Still the world's best sports car? Mazda MX-5 2024 review: New update for Subaru BRZ rival tested

The 2024 Mazda MX-5 has arrived, but don't expect wholesale changes to the iconic sports car. Instead, the MY24 model is an even further refined version of the fourth-generation formula, with the ND series continuing to go from strength to strength, this time with key updates that look to elevate the driving experience yet again.
So, what is new about the latest Subaru BRZ rival? If you opt for a variant with the six-speed manual gearbox, you get a new asymmetric limited-slip differential (LSD) and a more responsive accelerator pedal, while the top-spec GT RS grade scores a new dynamic stability control (DSC) mode designed for track work. There's also retuned electric power steering.

I've always preferred Mazda to Honda, I have a Mazda 6, my wife 3 and daughter 2.
I can't say anything for the new MX-5 but I always preferred driving the Honda 2 S2000 over the older MX-5, I'd like to try the new one
