  • Huzzah!
Recently I backed the Microworld Games 6mm Fantasy Crusader Kingdom Kickstarter (www.kickstarter.com/projects/...) - and not only did it arrive... it arrived early!!
So I couldn’t resist putting together a little video for you guys that also dabble in Small Hammer!
    Thanks,
    Ben

With a lot of 28mm companies turning to skirmish, 6mm is becoming a last bastion of large battle games. Microworldgames is probably the best for 6mm fantasy IMO. Great video, really enjoyed this.

10mm “Travel” Blood Bowl - how is that NOT a thing???
You could do stadiums, crowds, even scenery - it could be like a Fantasy Subbuteo sorta thing!

There is a studio that makes 10/15mm BB miniatures but they have only made undead atm.

@@BoneheadPodcast Yea he just got back to me, turns out I'm pretty far down the list so I'll have to wait a little while longer. Though if the quality of the miniatures is on par with the rest of their stuff (which I have no doubt it is) then I don't mind waiting a little longer. I painted up a whole undead army from them earlier this year for warmaster and I have to say, they may be some of the nicest 6mm minis I've seen, an amazing amount of detail and they're fairly chunky as well so they're a real joy to paint up and don't suffer as much from the spindly, easily bent or broken legs you can find on lots of 6mm historical figures.

Oh awesome!! I love the undead miniatures from them 😍 one of my regular opponents had a gorgeous army of them!

Me and the fam used to play DBM a 15mm historical (classical to medieval) war game, it was tonnes of fun! Small hammer sounds interesting if you can share any rules deets? :D

Haha Hey Stephen!! Honestly it was just the WFB 6th edition rules, with each base of infantry being 10 guys, and cavalry being 5! It worked so well!!
      I love 15mm too!!

Hey! I think Kings of War for small scale battles works great, but the classic Warmaster isn’t too bad either!
Most of my 6mm games have been using Warhammer 6th edition rules though! And they’ve been amazing haha
