    thanks for the upload, all the other first few results were like you said, upgrades instead of direct replacements. it's funny because my car is a 2017 and needs a new bulb, so it sounds like they all go out exactly at the 4 year mark, haha.

    Thanks for the video it helped a lot I have to change mine soon. I think the fog light turns off when you use the blinker.

      Never noticed that, but does explain why when I went to change it, it was working lol, thanks for the comment!

      @@kevinkuz9716 Years ago when cars first started using LED fog lights and blinkers, I would notice how when a car facing me at an intersection would have a fog light out, and I thought that looked so ugly driving around with a broken fog light on one side, then i noticed when the blinker stopped, the fog light lit back up. I think they design it like that to make the blinker not get out shined by the fog light, but not all cars do that

      @@lander77477 Thanks for the information, yeah I never noticed that, since I live in south Florida where no one uses there blinker. lol

    I can’t even get the first step done, my arms are not as skinny. I took the front plastic plate of for more access but can’t disconnect the orange connector either the wires attached. And I can only get my left arm through the confined space, I’m pushing on the toggle button but it won’t let me separate the wire Connector from the light harness, Is there another toggle button on the bottom? If there is a can’t find it or get to it because it’s flush against something else down there’s. I’m pushing the toggle switch button and Pulling hard but there is no separation at all. I pretty mush give up!

    Do you know if it uses a mini bulb? I’m trying to figure out which bulb to buy, planning on replacing mine here in the next few days

      I add a link to the bulbs I used to the description, but i'm not sure if that answered your question.

    There are two bulbs in that rectangular light housing. You changed the large one, but I need to change the small one and can't get the small housing to come loose after removing the wiring connector.

      I had to use a wrench for the one I did change they get pretty tight, but its nerve racking to turn it because it does feel like it might break the plastic, and truthfully it might break the plastic if its too stuck... I made it look easy in the video because I had already done it once before to make sure it wasn't going to break while recording haha.

    My connectors wire snapped off. Does anyone know how to fix it? Basically the wires going into the small orange box tore split. How can I rewire it?

    • @kevinkuz9716
      @kevinkuz9716  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      That's sucks man I haven't had that happen yet so can't offer much advice, but if the connector is still good and the wire just pulled out, you might be able to release the pins in the plastic connector and resolder the wires to the pins and push it back into the house. Another option is to go to the junk yard and pull a good connecter out of a car but leave a several inches of wire, then splice it in to the pulled out wires in your car. I would say get a new connector but I have no idea what the part number would be haha. Best of luck!

      @@kevinkuz9716 thanks that was what I was thinking as well. Do you know why the signal light has two bulbs in it? Are they both suppose to come on when using the turn signal? Or does only the one you swapped out work?
