Thank you for your easy to follow along video. My son (13 years old) and I just made these caramel toffees and YES my house smells delicious! I went ahead and double the recipe because the cream I bought only came in one cup size so I didn't know what else to use it on so doubling up the ingredients work just fine. We can't wait to try them after they've cooled down.

We have to use fresh cream for thickness and milk doesn't give thickness milk will give a good taste but it will not provide thickness

Probably you added not enough Cream or too much sugar. You can try if it turns out better if you use a bit more liquid 😉
You need to get a candy thermometer. For chewy caramels, don't go over the softball stage, which is about 240 degrees Fahrenheit.
