I had one of these about 10 years ago. I had it for about 6 years. I had no issues at all with it. I was gutted when I sold it. Never let me down. 😭

80 mpg.
Mine is 9 years old and looks like new no rusty Nuts and bolts.(only exhaust connectors under bike showing a bit of rust )
Never let me down
,starts every time.
Cheap insurance.
24 BHP is enough for a bit of wind therapy 👍
70mph is 70 mph on any bike.
Great fun going through the gears to get potential out of the engine when needed.

Ha gr8 comment. 70 mph top speed is perfectly fine as long as a) you're not wringing the bike's neck and b) it's not so small so you feel like a tit riding it.
Own a 2013. Had in three years. Starts first time every time. Great fun to throw around. Only has 22 or 24 bhp but has twin long stroke piston's. So plenty of torque thats great. Hasting is anything off the seafront is big hills. Even two up it pulls really well. The EU demanded ABS brakes. So Suzuki stopped building them. A shame because they built a quality budget bike in this. Plus you can get 80 miles per gallon if commuting wisely.
Great bikes. Very underrated
Suzuki used the same engine in the 250 DE V strom twin Adventure style bike that uses the same frame . They sold in the U.K. from 2018 for a couple of years . I bought a demo in mint condition. It is built in China & is built just as good & 100 % reliable as Suzukis built in Japan . It has ABS brakes ,the engine & gearbox is smooth & it handles well ,it has enough power for everyday real world riding & can cope with the odd stretch of motorway . The Inazuma has a more comfortable seat ,than the other Suzukis with same engine . The Inazuma is probably comparable to the old 1980 Honda Superdream 250 twin ,which sold like hot cakes & was a very capable everyday bike . Defiantly worth a look as a second bike or if downsizing from a larger capacity bike due to age or health or even economy reasons . Good revue 👍

@@GillyBikes The problem is the British motorcycle media hypes up speed & horsepower . Also there seems to be some notion that riders who have an A 2 licence should get the most horse power allowed . Hence bikes like these 250 ‘s tend to get overlooked ,but they are more capable than the specifications suggest . They will also do what larger capacity bikes will do 80 % of the time., I haven’t missed owning the larger bikes once since purchasing the Suzuki V strom 250 DE with same inazuma engine .

Thanks for the review. Every thing is fine but its a little bit sorry, that you don't show us the the odometer/speedometer during your drive.
I am interested in knowing in wich gear, at which speed and revolution the bike can be driven.

Check for corrosion on exhaust system underneath on an old bike.
I didn’t notice any on this but corrosion comes to every bike at some point. 🥹
Still have my 2013 in metal flake black. Runs as good as new. Here in the Western United States you must have a freeway capable bike as sometimes you can't avoid it getting from one byway to another. I must have thought about selling it a thousand times but with age and injuries I truly appreciate the low seat and low weight distribution. I wouldn't think of selling it now just wish it had belt drive. I hate chain maintenance. The Inazuma wasn't a hit in the US where bigger is always better in peoples minds, but I enjoy it's uniqueness and most people don't believe it is only a 250. It has 27 hp in US spec but you have to rev the nuts off of it to get it. It is designed for high rev operations. But coming from a V-twin I had a lot of difficulty adjusting to revving her up. Brake-in felt like it took forever and you maxed out at 45 mph. Likely very few of these were broken in properly but I have had mine since new. I have been tempted by the new Royal Enfield 350's but reports are they lack power for the highway, A road to you. Technology is allowing small displacement bikes to make power numbers impossible just a few decades ago. Midweight bikes like the new Kawasaki 450 Eliminator make all the power you could need and easily take you up to 90 mph. I know you get a lot of Chinese brand bikes there in the UK, but here their reputation is crap. Zero quality, no or improper warranty service and zero resale value. My advice is to stay away from them and spend a little extra for a bike like this.
The 250 engine in these seem to have more power than the royal Enfield 350’s. But the meteor and classic look good. My favourite though has to be the Hunter. That seems to have more power than the other two. You should definitely check one of those out. Only little bikes but so much fun.
The Suzuki Inazumas 250 ‘s are built in China to Suzukis specifications . Most modern motorcycle manufactures ,including the big names like Harley ,Honda ,Yamaha ,BMW ,& many others ,source parts ,engines & even full motorcycles built by Chinese factories . The Chinese can build to any quality specifications required by customers,they have the latest manufacturing technology .

Seems a decent bike for the money 👍 what’s your thoughts on the gsx 1250? A bigger jump but I’m thinking cruiser power and comfort thanks.
I’ve never ridden one but I hear good things. Supposedly very good and comfortable for long distance riding.

Apart from the front mudguard that you mentioned already, yeah that's a decent looking bike and for the price, a good buy. I got my CBT under my belt a few weeks ago and bought a second hand Blueroc Legend, it was sub £2k which was my budget really and i didn't like any of the Japanese 125s. I know i might have bought into a heap of trouble but at the same time, I'm gonna learn bike maintenance pretty darn quick 😂 I know a few videos have mentioned that 125s are fun, but I'm finding it slow and tiresome already, 55mph being the most it'll do in ideal conditions at high revs gets annoying. Can't wait to get a midrange size bike already 😂 i really wished they'd rethink the cc restrictions for older "learners", not because i want to speed everywhere, but just keep up with traffic or not create traffic in the first place 😮
Everyone goes through the same. Me included. If all you ride is a 125 then you quickly get used to the speed, and it does seem to run out of it quickly. You don’t really notice if you are just riding on 30mph roads but as soon as you hit the faster roads you will always wish for more power. however there are some 125’s that will get up to 70mph. I’ve had that out of my Benelli TNT. It took a while to get there though. I’m sure it won’t be long before you get something bigger.
@@GillyBikes I live on the edge of the Peak District seems to be mostly 50mph roads , just about in my range, until a hill. That's why it's the Peak District 🤣 I did consider a BN125 briefly, wish I had now 🙄
That front mudguard is certainly not the worst I've ever seen and unlike a lot of other bikes will actually do the job 😊
Good bikes think the 250 strom uses the same engine,
I own a 63 plate excellent bike any body that owns one quick tip remove and replace stock exhaust and replace it with a full stainless steel system all so remove and replace front and rear mudguards replace rear with tail tidy and front with the sv650 front replace stock brake pads with synetex install belle pan from the sv650 upgrade head light with full hdi light and replace stock tyres for set of Goodrich all wether.happy riding

Excelente video tuve varias motos de todo tipo de marcas hasta una honda gl 1100 pero siempre usadas hoy con 63 años tengo una meteor 350 la primera 0km ya con 10.500 km pero creó ire por una inazuma e visto videos de algunas con más de 100 mil km será cierto logico dandoles el mantenimiento debido aparte acá en Argentina no se ven muchas mejor para los ladrones no la buscan, gracias por el video saludos hasta cualquier momento lo mejor para ustedes.

Probably the most underrated bike of all time. Cheap because they are ugly but very very good build quality. Had one years ago and traded it in missed it since so bought another one end of last year. Still brilliant. Incredibly underrated
I totally agree. I think the looks put people off. They put me off to be honest but then I had a go on this one and then you just don’t care about the looks. Such a nice bike to ride, built to last. Being underrated does help keep the price down though so for anyone buying one it’s a good thing 👍
@@GillyBikes examples of these doing over 100,000 miles in Japan. Top speed around 87mph, just the smoothest suspension this side of a 1200. Not the highest to handle but somehow itll slice corners off rather than going around them. If they made a retro version now it would sell alright, up against the hunter 350 and benelli.

Suzuki did the QC on these. I read they shipped the first several of them to Japan and they were inspected and dissembled and all tolerances checked. You really are getting a Japanese bike assembled in China.

I like the look of it. It's 600cc bike size. Not the typical chop down 250cc size. I'm 6f1 and don't feel like a clown on a Circus bike on it.
HUGE shame you didn't take outside of a 30mph zone bc this tells us absolutely nothing about the chassis /brakes/ engine characteristics of this bike. This is the equivalent of looking at a girl walking down the street - against dating her for a time ... 12 mins wasted
