I have a question. I'm a web designer, and I create Google business profiles for most of my clients using my Gmail account. Currently, I have over 50 listings in my Gmail account. Lately, I've noticed that when I add a new listing, Google suspends it and requests a lot of unnecessary information. What are your suggestions for avoiding this? Some suggest creating a new Gmail account for each client, adding their business profile there, and then transferring ownership to the business owner.
I always create a Gmail account specifically for the client and set myself as the manager. So if the client decides to leave all i need to do is hand over the access and remove myself from the listing
I've never setup a clients business on my own Google account. Nearly everyone has a Google account already. I get them to create the listing with my basic advice and then I get them to add me as manager so I can maximise that listing for them.
@@GaryBox I think this is the best option but unfortunately most of my clients knows nothing at all. This Google business profile is affecting my web design Services. I wish one day there is a proper solution for this.
What should be the home page optimized with ? The primary keyword for example lets say Pest Control or the services keywords. Reason to ask is because google usually prefer showing the home page for local businesses rather than service pages or blogs
Optimise your home page with your main service keyword which is usually what your Google Business primary category is. In the example of the video, the home page of the business should be optimised for "beauty salon"
Thanks for the tips. In the case of a real estate agent would you recommend niching down to a specific area and optimize both website and GBP for the localized keyword or would you optimize the kw «real estate agent» and do location pages on the website?
There isn't a specific recommended number, as long as they provide value. However, in practice, most popular questions typically amount to around five.
Hello sir im a plumber and i created a business profile 1 month ago and im thinking on buying you 1-1 service but dont know which option best fits me what is your recommendation?
If you have a website this one will be best: rankingacademy.co.uk/indepth/ If you only have a google business profile then go for this one: rankingacademy.co.uk/google-business-profile-audit/
Even though you're a Service Area Business (SAB), you still used a physical address to verify your listing. Google will rank your listing based on that address, and depending on the competition and your industry, your listing's visibility will be limited to a certain radius. In larger metropolitan areas, this could mean only ranking within a few blocks. This makes it nearly impossible to rank a single listing across multiple cities or states. Keep in mind, Google Business Profile (GBP) is designed for local businesses, not national ones. To rank in multiple cities or states, you'll need separate GBP profiles for each location.
You will need to have a physical address to set up your GMB profile and I don't know yet you have already set up one because I'm still looking for a way to create one
Hey luc team, I was watching your GMB optimization video which published in 2022. As an example, you had showed "Leapfrog Web design" agency. My question, isn't it in Vertual Business Catagory? Why that GMB has a specific physical address? Isn't it breaks google GMB guidelines?
As of today, google is no longer allowing us to update categories or services without an address in maps. So, it will not let us update these settings in our google profile. Not sure if, it's affecting anyone else yet but, it is us as of today..
Hello Sir, I have a question. My profile is verified properly, but I would like to add extra keywords in front of my business name like specific business category or service, either separated by a hyphen or in brackets, to improve ranking. Is this possible, or would it be against the guidelines? I would appreciate your guidance. Thanks
Still a very good indication of what the most searched questions are. Alternatively you can do this manually and search directly for your keyword on Google in your country. The top questions will be the most popular ones. You just won't see any data.

Hello 👋 I have you optimize the home page and your website

Always optimize for local keywords

There isn't any "virtual" categories. A webdesign agency can also be a brick and mortar office people can visit

It's against the guidelines. If you do this there is a risk your listing is suspended
