I noticed that the coolant lines on these cars are overly complicated and can be simplified. You guys should make a kit that simplifies everything while bypassing the throttle body. Great video!
Great video! I have a pretty silly and obvious question though...was just wondering at 5:43 I assume you added more coolant to the funnel? because I didn't see in the video :/ thanks!
I was stuck on keeping mine stock or buying a billet bleeder from z1 or czp. I like how this one (z1) has a slotted screw that doesn't have to come all the way out and seeing as it's a new revision and this video was recently uploaded I'm gonna buy one from z1 right now. Wish I never flushed my coolant in the first place
@@spideybuildscars because it can be a nightmare. Currently in a parking lot bleeding there system after my thermostat failed and I had to get another one while out here
Thanks for the Squeeze top Rad hose tip! Been struggling with getting the last 5% air out of the system, one big squeeze after bleeder drain and burped it up! Thank you.
Thank you for the amazing video. Clear and precise instructions You have absolutely put an amzing video for US to learn from. I plan to do this process first thing in the morning. Very welll done my friend.
They probably have to do this with the de because it’s known to have sport for air pockets to form, which are a bitch to bleed. You can bleed the HR the traditional jack the front of the car up way.
Definitely looks like a custom gauge cluster. Different font, NISMO logo, KPH missing, etc. Looks to me like the work of MisterPatchbay (name of his TH-cam channel), but I could be wrong. Unfortunately, he hasn't posted a new video in 2 years, and his website domain expired and is currently not secure. He did some pretty awesome custom clusters though! Wish I would have known and got one myself. That looks badass.
i did a vhr engine swap on my 350z, does anyone know if it would make a difference if my bleeder valve is on the other heater hose (driver side) when it come to bleeding the system?
After 3 weeks of off and on overheating problems, YOU solved it with this video! 🙏
Of an on as in one day it’ll be fine and next overheat? 😂 I’m with the same issue right now

This car is nuts in person.

i was wondering this too, maybe he just added some water?

Why you wish you never flushed it?
Always a great thing to do.

@@801speed5 it’s still better to flush all the old stuff out.
As for bleeding it, rev it to 3000 rpm to help get pockets out.
I hate bleeding the DE
Oh nice you updated the bleeder screw. Is the thread pitch the same for the older Z1 bleeders? If it is, can I purchase just the screw?

Try vacuum filling the cooling sysrem. Works perfect on first try, no oberheating issues. Saves time.
Thank you for the amazing video.

Very welll done my friend.
So what if you bypass that how do we bleed the heater core & get the rest of the air out
I’ve yet to see another Z with my strut tower brace, I wished mine looked like that though, mine was painted and dented prior to me owning it lol
Would this be the same exact process for HR motors?

Did you change the bulb color for your gauges or is that a whole new gauge?

Couldn’t you just leave the no spill funnel on ?
Not related to the topic but what specific color and color code is the Z ?
“Ultra yellow” (K25) [2005 350Z 35th Anniversary edition exclusive color]

yep, it’s on the passenger side for a reason because it’s the highest point in the system
Does the q50 3.7 have a bleeder valve? I can’t find any info about this online. Any help Is appreciated.
It doesn’t have one, Z1 has a bleeder for it that replaced the heater hose connector that’s known to break.
@@spideybuildscars appreciate the answer I’ll look into that.
