As a CNA when you travel is this for hospital or LTC?

You're beautiful. You're right. Nursing has so many job opportunities. Impatient care, outpatient care, education, informatics, legal nursing, etc.FYI, if you don't like your current area of nursing, don't quit. Instead, change to another area of nursing. We need more nurses. Thank you

If I became a CNA for a year, but quit for a little while to work a different job, can you jump back into CNA work? Or would you need to get some kind of certification or take a test or something before?

Idk if this is a dumb question but what’s the difference between EMT/ EMS? do EMS go through the same schooling as EMTs?

Is there a length you need to be a CNA before traveling? And I’ve heard that on apps like Clipboard, you can take shifts that are urgently needed for $40-$60 or even $90/hour, but I’m curious how often that happens. I know on holidays the pay goes up, but how often every week will there be shifts like that that double in pay?

I believe nursing is hard. Guess what else is hard? Roofing, paving, digging ditches, construction, plumbing, laying tile, farm work, sanitation and cleaning Porta Potti's to name a few. (The latter literally takes sh*t as a profession.)

The truth is, the only reason I spent the way I did in my early nursing years was because I didn’t have debt from nursing school. After realizing I was spending too recklessly, I sold my Lexus SUV and started making better decisions with my money. This is so true.

Ive worked with some great CNAs that deserve every penny of their hard work! I started as a dialysis tech and now a nurse (best decision made). Everyones path is different. You decide what works best for you and thrive in it!

Im an RN and is now contemplating leaving my job, the unsafe patient to nurse ratios, the politics, its toxic, the older nurses eat their young and i dread going to work my calling out is increasing and i feel relief when i call out and not have to go in. I love being a nurse but this place was taking the joy out of it for me.

No lies told. Been traveling as CNA since 2020 and the money is good. Keep in mind that the higher paying contracts usually have the hardest assignments at times. Once you get used to it its not bad. We have to endure grunt work anyway so why not get paid for it. Im currently in school for nursing as well and because of travel $$ I can take off when i need to for studying and ect. So true. Good video. I work at the hospital and it’s true. Nurses have these expensive BMW’s, Lexus, Audi’s you name it. The doctors none of them drive such Vehicles They Doctors i’ll have their own parking lot floor and they have , Chevy Tahoe, or they drive a Hondas lol. No lie!!. It’s amazing.
