you really said it right!! I was just starting out and was very nervous and i figured i should pronounce things the way they pronounced in the US but then i learned that being myself was the way to go! Thanks for understanding love! :)
I'm from California and its ruffly almost 4am and I've been watching Laura in the kitchen for almost 2-3years and not once has it every occurred to me to watch episode 1! And we'll here I am!! This is so amazing!!!!!! I could literally cry!
THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU. You have no idea how much help you were to me when I had a dinner party and I had to cook Italian food. You are awesome Laura.
I've always thought about episode 1 ! like what was different? how did she look? how did she dress? come to find out... still the same great ol Laura. just now, everything's in HD! good people never change!!!! ❤
So I'm looking for a good Bruschetta receipt and found this one. This is honestly the best I have found on TH-cam. You are entertaining, good in explaining and it looks so easy! The fact that this was uploaded 9 years ago blew my mind. Definitely going to try this this evening!😍 Update: it was delicious.
greetings from 2021! after almost 10 years of me following this channel and your beautiful family, i still refer to this bruschetta recipe. thats what i call a classic.
This has got to be a studio. This isn't the home that she pictures her family dinners in. Her kitchen on IG is gorgeous, but she still films here in 2020. I like that.
oh my god i'm watching this in 2014 and her videos have changed a lot its amazing how the changes passed through all these years. She started amazing !
Just wanted to see the difference between the 600 over episodes u are now compared to your first episode XD And yes, Laura you've put in soooooo much effort to become such a great chef till today!!! Thanks for being willing to share your recipes!! :D
Laura I ABSOLUTELY LOVE YOU!!! Seriously I'm following all of your videos and whenever I want to make a italian recipe I ALWAYS use your recipes because they taste beautiful and are authentic with improvements! I love that every step is displayed and clearly explained also entertaining to watch you cook! Unlike some other videos... the recipes are easy and deliciouse! I made the eggplant parmezan recipe and my friends loved it and I couldn't believe something that good came outta my hands!
As weird as it seems, what leade me to Laura In The Kitchen three years ago was.. of all things... The Assassin's Creed 2 game. I was so into AC2 that I began to take interest in everything Italian. History, and food. :) That's when I stumbled upon Laura, as well as YellowSaphron. :)
I think this is the first time I’ve seen your first TH-cam. You started out GREAT ! You didn’t appear nervous or hesitant at all ! GREAT job ! I love watching you still in 2021 !
Our Italian friend from San Fran came to visit and I made this. Yummy. We passed around the wine and pronounced Bruschetta a bunch of different ways until we figured out it didn't matter! Thanks for the vid.
Just got a wild idea to try this... never had it before, never thought about making it, but THIS was PHENOMENAL! Thank you Laura! This recipe is DEFINITELY a keeper!!!
Looking for antipasto and bruschetta ideas for a hot July day after work when I can't bring myself to heat up the kitchen for dinner, and I come upon your very first video! Yay!!
I had brushetta at a local eatery the other day and my mouth and tastebuds have never been the same. Loved it!! I think they had some kind of cream cheese layered on the bread before the tomato mixture. They also had some kind of basalmic reduction drizzled on the plate. Loved your presentation and am going to practice right away. Thanks!
Thank you so much Laura for your wonderful recipe. I just loved the taste of the bruschetta especially the crunch (Yums), finally the taste and recipe I was looking for and yes, less than half of the red onion was enough otherwise, it'll just overpower the taste of the tomatoes. Definitely will be my favorite recipe! Thanks again!
I believe her beautiful Italian accent that we hear more often these days is "absolutely authentic" and I love it. She probably started out talking like an American (Motts-o-rella) until she became more comfortable behind the camera. Now she is pronouncing her Italian words correctly .... the way she was taught growing up in Italy.
If she were to do this as a new episode again she wouldn't be chopping up the food half of the time LOL. If you noticed she always cuts everything up beforehand now.
very few youtubers will keep up their first video, but i was happy to see you have all your videos up! and you haven't changed at all since day one :) its nice to see some people can stay so humble
The recipe came out good. I modified this by: -putting one side of the bread in an olive oil puddle to coat instead of brushing or sprinkling -I sprinkled garlic powder on the bread before putting it in the oven My family actually loved it.
Anyone watching in 2019? Wow! Boy has Laura come a long way!! Love, love your recipes. You’re my go to for anything I make. ♥️

Wow, Laura started this when not many had any clue about the potential of TH-cam. She is a rock star , put so much hard work day in day put 😊

Still in the same kitchen as all the episodes I used to watch. I'm quite impressed.
aw her first episode
wow this is AMAZING for her first video! congrats on everything you've accomplished since, Laura!
i think adding some balsamic vinegar to this is essential, the vinegar really compliments the other flavours and brings a wonderful sharpness.
I think this is the first time I’ve seen your first TH-cam. You started out GREAT ! You didn’t appear nervous or hesitant at all ! GREAT job ! I love watching you still in 2021 !

Thank you so much Laura for your wonderful recipe. Pro tip. Brush the bread with olive oil and garlic and top with a little parmesan cheese before toasting. Also, drizzle some balsamic glaze on top.
