my family’s bar at home. By the age of 15, I had drunk everything in that bar. I started going to parties and entering relationships where I’d always end up drinking heavily. At 16 or 17, girls seemed to be attracted to my wild behavior, and I ended up with the most beautiful girl in school. Initially, we both drank together, but for her, it was just casual drinking. For me, it became a habit where I’d come home and start drinking vodka alone in my room, feeling sad about things that didn’t even happen.

Hey slayer - I can totally relate to drinking some nasty crap in my initial drinking days MD 20/20 that’s some nasty sweet crap. I remember the taste 🤮 and being slumped over regretting that decision but finding myself right back. That was a long time ago. I had so many “friends” and initially it’s what you described we were a bunch of young adults having fun. Some of us got full time jobs and college etc it was time to get serious well that’s what eventually brought me to drinking again to deal with stress or celebrations which then fast forward found myself drinking for any reason. What you described was one of my really good friends as she was overdoing it all the time. I had to eventually pull away as it was getting dangerous. Unfortunately, after not speaking to her for over 12 years I have seen that she has multiple arrest for drinking. It makes me sad as we used to throw back 40 size beer together watching the sunrise on the beach. Your depiction was spot on of her and me on the other end picking her up and bailing her out. I had to save myself from the chaos as she kept putting me in scary situations. The irony is that it doesn’t take much to abuse alcohol. One day a week becomes 2, and so on. One bottle leads to two, it was fun until it’s not. Thank you for sharing slayer really reinforces the reason I need to stay away from it. Hey 7 days today without it again, congrats on your continued success. You look stronger and healthier. Keep enjoying the beautiful days even the rainy ones as life is a gift and you have so much to give. 💜

Micru!!! What’s up?? Also I know right? The things that we drink just to feel a temporary buzz is insane! Some of the nastiest crap ever.
Also awe 😕 I’m sorry about your friend. I can relate a lot to her, it got like that with my friends. People got scared of being around me because they never knew what crazy thing might happen. Nobody wanted to drive with me which was completely understandable. It gets like that for some of us when the addiction fully takes hold and you no longer have control. Very sad to watch and also experience.
Thanks as always micru and I mean that!!! You are a big part of this channel, been here for a long time and you are always showing love!!! I really consider you a friend. Have a fantastic day, much love 🖤🙏

On the funnier side, another sign you're an alcoholic, is finding yourself in ABSURD situations 😂 When drinking, you kind of let alcohol take the steering wheel and see where it takes you. One time, I was drinking with a bunch of homeless people. Another time, I was passed out under a bridge in 105 degree heat. And another time, I was drunk and coked out going for a run at 3AM. And almost always, it finally hits you... *"WTF am I doing?? And where am I??"* 😂

Why am I passed out in the middle of a field while it’s raining on me?” 😂. I’ll have to make a part two to this video and include this! Great point my friend.

Hi Slayer, it's me again, I'm on day 2 :) I'm not going back. I know I'm gonna make it. I've surrendered to God cause I want to live after what I told you happen and I can't take this opportunity of STILL being alive after at death in my eyes, I cant take this chance for granted. I would've been gone a long 2 years ago. Death made peace with life in my situation and it gave me a chance to actually be grateful to listening to your videos. I can't wait for how much better I feel after the next day and the next and I focus on delerium tremens and the terrible seizure I had that almost ended me and by the grace of God I was sober for 4 days that one time but something felt off, is like an aura or déjà vu which is weird explain, it was like I had been there before but how would I know if that had never happened before. Is hard to explain all I remember I felt weird but I didn't know exactly what, just some sort of electrical noise in my brain and my left arm had been going numb on and off and I have had that happen before from pure stress (this was when I would rarely drink about 6 years ago) i called someone and they brought to the ER cause I needed fluids in me with vitamins and in the waiting room after 2 hours I remember seeing flashing lights like lightnings going on and off, like a camara shooting every nano second then it all went black. I don't want to even know had I not been taken to the ER or DRIVEN myself I probably wouldn't be here. God is great! If anyone reads this, LISTEN to your body cause more than likely if the case is that you're an alcoholic there probably is something wrong about to happe. I pray for you all. Thanks again slay. You're strong and I'm happy that you're here to make these videos. And for all the people atruggling with this, even if you don't have someone to care for you and having to battle this on my own, you have people like slay ;) God bless you all.
