Working on my pieces now. Trying to order mostly from HBG. Have a few questions for sure - for example motorized versus mechanized infantry. Plan on using AA 1940 pieces for mechanized. But not sure what to do for motorized? Don’t see any motorized markers on HBG either. So would love to know what you are doing for that one.

I also got a couple of Russian sets; www.historicalboardgaming.com/Battle-Pieces--Russia-Early-War--Complete-Set_p_689.html Again, lots of what you need plus they're all on sale. Watch my upcoming videos and I'll show you exactly how I did it.

Hey, I accidentally ordered some Yank pieces from HGB in dark green insteada olive drab, could ya PUHLEEASE recommend the correct O.D. paint to match the O.O.B. O.D.? Also the correct U.K. tan paint since I wanna paint some of the P-51s U.K. tan so the Yanks can lend lease 'em to the U.K. (the Merlin engines were a British design after all!) when they develop long range fighters. Thanks, 'n I look forward to delving inta Global War with ya!
For the Americans I'm using Tamiya TS-28 Olive Drab 2. It's not quite the same as OOB though it's a bit darker. You can see what it looks like in this video where you see the planes. The UK is Tamiya TS-46 Light Sand and it's a close match.

That would be great, right now its confusing as hell where to go, and what kind of cost we are looking at. But if I had some reliable sites like you said..... I would definitely be interested as would my friends.
I got it at Lowe's Hardware. It's called Valspar Outdoor. The colour isn't listed on the can but you can tell by the sprayer. There's no lid it's got a sprayer that turns to open or close. It's an anti-rust paint. You don't need a primer because it already has one. I wish I would've used this type for Japan too but I went with Rustoleum which turned out to be really thick.
Yo Joe! I have a paint problem as well, I mentioned it in the comments of one of yer paintin' videos, but I don't remember which one... cannabis is legal here in Oregon... helps me paint, LOL! Anywaaay, I ordered some Yank pieces from HGB in dark green insteada olive drab 'n I gotta know the right shade of O.D. paint to match the O.O.B. O.D. 'n I also gotta know the right shade of U.K. tan to match the O.O.B U.K. tan since I wanna paint some Mustangs U.K. tan (the Merlin engines were a British design after all!) so the Yanks can lend lease 'em to the British as long range fighters once they get the Tech. Really diggin' all the paintin' videos in the community, they're inspirin' me to paint, although I'm gonna focus on aircraft a lot sense I suffer from "wing envy".
CM has good stuff. I have most of the decals, a few painted pieces and will check out the naval bases when they come out.
