And the miniatures aren’t bad either.
Marcus Hinton died in 1988 in his mid-fifties. So he is only in his thirties in this movie.
His wife's name was (or is) Cynthia and she was a former artists' model.

Note that I checked her hands to estimate her age.

I started collecting Hinton Hunt 25mm back in 1970. Still have them. Now, I collect 15mm...over 10,000 at this point. Great hobby...it never gets old

@@martonk there is a pretty famous painting of that scene to be fair and it was a defining moment in the battle, very surprised the narrator couldn’t see it
If it wasn't for the French opponents I would not have dismissed the idea of a frontier fort. That wall did not really appear to be part of a solid Brabantian farm such as Hougoumont or la Haie Sainte. Soil is too dry, too sandy also.

The closest I ever came to this was 1980s Battletech, with about 50 figures on a topographical table. The hobby shop owner had it set up in a back room for Waterloo, as he was a big old school war gamer, so he played these type games, they took days. Much beer and arm chair history.
Those were top-of-the-line in the 60s. Today, most collectors and painters turn their noses up at them. I collect them, though, along with Staddens, Rose, and other figures made back then. They still paint up nicely.

I still have his book from 1966.
When the set designer goes nuts!
Producer:"yeah, we're going to put these decorations in place."
Manufacturer: "But, I just look at the books"
Producer: "It'll look cooler than your warehouse, ok.
Also do you have larger miniatures?"
Manufacturer: "Most of the time i sell 15 maybe 25mm scaled figures"
Producer: "Psssst, the camera cant pick up 25 millimeters!"
and so the 50mm range was born
We have some beautiful crafts, I grew up collecting Hornby trains and I still keep them around.
The days when a gentleman dressed in tie, waistcoat and jacket to work on his figures. They had standards back then.

It would be awesome and cool with battle sets and and paintings.
The music is "Wellington's Victory". I still have the album; on the other side was "1812 Overture". Both have real cannons and muskets being fired! The irony being that Beethoven hated royalty and originally named it for Napoleon - until he claimed the crown for himself. But it took about a decade before the British (or anyone else) beat the French (Talavera, I think).
"Here's a British frontier fort under siege"... Love it. Unusually for a journalist, he got it completely wrong.
Probably just reading from a script without seeing the film.
I got lucky and found a 5 pound bag of them but they weren't made by them and weren't that detailed. It costed me like $70 for that!

Warhammer 40 miniaturees wich are unpainted and you need to build yourself= 60 euro or dollars

Its called robbing, very simple
you can still make them yourself if you buy lead and melt it. But there are other alternativs like tin, otzer metals or resin.
I found quite a few on Ebay. Available from the USA (could be from the company that bought some of the moulds) or the UK (probably original).
@Timothy Branford , Sir you can buy molds for these figures from Prince August Molds or you can now get them 3D printed in resin.

And this still happens. I just got a couple of sets that offer horned helms as options. Now there are enough heads to ignore those and every thing else seems accurate, but why?
From the clothing, the severed head, etc. -- more likely that they're supposed to be Gauls
They are Celtic warriors. One wears a La Tene cuirass and the other wears the "Belgic" horned helmet from the Thames.
