I've attempted to make this clear in the video, but I'd like to reiterate this once more: Please do not use my videos as an excuse to harass the Death Battle crew. These videos were made for me to comment on how I feel about their series, and my disagreement of how they handled the battle, information, and their Q&A. There is no reason for anyone to be negative or hostile towards them just because I disagree with their logic and ideology on their animations. - Kuro

While you're logic is somebody who can spread across an entire timeline in one Universe would beat up somebody who can fight the entire embodiment of will in the DC Multiverse who can arrest God. You also completely ignore that Hal speed blitzes astronomically scales a much larger Multiverse and that the entire DC Comics brand is convolutedly connected doesn't matter if Green Lantern is a composite character because he would still have all those traits in the main Canon at his best.
You're really an idiot beyond comprehension I absolutely can't believe you would think that they made that entire Q&A for one TH-camr instead of all the people leaving comments on their video you must think you're the only Ben 10 fan in the world just wow that's vain self-absorbed and petty AF.
You can make a composite character but even so it's not much stronger than Alien X and you were a complete asshole to The credibility of the writers calling him a fanboy even though he's more interested in vampire anime if you had a debate with this guy he would school you like you were a 5th Grader obsessed with his favorite cartoon. I have no disrespect towards Ben 10 I respect the series and its fans but the writing in the material just isn't there to keep up with the acid trips that DC wrights for Green Lantern and all their characters.
I hope you don't make it big as a writer I wouldn't want me or anyone else to have to work with somebody who flat out disrespects other authors work.

About composite Ben, he’s built using Death Battle logic for combination. Ben is 1/4th Anodyte. Gwen is also 1/4th Anodyte. By Death Battle composite logic, Ben additionally has all of Gwen’s powers.

He may be part Anodite, but i believe according to Verdona he "didn't have the spark" so maybe he just didn't have the right genes active or whatever.
Also the Ben who used magic was Ultimate Ben, and i would hardly call it mastering it. We saw him put up a single force field, that's it. He said "You hang around an Anodite for 20 years you pick up a few tricks" so he might be able to use a few spells at best, but that's about it.

I'm not a fan of either Ben 10 or Green Lantern and therefore didn't know a lot about either character's feats going into this Death Battle. However, one thing really rubbed me the wrong way, and that's the use of time travel. To my understanding (I could be wrong), time travel works with multiverse theory in both the Ben Ten and DC universes. So why does going back in time to kill Ben count as winning the fight? Green Lantern is killing a completely different Ben than the one he was fighting.
This goes both ways too, had Ben won through time travel I'd be saying the same thing.

And what's worse, is that Hal was only able to go FOWARD in time.

Actually, another thing that alien x can do, and that's reversing time, not time traveling (he can do that btw) but rewinding time
And why does the fight last for 2 minutes anyway? Shouldn't it last for like 2 seconds considering hal is time travelling and killing ben as he's about to transform

Alien x is multiversal , because here they say that we need a group of celestial sapiens to survive Omniversal destruction , but in Ben 10 Omniversal means Infinite universes , literally Infinite Universes like DC, because in Ben 10 it's been stated 3 times that their are Infinite Universes in the Omniverse, so if a group of celestial sapiens can stop Omniversal destruction, that means each one is capable of surviving or stopping the Destruction of over 100 quintillion Universes, proof , the word ""group"" refers to a small number of individuals, like 10 or 20, so what's Infinity Divided by 20 ? It's still Infinity so .... You obviously get were I'm going with this. And also in Ben 10 clockwork stopped the chronosapien Time Bomb which is capable of Destroying every timeline in almost Infinite Universes except in the universe it is currently in, and alien x is above and more powerful than clockwork , so if clockworks time powers are multiversal , alien x is time powers , and most likely other powers are multiversal aswell . They gave Hal feats from other lanters , but they didn't give alien X the feats of other Aliens, which is unfair .

Luke Moses not at all I love kuros content on ink tank it’s one of my personal favorite projects I’ve seen I’m not caught up on everything he does aside from 5 years later but I think it’s all very impressive plus his art is flattering to Danny phantom and Ben 10 designs i wrote this comment a while ago because. I felt that death battle is seen as the end all be all when it comes to fight debates when it’s not it’s more like a research project for fun (being honest my comment is really negative when it’s unnecessary)

So you mentioned a few times in this response series that Ben 10 doesn’t get much attention and needs it no matter what light it gets. Thing is, Ben 10 was the shiz back in the day. I watched it in its first season as a kid and kept watching all the way through ultimate alien. I even made a friend years later when I was 20 when we instantly bonded over our love for the series (as well as several other series). Sadly that friend passed away in an accident about a year later. He reminds me a lot of you Kuro (you look similar). R.I.P. Ryan. Thanks for your content and your enthusiasm for such a great series

Hey listen I just wanted to say thank you. I used to be a big Ben 10 fan I stopped a few years ago. I stopped before the 4th show started. I didn't even know there was a fourth show until you showed us it. And I can't wait to go back and watch the original series all over again if you don't know my favorite series was Alien Force. I think that's my favorite version of Ben 10. Anyway you have a great day I want to go watch and get back into Ben 10 again. Keep up the great work I also can't wait to read your comic.

Also I completely agree with whats the point sort of when Wiz and Boomstick are essentially JUST characters at this point.
I'd say the point was a fair and impartial research team that could quantify how strong/durable/fast characters are in a DB and then decide a winner based off of data, but that's not the case anymore WHOOPS.
They always have been and they have always been open that the host dont always help with writing the show heck this was likely even more the case when screwattack was still going in full swing since they had other content and shows they wrote and hosted.

Gamer Ben he literally addresses that. It’s a cheap cop out. If the animation doesn’t matter, then why not just choose a winner and then have that person snap their opponents neck two seconds into the fight?
*Because the fight is supposed to show why that character beats the other.*
So if the animation doesn’t accurately represent the characters, that means their understanding of the characters is wrong. If their understanding is wrong, then their conclusion might be ultimately incorrect.
Also, they often use the animation as justification for the final results after the final fight. So if the fight doesn’t matter, why use it as justification?

I need to go check out a few of their video's but I'm getting like worlds most dangerous animals comparison shows or a couple shows trying to show what kind of historical archetype is the strongest but the simulated battles have arbitrary area or situation changes to suit a particular animal or warrior over another in changes that don't necessarily make sense.
It really isn't. even seth the programmer conceded on this. Death battle never once claimed their animated protrails were accurate so calling him out on it is pointless . What matters is the research not how to fight plays out.

No, the fight can be entertaining and accurate, in fact, it should be. There's no reason to simply ignore the animation, what should be a clear display of SAID FACTS AND LOGIC. If we're expected to just completely ignore the animation, which DOES accurately show some feats, then Death Battle is just bullshit. Not to mention, they themselves are DEFENDING FEATS shown in the animation, meaning the animation IS accurate in logic and evidence, and therefore should be referenced when determining facts and logics for a rebuttal.

Actually, if memory serves me correct, all of Green Lantern's feats were taken into account because of Rebirth brought back all the events in Pre-Crisis, Crisis, Post-Crisis, and New 52.
All of Ben's feats, despite being awesome, are what Hal can do on a Monday, along with the fact that he has experience dealing with foes like Alien X before.

existence. After the Anihilaarg detonated, Ben said "The universe is everything I know" and then " it is everything there is", despite the fact that Ben has been to several other universes/dimensions, another universe in the same timeline etc. Notice how Bellicus and Serena don't correct Ben when he says that the "universe is everything there is", they only correct him on the tense "is" to "was". The Anihilaarg destroyed everything there is I.E all of existence and Alien X effortlessly tanked and then recreated everything in existence.

Death Battle's biggest issue is the fact that they're misleading to someone who's new to a Verse.
In an open Versus discussion on a forum, whenever you get something wrong or use bad logic, you'd get corrected, and if you didn't accept the correction, it doesn't matter since everyone else outnumbers you and would counterract your vote based on wrong logic.
However, Death Battle isn't open to discussion, and a newbie who's new to a Verse Death Battle is discussing and used incorrect logic with would walk away with incorrect logic. They'd get the wrong image about BOTH characters. They'd think that Green Lantern is stronger than he actually is and they'd think Ben 10 is weaker than he actually is. That's their worst problem: They're misleading.
And this problem is even worse since Death Battle is wrong one times outta ten. They make more correct conclusions than incorrect ones. But a lie is best told when encased in truth, and now newbies to a Verse would trust Death Battle based on past, correct conclusions and just accept what they say, again, they'll walk away with incorrect logic and a wrong image of both characters.
Death Battle is both a blessing and a curse to the Versus community. They're making it more well-known, but they're also giving newbies bad logic.
Your comment is respectable especially because you acknowledge that Death Battle's conclusions USUALLY aren't wrong.
@@GigaLigma a lot of their conclusions are not wrong, but they geat the characters still wrong such as 18 vs captain marvel. But sometimes they are inconsistent with feats, e.g. Goku vs superman woudn't acknowledge any feats post vegata arc for goku, but for 18 would her to freiza, saying she has X amount of power atleast, but contradicts staments/feats from a previous video, showing either a lack of knowledge or a bias
They compounded all of bens weaknesses and some strengths while compounding ALL of Hals (and others) strengths and NONE of his weaknesses. This is very misleading, they fundamentally changed one character to favor another. They are biased and aren’t accurate when it comes to the research. Whoever their researchers are (clearly not the main two guys since they had no idea and it didn’t seem to make sense for them) idk if it’s Liam or what but the guy needs to be readjusted

That's often my problem with some of those kinds of things. They are just aware enough to know that not everybody knows there are different green lanterns. And some might know that there were different ones but not that their powers were actually different or why. So it's easy to suck them in. Yet it's extremely rare for any shows to actually make light of the fact that there are different iterations of characters, what they are, why they are different, and Why different ones might win or lose or give criteria to pick the situational best one for the comparison. They skew and fudge things with claims like "well he theoretically could do it!" Some versions actually often can't do what others can and the same is true for Green Lantern and the green lantern lore actually discusses why such differences exist and why they can't necessarily just do what another can do which is the basis for seeking to have so many different races in the Green Lantern Core in the first place.

I think the biggest problem w/ Death Battle is their 'research.'
What I mean is that the 'research' they do for one character does not have they same effort as the other. This video provides perfect examples of this, in the Green Lantern vs Ben 10 Death Battle they comprise every version of Green Lantern into ONE definitive GL, where as w/ Ben they only use his teen self & use Omnitrix feats from an Omnitric Ben no longer uses, they also use feats/statements from Green Lanterns that aren't Hal b/c they are 'similar enough' even though at least 90% of those Lanterns aren't even human or have any connection w/ Hal, but don't allow feats/statements from other versions of Ben from other timelines.
Even though it seems as though they have good intentions at heart I just can't ignore their blatant bias towards certain characters, which seem to be from the comic universe, while characters from other universes are down played, use inaccurate/outdated feats/statements/info, tell blatant lies and cherry pick certain info/feats/statements.
It's b/c of these reasons I stopped watching Death Battle, they just became too unreliable and felt as though I could no longer trust them, in all honesty they seem too incompetent at their own jobs, which seem's like they don't even do themselves, which only adds to my dislike to their channel & 'content.'
To be honest I stop watching it, because of Goku vs Superman, they downplay Goku so much I have to stop watching it.
They over-height Superman and comic book Universe, but downplay anime Universe, look at every time they're do dbz they downpaly it.

Actually it would make quite the difference, b/c we would be combining all the versions of Ben that exist & some versions of ungraded Omnitrixes/gear that would benefit Ben greatly.

I felt this most strongly with the Ragna v. Sol fight years ago. While Sol Badguy, and by extension, Guilty Gear, was treated with respect, they constantly downplayed Ragna and Blazblue by completely skimming over lore with their "No one knows" joke which annoyed the hell out of me because, I could understand the lore of Blazblue.
I still watch DB from time to time, but only so I'll have context for the debunk videos that will probably come afterwards. I know for a fact that someone somewhere on the net will correct their mistakes. Hell, I might even get lucky and find a debunk video that gets me interested in a new franchise.

Hal has fought people who can paralyze others with fear his ever since Sinestro got his Yellow ring. Heck maybe even before that. Hal has also fought and defeated Paralax (the entity of fear) and come out on top several times.
Heck even when Hal is truly and utterly afraid his willpower is upsurd and the fear only marginally affects his ability to fight temporarily before he overwhelms it.

However the weakness to Yellow disappeared once Paralax was removed from the central power battery.
Fear is a weapon you can use against a green lantern but it is only a short term solution against most Green Lanterns.

Heck Ben 10 is actually worse at this than green lantern because not only is the omnitrix constantly getting all manner of new abilities outside of the transformations as well the transformations getting more and more powerful to an absurd degree (Diamond Head and Way Big being the two biggest examples) but it was actually retconned that Ben could never actually die so long as he wears the watch because it will bring him back to life as the perfect alien to defeat whatever enemy he was fighting, meaning the only time Ben was ever actually in any real danger was when he wore the Ultimatrix, because that's the only version of the watch without that function.

Jetray - hit and run tactics
AmpFibian - can read Hal’s mind & predict his moves.
Goop - can restrain Hal and take off his ring.
Ghostfreak - can possess Hal.
Toepick - can make Hal lose concentration or at least make him heavily distracted from the fight.
Chromastone/Feedback - can drain all of his willpower, leaving Hal vulnerable.
Clockwork - can stop time and then dodge all of Hal’s attacks, like Sans from undertale. He can do it repeatedly without Hal noticing he is stopping time. And as time goes by, Hall will eventually run out of energy, leaving him vulnerable. Or just take his ring off while time has frozen.
Upgrade - can take controll of his ring
Echo Echo - can duplicate himself over 1000 times and can annoy Hal & make him lose concentration by spamming sonic screams at him.
Swampfire/Pesky Dust - can make Hal go to sleep. Pesky Dust can put Hal into an eternal sleep and easily control his dreams and nightmares. This will leave Green Lantern incapacitated, leaving him open for the final blow.
Gutrot - can make a knockout gas, which can knock out Green Lantern, leaving him open for the final blow.
Atomix - OP one shots ultimate aliens, Enough Said.

I'm a big fan of the Green Lantern lore and comics, he is by far my favorite DC super hero and I'm sure he could give Ben a hard time (considerating a full powered Hal with all of his comic plot armor) but still there's NO WAY Hal Jordan would be able to win a fight against a full powered Ben (I mean...cutting of his Omnitrix arm or stabbing Alien X with a light construct? Really? That would hurt but it's not enough to win the fight)
Ben 10 doens't get the recognition it deserves and that ends on the character being underestimated as heck, but I am happy that some channels still give him the credit and love he deserves :)

Not only does this mean Ben has unrestricted access to Alien X, he no longer requires the two entities in his head to agree with him anymore to make decisions.

Alien x is multiversal , because here they say that we need a group of celestial sapiens to survive Omniversal destruction , but in Ben 10 Omniversal means Infinite universes , literally Infinite Universes like DC, because in Ben 10 it's been stated 3 times that their are Infinite Universes in the Omniverse, so if a group of celestial sapiens can stop Omniversal destruction, that means each one is capable of surviving or stopping the Destruction of over 100 quintillion Universes, proof , the word ""group"" refers to a small number of individuals, like 10 or 20, so what's Infinity Divided by 20 ? It's still Infinity so .... You obviously get were I'm going with this. And also in Ben 10 clockwork stopped the chronosapien Time Bomb which is capable of Destroying every timeline in almost Infinite Universes except in the universe it is currently in, and alien x is above and more powerful than clockwork , so if clockworks time powers are multiversal , alien x is time powers , and most likely other powers are multiversal aswell . They gave Hal feats from other lanters , but they didn't give alien X the feats of other Aliens, which is unfair .
You forgot to mention that composite Ben has trained to use the heritage of his grandmother and so can use magic in general as well as magic constructs that are similar to Green Lantern's constructs. I agree with the other guy you could call him Ben 10 Million.

the most disappointing/worst death battle in my opinion has to be Shadow vs Mewtwo, the battle was extremely short and i feel that they re-intruduced Shadow only to make him lose again

Well Death Battle's been having this composite problem for a while now. They combined every version of Superman against Goku and really need to change it.

@@cherechesalexdaniel811 now I will admit in the series vilgax did manage to take the watch eventually( hince the new 1 in ultimate alien) but he only pulled that off by using years of research after nearly dieing in a fight to build a very complex machine to trick the watch into removing itself so he could put it on at which point ben actived the watches self-destruct mode, so yes the watch has been taken but not never in a first encounter fight where the opponent has tried to remove it by shear force💁
I was once a Death Battle fan, believing that Death Battle is always accurate. It all changed after I learned about confirmation bias: a tendency to only listen to the information you like. I began to consider the times where Death Battle was wrong, which led me to this video. By the way, this video made me more open-minded to other viewpoints.

yeah look at carnage vs lucy , DB buffed lucy and nerfed carnage , even though carnage is the king of multi tasking and lucy has many weaknesses to exploit like if you mess with her cocentration she cant use her vectors making her vulnerable to attack , and also carnage is fast enough to dodge multiple bullets at point blank range and lucy in the manga has been defeated by normal police officers and coudnt dodge bullets most of the time..

Alien X nor any celestialsapiens have never shown that they can sense the sotobro effect, but even if we were to give them the benefit of the doubt that they could sense it, the sotobro effect only occurs when chronosapien time powers are used which did not happen, and Hal is at a minimum 750 times faster than Alien X when comparing their highest speed feats, so even the sotobro effect occured and if Alien X could sense it, Hal can just outspeed him.

Effectively, the failsafe would let Ben survive anything that came his way by switching to the alien best suited for the situation. There are a few problems with this, the most notable of which being where its limits actually lie.
At the climax of the episode And Then There Were None, a Chronosapien Time Bomb goes off and eradicates every Omnitrix user and their timelines, including Ben Prime's. The Omnitrix's AI didn't even begin to take effect when Ben was being affected, meaning the failsafe wasn't capable of saving him, leaving two possibilities for the scene to come to mind.
1. No alien Ben had was capable of surviving the Chronosapien Time Bomb, which puts Hal ahead of Alien X
2. The failsafe was not capable of activating against the Chronosapien Time Bomb, which clearly shows its limits
For the former possibility, Alien X's peak of power would be below multiversal, which would leave him at a bit above the baseline for Universal+ power given his highest shown feats. This would also be backed up by Word of God saying that a single Celestialsapien could not survive this. If we accept this with Hal's feats and capabilities, Hal is significantly more powerful than Alien X and would be able to outmatch anything Ben could throw at him.
For the latter possibility, the failsafe has a clear limit to what it can save Ben from which is supported by the other times the failsafe didn't react for similar scenarios where Ben was in dangered which would mean we'd have to measure its utility with the strongest thing it activated for (In this case, a big bang). As Hal's Power Ring is more powerful than a big bang-scale event, and he's significantly faster than the fastest thing the failsafe's reacted to along with Hal's constructs being even faster than Hal himself, he or his constructs should be able to kill Ben the very moment the fight starts regardless of the failsafe.
We gonna ignore the fact that ben leaves at least one echo echo clone somewhere hidden in case he dies? No matter what.... so...
It was never really clear to me if this is something Ben does all the time, or just something he does whenever he turns into Echo Echo. If it's actually all the time, that means a version of Ben has to spends weeks, months or even years just chilling in a trunk, with nothing to do. Wouldn't that drive him insane?

90% sure this video series might’ve been the main reason why the the Death Battle has as much controversy as it did. I mean, it was going to have controversy no matter what but when Kuro only covered one side of the battle with very little about Hal himself, it was just setting up for Hal’s failure.

Actually I saw that episode of Ben 10 OMNIVERSE that Liam watched , I literally just saw it, and in the episode , the last one called """A new Dawn """, the Contemelia , which are a race of 5th dimensional beings , put the annilarg in an Extra dimensional barrier to protect themselves from the annilarg when it unleashed the energy to create a universe , and they themselves said that the barrier is impossible to breach and turn off , but Ben broke through easily with alien x is DNA, so if the Contemelia said the force Field was unbreakable, them being Fifth dimensional, then that means Alien x is atleast Fifth dimensional or 6 dimensional since he broke through the Extra dimensional barrier, Because Ben used alien x , but Liam didn't mentioned that , alien x is proven in that episode to be at least 5th dimensional or 6th dimensional. And the Contemelia go around creating and destroying universes for a living , they have been doing that for billions of years. So yes alien x is indeed a multiversal threat , and he might be even higher tier because in Ben 10 OMNIVERSE, the episode "" universe vs Tennyson, """ it is revealed that the Alien X's species is responsible for the animation changes, continuity changes, and even voice actor changes , things that Creators usually do for the shows, so this fact proven and shown in the show proves that alien x is species is on the same level as the Overmonitors in DC , and cosmic armor Superman. I'm not trying to argue with you about or offend you in any way, but I just wanted to say that their are facts shown in the Ben 10 show that he is indeed multiversal that Liam clearly didn't watch nor know about . You make amazing points, I still love death battle but other times...their research make no sense
They almost completely nailed a five-way Battle Royale earlier in the same season that they botched something up this badly. That's so ridiculous it's impressive. (Seriously; MegaMan.EXE should've actually tied the match with someone else but they condensed one detail about him for the sake of time and presentation but everything else was so good that I didn't really mind, and yeah, he COULD be as powerful as they said if not for minute semantics. But here? Either side wins, and the result would be wrong. Hell even the Ben they should have used could have either won or lost to Hal if you include some recent events, and the result still would have a ton of problems.)

I enjoy death battle for the most, it's for fun it's not a huge serious thing, I just didnt like the way they compared this one and sephiroth vs Vergil because they compare feats for certain characters which dont scale together instead of others (sephiroth to Zack but not Vergil to Dante) its minor things to have an issue with
