My uncle used to have a cabin not far from where you're standing ,camp coho.was fishing right where you're standing, 35years ago.fishing was good then but I think there was only 2 of us on the creek.
You weren't missing them...you gotta set then let them come unglue from the bottom. You were pulling the hook out of their mouths. Might take a few minutes sometimes, in the cold water...but they'll eventually come unstuck. Lol. 😊 Nice videos hope this helped. It took me awhile to understand this...but when I did...it's a neat thing. 🥳 The Gospel of John, sooner than later.❤️
Yes! Getting 3 or 4 inches here tonight. I'm ready. Charged the boat batteries the other day. Just have to get the motors started up. I'm ready for some crappies and early season eyes!
Pressured fish just makes you work to figure out alternative ways of catching them. You have to evolve with the increase in numbers of fisherman, but if you notice there are still anglers who continue to out-fish others simply because they were willing to evolve instead of complain. Might want to check out my Steelhead techniques video to find out how anglers have changed how they've fished for steelhead over the years due to increased pressure. Anyway, thanks for stopping by! I agree completely.. I quit fishing elk creek probably 15 years ago because of the “combat fishing” scenario.. just what is we need is another video to bring more tourists here .
@@robertschoeller5991 I don't really mind, people obviously have the right to fish public water. But videos like this, by people on an ego trip, bring the worst kinds of fisherpeoples. Crowd you, fish over your shoulder, kill every fish they catch, litter, defecate on peoples lawns, snag fish, ect, ect, ect.
fish-itis I'm pretty sure I can out fish you, I make a living guiding and running my boats in the summer. Maybe I can figure out your home waters and pressurize them and see how you like it. Oh, by the way, I have been fishing these waters for over 25 years and have changed tactics constantly....I just didn't need to make videos to overcompensate for small man syndrome.

I remember those days too. I was about 10 years old back then. Mostly coho and hardly any people around. My how things have changed!

Wow! Winter doesn't want to end in Northern Michigan.
Just what the most pressurized fish location on Earth needs....a fishing video.

Those who know they're wrong often turn to insults. Good fishing to you!
