This is a good practical car. One of the most popular cars in 2000s. But 90PS is good mostly for city driving.
Theres also 109 hp 1.6 tdci.
In what way? I have 307 1.6 hdi 90 non DPF model and pulls strongly to 190kmh

@@TheInchii hi it’s the same 1.6 16v DV6 engine fitted in the fords and Peugeots then they changed them all to 1.6 8v 115hp and later the 1.5 Engine
@@TheInchii It is the same unit Ford & PSA shared their diesel engines from the mid 00s up until recently.

What MPG are people getting? I'm getting 53 extra urban with no town driving which I don't think I'd that good. I think mine has been remapped in the past though as it feels like. 110/120hp diesel rather than a 9p

Yes. It's 1.6 HDI.
All Ford diesel engines are actually Peugeot engines.

In the Peugeot 307 1.6 hdi 90 doesn’t come with DMF or DPF but 110hp does Ford Focus may be different

My 2011 Transit Connect has 90 PS 240 Nm and still 0-100 kmh takes 16.7 s.Even though are same weight like this.Probably boxy look bad aerodynamics.

Why do you drive a car in first and second gear at 3000 rpm, the engine "screams" there is no need to change at high revs, everyone changes to 2000-2300
Diesel engines aren't supposed to be driven at 2000 rpm. That's how the carbon builds up in the engine. It doesn't matter if it "screams", you're only supposed to drive it gently when the engine is running under the 90 degree temp
@@ArtanisG. Yes and no, actually. A lot of automatic diesels can change gears well below 2000 rpm, and that's why they are economical. Diesel engines can run smoothly and have plenty of torque at low rpms. I agree with you that a little "spirited" driving every now and then is good. Not always, though. :)
@@tommasomanzali7847 the only reason you can change gears below 2000 rpm is because of the turbo. Without it, it will barely move on its own. And diesel ignites through compression, not spark (compared to petrol), thus running a bit cooler and helping with the low consumption.
@@tommasomanzali7847 everything below 2000rpm will kill all components around the engine due to vibrations already spoken with so many car mechanics about it, I have myself Mondeo MK4 titanium s 2.2tdci within map to 240km never go belowe 2000rpm
I remap this model. To 125hp and 320nm. Its run like litle rocket
