This is funny and timely. I've been bitten by the 6mm bug recently as well and just chucked a brick of cash at GHQ for German armor and infantry circa 1942 with Case Blue in mind. No one else in my area is interested in painting the little guys so eventually I'm going to have to do the Russians as well. Agree on the GHQ quality. What they can do with figures that small is kind of mind blowing. They were the first miniatures I bought way back in, well never mind how long ago. I caught the review of Fistful of Tows 3 on LittlewarsTV and so that's what I'll be using as well.
I’ve just about finished my own home brew set of micro armour ww2 rules. They’re being desk top published over the next few weeks. Been playing mostly ww2 in 6mm for the last 2 years! I hope you enjoy the scale as much as I have! I do like the ww2 infantry from Adler though. They’re slightly large for the ghq vehicles but the extra detail is really worthwhile imho.
sounds cool. I really do love the 6mm stuff. I was thinking the other day it because I can spend more time on terrain than on miniatures. plus the grand scale of it all.
My 1/300 are all from the 1970s. They are blobs in comparison. They look fine from a distance but turrets are molded on. No rotation and extremely minimal detail. Not going to buy a bunch of new armies, as I have several thousand from that era and replacing them now would be heart breaking

I agree. I just ordered some Baccus WWII. So in a month or so I can do a comparison. From the ACW troops it looks like they might be a bit beefy compared to GHQ. I doubt you'll be able to mix GHQ and Baccus Infantry.
Interested in doing FFT3 for a battle in the Pacific, Tarawa or Iwo Jima beach landings mostly. But main point, what size bases are you using? Thank you!!
@@Garuda5 the company is located in Minnesota I live a couple states south of there so it did not take long receive. they have typically shipped it out within a week. so every order I have placed has showed up at my door with in two weeks.
I still game with my GHQ purchased and painted in the 70s and 80s. Great product then and even better now!

Infantry are on 3/4" base. Vehicles are on a variety of sizes.
Im rconfused, GHQ is 1/285 and Baccus is 1/300. So why are Baccus larger than GHQ, surely it should be the other way round?

GHQ is 1/285 and baccus is 1/300, its not to bad on the table though.
agreed for infantry but I think the vehicles show the scale difference a bit to much for my taste.
