Hey! I dunno if i had anything to do with this but i suggested cutting these and getting your take on em. I absolutely love my Yeezys. My first pair I ran to the ground and they held up very well for 3 years. I did landscaping in them and they were my only shoes for that whole time. Never had an issue with odor or rips and tears. I guess if anything, the sole did start to flake away but again, thats after years of wear. Boost is beyond amazing and i will always br a champion for it. I understand the price is a little high but it had to be for Kanye to start to sell them. The hope is that after his contract with Adidas ends, they will be more accessable. "Yeezys for everyone"

Not a fan of yeezys, but Ultraboosts are great! No hype anymore (can be bought easily), the un-incased boost foam is more comfy, and they're half the cost brand new! But can be found really cheap at times too.

I had a pair of 350’s in Oxford tan and I live in Scotland. I once wore them to the office on a day it snowed so heavy the buses were cancelled and I had to walk about 9 miles home through snow in them. Water got in between the harder exterior rubber and the boost foam and froze and expanded and f**ked them up. The harder rubber hit was ok but the foam crumbled on the sole so I ended up using them like slippers at home. The 380’s are a bit more sturdy but if you have wide feet the cage bit at the forefoot to help them keep their shape isn’t as comfortable after a few hours of wearing plus the padding just inside the heel is unnecessary.

Can you find other sneakers that are so comfortable in the same level or higher, and to looks good and have that view from side people who do not have them, - hard to find. My conclusion - if you have money, go for it. If not have, save - Your body will pay you off later on.

I.m.o, regarding the problem with sweat being absorbed "into the foam sole" I would say that is quite unlikely... unless/until You wear down the "cell walls" of the CloseCelled Foam that they are made of, after which the "damaged cells" will possibly absorb some moisture . Which is why the cells that You had "cut in half" were "susceptible to moisture ingress", but that is NOT the "normal behaviour" of CloseCelled foam!!.
That said I would not buy these shoes for more reasons than I can count on my appendages...

Pretty biased or overly dramatic content...
These sneakers are really solid. The knit is very effective against bruises and no one is going to cut them like that, so it will never come apart like that. I've been abusing 350s for years and they still look pretty new, it's actually really surprising. Yes the rubber midsole have some normal scratches, but the knit is good as new. Just want to also point out that I walk on dirt, grass, wtv, I don't hold back. I dark ones and mx ones, but I can imagine that white ones get dirty faster, as every white shoe ever. Also, although it LOOKS minimalistic, the knit has SO MANY details, you need to price all the research that went through to get to that knit and to the boost.

I love these shoes, and I have to emphasise how little I like athletic rubber shoes. I'm mostly a leather boots guy, but I have a couple pairs of fake yeezys 350s because of how good they look. Everything about them is modern but with a more robust aesthetic that's reminiscent of boots. They're ankle shoes to be sure but the way the heel tab and tongue pop up looks sick. The only other sneakers I wear are the puma black suede ones with the gum sole. Only other sneakers my girl approves of (she got them for me).

Hey Weston. Though I would get your opinion on sizing on the Yeezy 350 v2 you reviewed. Some say order your size, others a 1/2 size up and other a full size up. Your opinion? Thanks

Talking about adidas ZX. Why don't you cut some Torsion ZX shoe in half to see exactly what's in there? What about the Torsion Bar...is it still kevlar or some fake plastic? What about the Soft Cell cushion in the back? Is it real is it fake...(well it's obviously fake these days^^) and what about the sole? Is it EVA or even bOOst? Best test object would be any lately released adidas ZX 8000 model.
