Wonderful! This will help complete our potty journey. We've been having accidents again.

@AndreaOlson That's exactly what I'll be doing. Probably getting the potty book because we own the EC book and we completed it when he was closer to 2.

How can we do this as working parents. I like the easy catches. Those help a lot. My husband works out of the home and I work in the home. We have 3 boys and I'm in 2nd trimester with our first girl. Our boys are 3, 2 and 1. Our 3 year old is usually pretty good however when in his bedroom he wets or poops in his pull up. He shares a room with his 2 year old brother and I don't 2ant to put the potty in their room because I worry they would play with it. They are in their room that is baby/kid proofed so they're safe until lunchtime and then the 3 year old and 2 year old go downstairs and have lunch and play there for the rest of the day. Our 3 year old can go to the potty on his own pretty much if we remind him or ask him if he needs a potty break. But he doesn't always stop playing to go when we aren't in the room.

And our 2 year old probably asks to go potty about 70% of the time when he has to go and sometimes when he doesn't and it ends up being a practice run which we don't mind of course.

Potty Training requires at least 3-4 dedicated days at home - preferably with both parents there or some additional helper (grandmother, aunt, friend etc...) usually people start on a long weekend when they have some extra time off.

Okay. I'm desperate at this point. I have a 21 month old who is refusing the potty. I've given him access to the potty, privacy in the bathroom alone with the potty and he is still refusing to use the potty. So much so that I'll put him in the bathroom and tell him put your pee in the potty. (He knows how to sit on the potty) During his time alone in the bathroom, he doesn't go, but I'll keep him naked and he'll almost instantly pee after being offered private potty time. He's 21 months and we're trying this again after a full reset with diapers and no pottying for two weeks. He still seems to have ZERO awareness or care of when he's peeing or pooping. He wants to keep playing regardless. HELP
