Hi, Precious! I found your channel through your EMT video because I would like to become an EMT by the end of this year!
I am a CNA right now, and have been for four years but I need something different. I plan on becoming an RN but the program I want to get into, I won’t be able to apply until I take some classes and retake my A&Ps since it’s been more than 5 years.
I am truly inspired by your journey becoming a nurse, and you and your friends are GORGEOUS!!!!!! ❤ Thank you for sharing your journey with us.
Could you make an in depth video on how you went from EMT to RN? I saw that you moved to Florida, and it was an accelerated BSN program. Were you already a nurse, and then did the program, or did you have enough classes to get you right in the accelerated bsn program?
The program I would like to go for is an accelerated BSN but I don’t have to have my RN first. I can’t afford to not work, so I wanted to work as an EMT while in school for my BSN. Thank you so much!

@@kalaayers1591 Hi and thank you so much !!! ❤️ I went to U Albany and got my degree in public health with a minor in psychology and human biology. While in college I was a CNA and EMT (part time) after graduating from U Albany I went to U Miami for nursing school. I had enough credits to go right in because I studied science in undergrad. I did not work at all while being in an accelerated nursing program. After 1 year in that program I graduated and got my RN BSN.
Being an EMT while in an accelerated program may be tough depending on the schedule how busy the city you work in is and the amount of down time you have.
I wish you the best on your journey !! ❤️

@@preciousoriakhi Ok, that makes sense as far as your schooling! My program is accelerated but it’s two years so hopefully that’s not too bad. 🥴 I’ll probably just work part time as an EMT. Thank you so much for taking the time to respond! I’ve subscribed!! 💕
