From 2002 and on, after the facelift, these cars became of much better quality. The ones built after 2002 are far more reliable than the ones before 2002.
@@piotrnapora5810 my friend drives an S-type now with more than 300.000kms on the clock. It's the 2.5 V6. Never had any problems with it. Way better than my Mercedes E Class from the same year that breaks down all the time.

Both are automatic I like both of them and it shall be my first car so I have no experience with cars yet. What are your experiences with driving the cars and what do you think about the interior as a practicality based on the drivers point of view and if you have a passenger in front. Thank you
Maaan! I had the ‘03 3.0v6 with the 6 spd auto and i was so into it i still miss it, but this one is quiet crappy. Once i drove a 1st gen (x200)like this with the 4.0v8 5spd auto and it felt like a totally different car. It was faster but every other thing wasn’t as nice as it was in my car. Watching this video i feel like the 6 spd automatic is much better than a 5 spd manual. I also missed all the amenities what i had in mine like heated leather memory seats, auto dimming mirror, entry/exit assistant, electronic and automatic park break staff like that..
If You change at 5500rpm it's normall that car to take the 0-100in 12-13 seconds,what the top speed 233km/h ok that jaguar it's broken,my jaguar s type V6 top speed it's 280
I just can't like this car. Outside it's somewhat interesting, but inside it is just a wood-leather trimmed Ford Mondeo or something like that, gauge cluster even looks like Opel one

It’s probably broken. Seems too slow. It should easily be able do 0-100 around 7 seconds

not really... Ford 3.0 Duratec has 203 hp in general and top up 225 for the Mondeo III ST. Then for the Mondeo IV ST it came with 240 hp renewed one.

They updated the interior in 2002 bc it was criticized. To me the old interior resembles American Fords.
