As a VR enthusiast, I must say that Quest 3 has completely changed my gaming experience. Lightweight design and powerful performance are an impeccable combination!
one mega tip is that you can actually use USB-c drive on meta 3 aswell, just need total commander and a plug in. .. there is a free plugin from microsoft for total commander. .This way you can have all your videos on a 1 or 2 TB usb-c little pendrive:)
@@Shadows_101 thank you for this. I was planning g on returning my meta 3 tomorrow because it’s saw hard to retrieve recorded videos. Gallery tab isn’t available anymore on the meta app. And doesn’t work via a usb when I connected to my pc and mac. So I will try your method. Thank you.
@@luenicluke there is guides on youtube how to set it up.. its kinda easy.. :) i testet it and it worked.. but some of these guides tell to use exUSB something something.. thats a pay to have mod.. so i just used microsoft free one.. its under same download place some of these guides use.. apkpure site.

What you call PiP on youtube is youtubes minimize button so you can brows youtube while watching a youtube video, it dies not interact with your devices. You have that function on all browsers.

All of you listen up win you use the microfiber clothes to clean your lenses don't clean them to much because it can damage them. And if they are scratched don't use polywatch it doesn't work
That was a real good video with so many pro-tipps ! Thank you for sharing ! A little correction here ( Minute 3:26 ), direct sunlight on the lenses does not cause damage to the lenses ! ..... But it will damage your displays ! Seriously ! Exact like a burnmark when you use a magnifying glass with direct sunlight. It gets very, very hot at the focal point and that will damage your displays forever and that happens in seconds !!
They should add that travel mode to the hold down meta button menu, so when you want to move around the house you don't have to hold your windows to get them to follow you. I know I'm going to be using it for that

@@Kamtar34 I have it always enabled and never experienced such an issue with the Q3 so far. Keep in mind that all this mode does is to allow windows to be positioned above your head when you long-press the Oculus button and are looking towards the ceiling. If you don't do both at the same time, there is no difference so it's totally save to play.
As a 1st time user which one would you recommend, as to memory and speed? I know nothing about this other than i want one, and what accessories should i buy with it? Thanks for your time
Good overall advice, I've only just recently got my Q3 and some of these features seem to active already without having to go into experimental mode. The bit about how to move your windows around was most useful. One critiq on your video if I may, which I hope will improve future videos. I couldn't quite make out some of the things you were saying, maybe it's nerves or anxiety, but try not to mumble to much, maybe slow down and take a breath, pause, give the watcher time to absorb the information. Like I said, good tips and advice with no fluff. Thanks 👍
I am living in the eu and just got my Vision Pro for like a week, but the ecosystem isn’t good currently and meta imho is pushing a lot more in this area. Just bought the quest 3 and if it finally gets delivered tomorrow, I can compare those VR/MR devices.
@@GavinQuinainPRT The visuals are far better on the AVP, but there are currently only a handful of good apps/games. The App Store on the AVP is a pita, because the continuous scrolling doesn’t work and sometimes it just freezes. Currently I am using AppRaven on my IPhone to search for apps/games. The Quest 3 is imho far better for gaming, because you have a lot more games, but I get somehow motion sickness. I don’t get it on the AVP, but maybe it’s because I use the AVP more for consuming movies and stuff like that, where the environment is more static. I bet, within the next year meta and other companies (like dream with MR headset) will use similar displays and lenses, so the visuals look far better than the current iteration of these headsets. Let’s see what Apple is going to launch with their next iteration. Imho they need to make the device a lot lighter, because it’s to heavy right now. The price has to drop dramatically (around 1 to 1,5k). And I guess they shouldn’t completely drop the support for controllers, especially for games. I mean where is the problem to have a gesture based interaction for apps and stuff like that and for games an additional option to play with controllers. That would benefit all, even Apple themselves. They could make more money because they could sell their controllers (or other accessories).
We don't get voice commands in UK I don't think. it isn't in the settings anyway. It took ages for windows voice commands Cortana etc to reach europe but they got here eventually. So maybe quest voice commands will. I hate using them anyway. That picture in Picture thing you mentioned is just a youtube feature for the browser when on youtube. It won't run anywhere else. I have it on my desktop gaming PC. I don't know why voice commands is only in the US because American dialect is almost as varied as British English dialects.
So regarding this sunlight/UV light. @ 3:33 you are in a room with blinds open and clearly looks like daytime so you are getting "sun light" .No one seems to know if this means direct sunlight hitting the actual lenses or in a room with light from sun entering it. Only my theater room and after dark can I use it not in light from the sun. Cant really store it in my office sitting on the desk or open case, so for now keeping it in closet when not in use.
They are poorly made. the magnets fell out and I had to glue them back in. a month later another one fell out. They are too expensive. oh, you have to make sure you have the polarity right when gluing them back in. also the clarity is like having on two glasses. You need the enhancements they charge again to much.

Just got mine, love it. But I found the battery doesn't last long so I might need to invest in the additional battery that sits behind the headstrap.

What is wrong with my quest. If i look at my phone visual are so static that i cannot read anything on the phone.
