For a long time, I had no problem spending $300-$400 for a fragrance, but I have been finding some real bangers as of late for under $125. Not to mention the hidden gems from Middle Eastern frag houses. There are so many choices to compliment any type of budget. Awesome vid Veronica!!!💚
Thanks so much!! 🥰 I agree - so many options at all price points and preferences to suit anyone regardless of their spending limits. They are all worthy of checking out if they fit your style! 💯💯💯
@12 Pretty Things I'll let Beez Kneez weigh in, but I have done a lot of blind buying of Middle Eastern fragrances. There are both originals and dupes, but I will say that much of what is marketed to the U.S. are dupes but the descriptions don't reveal that. Nothing wrong with dupes imo, but do look up the fragrance you're interested in on Fragrantica to see if it's listed and read reviews to get an idea of what it smells like (and if it's inspired by another fragrance). I have a dupes video that might help you from a few weeks ago (Top 20 Dupes).

I consider $150+ to be expensive, and would have to really love the perfume to purchase. But it’s the enjoyment of discovery that makes this fragrance journey I’m on worth it.
Hi Demetra! 🥰 I can totally relate to the last sentence. I know what you mean about "curating" in retrospect. We live and learn and enjoy though, right? 💖💖💖
I used to say $200 for 100ml was my "dass expensive" point, but I've since spent $165 for 50ml 🤔. So I guess if a fragrance is more than $300 per 100ml, it has to be perfectly crafted, transcendent, and awe-inspiring.

Hi Ike! 💖 That #3 really hits home for me. I get it! My current frivolous expenditures are makeup, skin care, and fragrance. Sometimes candles. So, all is well as a result! No other vices. 🥰🥰🥰 Glad you enjoyed the video.
I'm so glad to find your channel! I try to stay below $200, so I'll opt for travel sizes or decants if I can't find a full bottle at a reasonable price. As my collection grows, I'm also realizing I don't need as many full bottles anymore. Thanks for some great recommendations!
My high limit is about $2000. I have numerous high end Roja Dove perfumes and discontinued Guerlain's. On average my collection is in the range of $200 to $400. I think fragrance houses should be offering sizes in 25 ml and 50 ml so more people can experience their fragrances at a more affordable price. Don't think I'm a snob because I have some purchased for less than $100.
No judgment here! 😉💖 Sometimes discontinued beauties cost quite a bit. I, too, wish brands would make smaller sizes moreso because getting through a respectable amount of fragrance is a challenge when you have a big collection. Thanks for sharing your limits. If you wouldn't mind, I'd love to hear your most treasured discontinued find.
For me, I would say anything under $50 is “affordable”. $51-$125 is what I expect from a designer fragrance (but I usually refuse to pay this) and anything over $125 feels expensive.
For me it has been under 50 euros for years, but at the moment, because of the cost of living crisis (winter!) it is under 30 euros. Then again, I usually buy 10ml samples (0.3oz = 9ml) anyway. I also adore mini or travelsize perfumes, but those are harder to get.
Usually if I really like a fragrance, I feel it is expensive but still kind of doable if the price is around $200. I have purchased fragrances that are more expensive than that, but for me it’s $150-$200.
For my budget, about a $100 is expensive and I only have a few. I’m more comfortable in the $50 and under range. That said, I love to hear about the pricier ones and I enjoy seeing the bottles etc, so I really liked this and similar videos.

Good morning! I agree with your price cap and also appreciate the criteria you chose. I’m new to fragrances and am shocked at the number of fragrances that don’t last.
I really love your content! You put so much work into it,you are funny as h..ll, and it is so much more than the neverending haul and declutter content.
As soon as it hits the over $200 mark I feel it’s getting expensive. I’ve been enjoying discovering cheaper fragrances lately. At one point I was a bit of a niche snob but I’m branching out into designer and really enjoying them.
Love your look today! Although you always look fabulous. I’d say about $200 is where I start to think things are getting expensive. SO glad you mentioned Tabac Rose! I think it’s my favorite in the line, which I’m hard pressed to say b/c I adore the other 4 I own. Commanding is a fantastic way to describe this scent. I absolutely love it.
My limit is $125. I do buy from Mercari and on sale and I do use loyalty rewards Houses like Dior who have generous samples if you spend $100. I use the incredible Dior couture packing for family gifts
I agree about Iris Poudre! It's one of my faves. You're making me want to try Tabit. I am the same about peach notes, but now I'm intrigued. I really love the flavor of a good ol' SC peach, so it's kind of strange I don't have a good peach perfume. As for your question, I really have to think a lot about buying a perfume over $150, but I have a lot of expenses right now, and I'm just not buying a lot of perfumes. I'm on a very low "low-buy."
Iris Poudre is an underrated gem! I would say sample Tabit first and let it grow on you. It's good! 👍 And listen, life expenses come first. This perfume stuff is a complete frivolity - it can sit on the backburner until you're ready for me. 💯💯💯
Hello Veronica, for me Initio Atomic Rose and Delina/Delina Exclusif are worth the hype and the splurge. And I also agree that Tabit, BR540 and Accento Overdose are all worth the hype and the splurge. Oud Jaune Intense is up there on my list. As for one of my all time faves Lost Cherry, I think it’s worth the hype BUT not worth the splurge. Also in my opinion, most Jo Malone fragrances are overhyped and overpriced for its performance on me, but that’s just me. Anything less than 100ml and over $250 I consider to be expensive. This is a fun video Veronica! 💕❤️♥️
Hi Marie! 🥰 I would love Oud Jaune Intense. I did not include it here because the retail price is downright outrageous. Oh my. Agree about Lost Cherry and Jo Malone - good points! And we have a similar limit range. 👍👍👍
I'm at the point in my fragrance journey where I am considering niche purchases. $200 seems to be a "das expensive" moment for me. Guess I will be buying more smaller ml's and decants!
For me, it's not so much about "affordability." It's more of a perspective that once a fragrance hits $200 and over, I pause as it better be a fragrance that makes my eyes roll in the back of my head 😉
Agreed! I'm willing to pay whatever they charge as long as it's truly exceptional and knocks my socks off. It can't just smell good. The "sock knocking" has to be proportionate to the price, by my standards 😂
Dear Veronica, to me US$ 200 is a no cross line....so we do share few faves here: Trajan by Electimuss replaced MFK BR540. I am impressed by this company and currently sampling some of the top recommendations. BDK Tabac Rose replaced PDM Delina. Why? Simply because BDK TR is so unique. I have just added a jewel to my collection that is Aramni Prive Vert Malachite which to me is far superior to Rouge Malachite...that s my opinion. Great video thank you so much.
Hi Fatema! 💖 I love these "replacements" - in with the new and out with the old. I adore Vert Malachite (and Rouge Malachite also). Vert Malachite is underrated for sure! Lovely scent. 👍👍👍
I'm learning how to make perfume and I would like to train my nose to recognize ingredients. So my limit went from $150 to $300. But I won't go over that. Thanks Veronica
@@VeronicaSays teaching myself...it's very interesting. Just making sure I'm familiar with IFRA restrictions. It's the alcohol that costs the most out of all of the materials. I just need a scale and I can get started.
Great choices! And looking fabulous sis that sweater is gorgeous! I have had the opportunity of smelling a couple that you’ve mentioned here and you’re right on the dot, definitely worth the money!!❤
Lovely video Veronica. I personally will never buy a fragrance that costs more than $200 without trying it a couple of times and absolutely falling in love with it. So $200 and plus is what I consider “expensive” for a bottle of perfume.
Keep up the great content! 😊 I tend to draw the line at €300 for 100ml, but I make exceptions here and there if a scent really knocks my socks off. Cases in point: The Harmonist Yin Transformation, Boadicea the Victorious Bodacious, Xerjoff Symphonium, Guerlain Angelique Noire, Fragrance du Bois Oud Jaune. Those were just too good to remain levelheaded! ☺️
To be honest anything over $120 makes me second guess going through with a purchase 😬 (not that I haven’t or won’t spent more than that on a fragrance) Just starting this video- excited to watch! ❤ (I just asked Siri to convert, and $120 Cad is $88 American)
You look like a Movie Star on a press junket! Stunning! Love the look. ♥️♥️♥️. To me, fragrances are an art form, as opposed to an investment. Love the list! 🖤🖤
For me over $ 300 is “ spensive ! “ but I’m like you I hate paying full price for them Love your content and I look so forward to your videos every Saturday 🇨🇦💕
I appreciate the criteria that you set for these fragrance. I have limited budget for perfume so I always want to make sure the perfumes that i buy is a real love. I learned the hard way that blind buying full bottles are not for the poor 🤣 much love from Borneo Island ❤️
$200 + for 50 or 100ml....eh, it would have to be really really good. I will start hunting down dupes. (hello Amber oud rouge) I agree with you about lasting too, if I'm paying that much it should last most of the day... Really cute sweater V!! Looking good chicky!💙
At $150, I pause. Anything over $200, I really have to think about… and I will rarely go over $250. That being said, I would love to snap my fingers and automatically return 100 bottles in my collection that cost around $100 and buy a few REALLY nice bottles. But who am I kidding, the hunt is 80% of the fun. Love the video as always ❤ I also bought a Dior palette from you that I am LOVING and getting so much use out of. I thought I’d let you know because it makes me happy to think that the things I pass on are getting a lot of good use. I know selling online is a pain, but remember that there are people out there that really appreciate it 😊
Oh my goodness! Thank you soooo much for letting me know about the Dior palette. I don't always connect the Mercari name to the YT name. Yesss, it is so satisfying to know that a product on Mercari went to a loving new home. Woohoo! 🥳🥳🥳 And yes. You are so right about the thrill of the hunt. 😂🙌💯
This matches my perspective (except I don't have 100 $100 bottles lol, but I agree on principle). I've tried some dupes and tbh I'd rather save up or buy fewer fragrances to get the real deal instead (if I'm head over heels and if the performance is good!). The two dupes I have are Not Another Cherry, because TF Lost Cherry just doesn't last, and Floral Marshmallow = Dossier dupe for Love Don't be Shy. I simply prefer Floral Marshmallow over LDBS. I would go over $250 for my ride-or-die BR540 and the Extrait because those were/are life-altering experiences for me (draaaaamaaaaa!!!! But hey it's true.)
Hello Veronica, I bought Bond No9 I love NY and I love it. It was over $200 and I think that's my "dasss expencive" level 🤣I also love Baccarat Extrait... I got some samples. Price is just insane for the full sizes. On the US site is $435 for 2.4oz!!! Maybe on my birthday, maybe not...I dont know lol I wish it lasted longer.😄
Perfume pricing can be way over the top, for sure! I'm okay with a Bond No 9 at the $200 price point if I love it. Thanks for sharing your esssspensive limit! 💖🥰
It depends for me, usually $150 but if I see a $$$ that is on significant discount for that brand even at over $150, then I would buy it. The one exception for me is Scents of Wood Plum in Cognac, which I plan on paying full price for. That is my ride or die fragrance and if you haven't tried it yet you have to.
Hi there! 💖 Yes I have a travel spray of Plum in Cognac. It's very nice! And I'm like you, if it's super expensive and I find a great discount, I may snag it. 👍👍👍
Veronica, I would spend the most 140 or 150 at most and I would have to be crazy in love with it. I don’t have any sandal wood fragrances as the main not and wanted to know which one you would suggest budget friendly.
Hi Tamira! 💖 Hhhhmmm... one that is not a dupe that you might like is Santal Vanille by 7 Virtues. And while it's not exactly sandalwood, you might want to try Palo Santo from Cremo. It's VERY strong, FYI. If you want more subtle, try Sunny Side Up by Juliette Has a Gun. Hope this helps. 🥰
@@VeronicaSays Thank you so much for your advice. I think I saw a review on Palo Santo by cremo. I decided I only really want to purchase good performing perfume. I will definitely try and let you know!! ❤️❤️❤️
I own quite a few bottles, so I seldom purchase full size bottles as I will never finish my current collection. Happy Sunday, Verónica and thank you :)
@VeronicaSays You lead a You Tube platform and only you can have so many parfums:) but it is undeniable the beautiful joy at having and wearing such beautiful scents. It is veritable therapy. Thank you, Madame V.
Hi beautiful! Clicked, liked and now watching! Happy Saturday. This list is so amazing. Let me enjoy this video and sending you hugs! Yes I remember when Ai the great mentioned that one and how gorgeous it is . 🤗❤️
I'm from an era when I paid $120 for parfum concentration in a Lalique crystal bottle (L'Air du Temps). After the age of 27 I became frugal. For me the only thing worth paying more than $200 for is Coco. Mostly I buy stuff that's less than $100.
Hey hello, great topic V! I hesitate going over $150 for anything really but if it is that once on a life time scent, hello Iris Ukiyoue ... I go out of my way to find a sampler or even used. Save for Iris U I flat refuse spending $$ on scents with less than 8 hrs of longevity. This is why I never owned Santal Carmin or Ambre Nue despite the fact I'm obsessed with both.
Thank you so much! 💖 Sadly, I feel the same about Santal Carmin and have it for sale now. I enjoy the scent but it's so soft and doesn't last very long. 😩
$400 is my cutoff point. I paid $300+ for a few Creed fragrances going back a decade ago so I may hesitate but if i really want it I will pay up to $399. But I won’t cross that line for any fragrance. I will search for an eternity for a discount. For Example, I bought Creed Windflowers from Harrods London to avoid paying $445. So $400 is my personal cut off.
Im very stingy but dont actually care to have full bottles for the sake of it so i have quite a few travel sizes of upper price range perfumes. Its well worth it as long as they are potent because you end up spending the same amount of money you would spend on a full bottle of a cheaper perfume that you have to spray more
Aura fragrance has Iris Poudre! I think Amouage and Carolina Herrera Confidential- which you can find at discounters, if you watch closely, both fit this genre!
Hello Veronica, I love that you come up with some great video concepts. I think any fragrance over $200 has to be carefully considered. It has to really get a big emotional response in terms of being a wow! It has to bring huge enjoyment for it to be worth it. There are a lot of 'okay' fragrances out there that are perfectly wearable, but not worth much money if they don't elevate how one feels while wearing them. It doesn't have to be costly to give that feeling... But... It really should when big bucks are being spent. Thanks for sharing your 'worth it' fragrances. You look fantastic in this video! Take care! 💛 ~ Jenn
Hi Jenn! 💖 Thank you so much! 🥰 Yes, after a certain price point we need that extra wow factor for it to be worth it. I love your question - does this elevate my mood or vibe for the day? I may use that thinking to further cull my collection. Great advice! Stay warm up there, my Canadian friend! 💕💕💕
Hi Veronica., you are looking awfully beautiful today and every day love your sweater and the color, is there a limit I am sure there is., Over $200 is Pricy for me, thanks for sharing you have the best of the best 3-4-2023❤
I'd say I could stretch to around $400 for a 100 ml bottle. However, I almost exclusively buy 30 och 50 ml bottles. Argos Danae, Precious liquid Mandarin and Xerhoff Torino 21 are my top ones
Hi veronica, talking about santal blush tom ford what happened to me on international women's day when two ladies who work there stopped me to try that fragrance, and it has huge discount. I try it out with tester, and this is well balanced soft spicy alluring scent. I liked it and I bought it. I told her if it's ok to use it, she said yes. I was about to catch the tester but she was the first to reach it because she wants to honor me on women's day. She spray this on my neck very good while the other lady looked at me. I really enjoyed it. Great video and greetings! 🙏
@@VeronicaSays Yes, I did. This is a overwhelming on its own, in my opinion. It is a lovely spicy scent. It may be bit strong but in order to appreciate this beauty.
Some great selection there especially Tabac Rose, TriBeCa (decant) and Gentle Fluidity Gold (travel size)😍😍. I start scratching my head around the 280$ range and upwards😱😱. Fragrances are expensive here in SA but you can get them for a reasonable price on sale if you are willing to wait🤩🤩. I buy fragrances from all over the world so by now I know where to find what at a reasonable price🤩🤩. Sometimes I don’t need a full bottle because I would have had samples, decants, travel sprays etc. This was such an enjoyable and fun video👌👌.Stay gorgeous🥰🥰.
Hi Pinkie! 💖 Yes, sometimes a decant or travel spray scratches the "itch" to try an expensive fragrance. I know what you mean! I love that you shop all over the world and that you know where to shop for discounts! 💖💖💖
I’m still a lil baby on my fragrance journey lol (at least, I’m not financially in the place to purchase what I’d ideally love to have) but $150 is probably my average threshold for now. So pleasantly surprised to hear you mention Iris Poudree! It has been my fave from the Frederic Malle sampler set forever and ugh it’s absolutely on my wish list. Just such an elegant feminine sophisticated and zen spring like scent. Happy you found a good deal! I also am starting to love En Passant for its uniqueness and that lilac/bready combo but it could never justify the FM pricepoint for such an understated scent. Much love as always!
Hi there, thanks for the love and for weighing in with your limit! 🥰💖 Frederick Malle has a few serious icons in the lineup for Iris Poudree is underrated for sure. En Passant is an interesting one also. Glad you enjoyed sampling those! 👍👍👍
For an instant/impulsive buy, I agree with you. $250 is tops!! The most I've ever paid was $450, after selling my house. It had been on the market for 4 years (!) so I felt entitled to celebrate. The only way I'd pay that much for anything again would be if I sold the house I'm in! (I saw a bottle for sale on eBay for $550! I wonder what the seller will actually get?)
Listen, selling a house is insanely stressful! You deserve to splurge after that. Hope your bottle arrived safe and sound and that you've been enjoying it since! 💖💖💖
Hey Veronica, I consider myself a collector. I have some 300ish bottles. My collection ranges from drugstore trough high end indi niche. I have to say, I do not play with shy and timid fragrances, regardless of the price range. If we exclude the discontinued and coveted fragrances, I would pay different amount, depending on what the tier of fragrance is. In general designer, especially "new" or reformulated over $80 is a no. If we are discussing niche I would go up $200, before being putt off, but there is a big caveat to that - by Kilian and Tom Ford. Other than Intoxicated and Black Phantom (Kilian) and Ombre Leather and Black Orchid (TF), I would not buy a single other fragrance from these houses. Their prices are absolutely obnoxious for the poor performances they offer. For example I would much rather give $200 for a 100ml Amouage, than a 50ML TF, just no. PS: Off topic - I love your nail polish!
Hi there! 💖 Thanks so much for weighing in (and for the nail compliment)!! 🥰🥰🥰 300 bottles is a sizeable collection! So many beauties at all price points to enjoy. I know what you mean about Kilian and Tom Ford, although my experience with them has been okay in terms of performance (with the exception of my beloved Lost Cherry which just doesn't last the longest).
I am not collecting, but do need a solid number of fragrances for various seasons and moods. Above EUR/USD 250-300 I start scratching my head and look for similar scents, especially for daily wear. Rolling In Love, I look at ya...
Love your Videos!!! ❤❤ Okay so anything over $200 … I immediately try to get some kind of discount. I’ll search the grey market or find a discount code. It’s not about the price. It’s more about how much I can save 😂.
As one subscriber said before…I am a little extra too…between $400-$500 is a good ballpark for what I would spend on a fragrance I really want. 😂. I have splurged on 4 Krigler fragrances…the highest was Eleganter Schwan 06 that was $1215.00. However, that didn’t go to well with the hubby. 😳🤣. So…that one was PRETTY EXTREME. Needless to say…that is a once in a lifetime type of fragrance. I love your content….we have similar taste…keep ‘em coming girl!
Hi Desera! 💖 Thank you for sharing! Thr Elegantrr Schwan price gave me heartburn when I read that! 😁 Hope your husband forgot about it and you're enjoying it now. 👍👍👍
Nothing wrong with buying 8 to 10 Ml of an expensive fragrances. I just bought a 10 Ml of Valaya for 50 bucks. Regardless if it's more per ML most of us never get thru 100ml unless it's a signature scent and we have only a few which most have many. Just saying...there is a way to experience niche fragrances without breaking the bank. 🥰
I completely agree. I will never go through a 100 ml bottle before getting bored with it or it getting lost in the rest of my collection. I want small, even if the cost per ml is higher
I think my favorite size is 30 ml but I certainly have my fair share of 10 ml. I rather be able to finish it before I get bored of it. Now if I finish a smaller bottle and still love it and crave it then I will get a 50-100 ml
Hi Malerie and friends commenting here, totally agree! Nothing wrong with getting 8 to 10 ml decants if you want to try the fragrance and use it up. 👍👍👍💖💖💖

Hi Katharine! 💖 Thank you. Same here. I don't need nuclear performance, but a few hours minimum, especially for pricey ones.
I really love your content! You put so much work into it,you are funny as h..ll, and it is so much more than the neverending haul and declutter content.
Hi Ildri! 💖 Thank you very much! 🥰🥰🥰 Yes, sometimes we need a different vibe. 👍
You are SLAYING the cutout sweater! You are stunning!
love me some Kathleen Lights.
For me, $200 or up is DAS ESSPENSIVE!
Awww thank you, J! 🥰💖 Kathleen is a joy! And yes on that price limit. 👌
As soon as it hits the over $200 mark I feel it’s getting expensive. I’ve been enjoying discovering cheaper fragrances lately. At one point I was a bit of a niche snob but I’m branching out into designer and really enjoying them.
Glad you're exploring designers - soooo many beauties in that category to try out! Over $200 is getting pricey, I agree! 👌
See we are scent twins! I love iris Poudre too!!! It made my 2023 wishlist. It’s so classy and slept on.
Hey scent twin! 🥰 Girl! It's on Aura Fragrances right now - full size for $179. Run! 🏃♀️ 🏃♀️ 🏃♀️
@@VeronicaSays Thank you!
Thank you so much, Alexis! 🥰 $200 and under - so many beauties in this range to last a lifetime. Tabac Rose is underrated. Gorgeous! 💖💖💖
My limit is $125. I do buy from Mercari and on sale and I do use loyalty rewards Houses like Dior who have generous samples if you spend $100. I use the incredible Dior couture packing for family gifts
Oh that is smart to repurpose the packaging! Thanks for sharing your limit 🥰💖
OMG!!!!! You look amazing with your hair pulled back and I freaking love that top!!! 🥰❤️
Hi Vatrina! 💖🥰 Awww thank you kindly! 🤩
I love the way you describe fragrances!
Thank you Lorilee! 💖💖💖
Great video! Very original!
Thank you, Denise! 💖🥰💖🥰
Hi Candice! 💖 So many fabulous online sites to get great size decants from! We're lucky to be able to shop on this sites.
I appreciate the thought you put into selecting the fragrances!
Thank you so much for noticing, Gisela! 🥰💖🥰💖
For me, it's not so much about "affordability." It's more of a perspective that once a fragrance hits $200 and over, I pause as it better be a fragrance that makes my eyes roll in the back of my head 😉
I totally hear you on that, Danielle! 😁💯 We need rockets to go off 🚀
Exactly!
Agree!
Agreed! I'm willing to pay whatever they charge as long as it's truly exceptional and knocks my socks off. It can't just smell good. The "sock knocking" has to be proportionate to the price, by my standards 😂
@@theprousteffect9717 love the sock knocking = price rule! 👌💯😁
Why am I being nosey starring at the Liquides Imaginaire bottles on the desk back there LOL!
LMBO! I had just gotten new bottles in when I was filming this a few weeks ago. 😁😁😁
Just started this video, the lighting and camera quality for this video is AMAZING.
Oh thank you sooooo much! 💖💖💖
Over 150$ is a splurge for me. One I have to think before buying. You do look expensive Veronica! 👌🏻👌🏻🥰🥰 These blue tops suit you so well! 😘
You are so sweet, Julie, thank you! 💖🙏🙏 $150 gives you numerous amazing options. 👍👍👍
Dear Veronica, to me US$ 200 is a no cross line....so we do share few faves here:
Trajan by Electimuss replaced MFK BR540.
Welp with affirm. I bought Roja FETISH, Diaghilev, amber Aoud , as they were on sale at Jomashop.
Hi Matt! 💖 I hope these fragrances are all you wish for and more! 🥰
Hi..!!!.. Veronica looking gorgeous like always. For me the limit is no more than 250 and it has to be a MASTERPIECE ..!!.. 🍄🌺👗👠
Hi Sandra! Thank you so much 💖🥰 And I totally hear you! 💯💯💯
I'm learning how to make perfume and I would like to train my nose to recognize ingredients. So my limit went from $150 to $300. But I won't go over that. Thanks Veronica
Hi Veronica! 💖 Oh how wonderful! Are you taking any courses or teaching yourself?
@@VeronicaSays teaching myself...it's very interesting. Just making sure I'm familiar with IFRA restrictions. It's the alcohol that costs the most out of all of the materials. I just need a scale and I can get started.
@@mochacola72 looking forward to seeing/smelling what you blend up! Super cool.
@@VeronicaSays I will definitely share my journey with you. Thanks
Great choices! And looking fabulous sis that sweater is gorgeous! I have had the opportunity of smelling a couple that you’ve mentioned here and you’re right on the dot, definitely worth the money!!❤
Hey Moraima! 💖 Thank you so much, my dear! 🥰🥰🥰
Lovely video Veronica. I personally will never buy a fragrance that costs more than $200 without trying it a couple of times and absolutely falling in love with it. So $200 and plus is what I consider “expensive” for a bottle of perfume.
Thank you, Dani! 💖 And thanks for sharing your spending limits. 🥰
Keep up the great content! 😊
I tend to draw the line at €300 for 100ml, but I make exceptions here and there if a scent really knocks my socks off. Cases in point: The Harmonist Yin Transformation, Boadicea the Victorious Bodacious, Xerjoff Symphonium, Guerlain Angelique Noire, Fragrance du Bois Oud Jaune.
Those were just too good to remain levelheaded! ☺️
Hi Sybille! 💖 Thank you soooo much! I can totally understand paying up for the ones you mentioned. 🥰🥰🥰
Have you tried Guerlian Cherry Oud? It’s a beautiful fragrance and on my skin can last 10+ hours. The price tag is not outrageous either.
@Melissa Williams I have not tried that one, but heard great reviews!
@@VeronicaSays it’s definitely worth getting your nose on. For me it was a love at first smell.
@@PsalmsGirl thanks for the recommendation! 🥰
I love Xerjoff. So much!!❤️. Especially Erba Pura and Accento overdose
There are some wonderful frags in the lineup.
To be honest anything over $120 makes me second guess going through with a purchase 😬 (not that I haven’t or won’t spent more than that on a fragrance) Just starting this video- excited to watch! ❤ (I just asked Siri to convert, and $120 Cad is $88 American)
Hi Tammy! 💖 Totally reasonable. There are amazing fragrances up to $88 USD (thanks for thr conversion) 🥰🥰🥰
Yes, that conversion rate makes a difference for us Canadians!
@@breannacarels6479 yess! Like a $250 US perfume is almost $350 Canadian 😳 lol
Great discussion. Some fragrances are just worth it .
Hey Santa! I agree! 💖🥰
You look like a Movie Star on a press junket! Stunning! Love the look. ♥️♥️♥️. To me, fragrances are an art form, as opposed to an investment. Love the list! 🖤🖤
Awww thank you kindly! 💖💖💖 Yes, fragrances are definitely an artform. 🙏🙏🙏
For me over $ 300 is “ spensive ! “ but I’m like you I hate paying full price for them
Love your content and I look so forward to your videos every Saturday 🇨🇦💕
Awww you are so sweet! Thank you! 💖 And yessss $300 and over is esssspensive!
I like Accento Overdose. It’s classy and unusual ❤
Absolutely! A powerhouse floral.
I appreciate the criteria that you set for these fragrance. I have limited budget for perfume so I always want to make sure the perfumes that i buy is a real love. I learned the hard way that blind buying full bottles are not for the poor 🤣 much love from Borneo Island ❤️
Hi Michaella! 💖 Thank you! And... Honey, yes! You gotta be careful about those blind buys if funds are limited. Sending love to you in Borneo! 🥰🥰🥰
Good quality perfumes are expensive . but then you can enjoy more. Thank you for showing:)
Hi Gosia! 💖 I also have inexpensive fragrances that are fantastic quality! Thanks for watching 🥰🥰🥰
Great description of the accento overdose.
Have you tried it? It's a powerhouse floral! Love it.
Now you know I love Accento Overdose. It made me start buying Xerjoff.
I think Dolce Amalfi was my first one... ? I don't remember. But Accento Overdose sent me down the rabbit hole too. 😂😂😂
Great variety…..Initio can get all of my money. I love Santal Blush so much, I bought 2.
Thank you Jessie! Santal Blush is the bees knees!! 💖🥰💖🥰
This is an absolutely fantastic video idea! Love it. I adore your top! Gorgeous ❤

$225 to $250 that is my wheel house for luxury fragrances that MUST check all the boxes of the criteria you talked about
Hi there! 🥰 Thank you for sharing your limit! 💖
I love your top very stunning
Thank you, Jen! 🥰💖
❤️ this video xx have added a few of your recommendations to my scentbox calenders
Thank you so much! 💖 So glad it was helpful to you. 🥰
$200 + for 50 or 100ml....eh, it would have to be really really good. I will start hunting down dupes. (hello Amber oud rouge) I agree with you about lasting too, if I'm paying that much it should last most of the day...
Really cute sweater V!! Looking good chicky!💙
Thank you soooo much! 💖🥰 And thanks for weighing in on pricing. Those Amber Oud fragrances are tough to beat! 💯
@@VeronicaSays I think anything over 200 I would definitely get the eyebrow from hubby🤣
Oh my gorgeous friend -- you're doing your J.Lo look again!
Who me??? Thanks so much! 💖🥰💖🥰
Happy Saturday gorgeous! And I mean you are looking gawgeous!! $250 is my bar and it will take a beyond masterpiece to push it up.
Hi lovely Faith! 💖 Yup, we sound about the same. 🥰🥰🥰
Love the video as always ❤
I also bought a Dior palette from you that I am LOVING and getting so much use out of.
Your outfit is 🔥 fire you look absolutely stunningly gorgeous ❤
Awww thank you, Jen!!
That sweater is everything!!
Thank you! 💖
you mentioned 2 I just smelled and ordered!.. tabac rose and atomic rose. Trajan was in my basket buy sold out
Ooooh! You're getting two beauties. Enjoy! And don't worry. Trajan will pop up again. 👍👍👍
For me it is $350 & above but the performance has to be 8 hours or better, I agree with the arms length projection.
Hi Licio! 💖 Thanks for sharing your limit! I agree - we need good performance to justify some of these price tags. 👍
Hi Alma! 🥰 I can totally understand! Too much is just too much (although I have no room to talk 🤣). Have a great evening! 💖

Let's take a moment and talk about today's makeup 💄 and sweater 😍🔥🔥
Awww thank you so much! 💖💖💖
I'm from an era when I paid $120 for parfum concentration in a Lalique crystal bottle (L'Air du Temps). After the age of 27 I became frugal. For me the only thing worth paying more than $200 for is Coco. Mostly I buy stuff that's less than $100.
Yes, different era and totally different quality. Nothing at all wrong with being frugal! Thanks for sharing your limit! 💖🥰
Accento Overdose is so elegant and beautiful ❤
It very much is! So good. 💖🥰
Hey hello, great topic V!
I hesitate going over $150 for anything really but if it is that once on a life time scent, hello Iris Ukiyoue ... I go out of my way to find a sampler or even used.
Save for Iris U I flat refuse spending
$$ on scents with less than 8 hrs of longevity.
This is why I never owned Santal Carmin or Ambre Nue despite the fact I'm obsessed with both.
Thank you so much! 💖 Sadly, I feel the same about Santal Carmin and have it for sale now. I enjoy the scent but it's so soft and doesn't last very long. 😩
Looking fabulous today love the sweater the price I can’t justify going past is 270$ cad I know that’s not a lot for some people I just can’t do it
Hi Jakki! 💖 Thank you so much! You know, what counts as a lot of $$ for a bottle is different for each person. If 270 CAD is your limit, I dig it! 👍👍👍
Oh yeah, sometimes our faves are nearly half price if we shop abroad or go to discount sites. 👍👍👍 Thanks for sharing your price limit! 💖💖💖
Im very stingy but dont actually care to have full bottles for the sake of it so i have quite a few travel sizes of upper price range perfumes. Its well worth it as long as they are potent because you end up spending the same amount of money you would spend on a full bottle of a cheaper perfume that you have to spray more
Travel sprays are a great way to experience more pricey fragrances. I love that idea - thank you for sharing! 🥰💖
Aura fragrance has Iris Poudre! I think Amouage and Carolina Herrera Confidential- which you can find at discounters, if you watch closely, both fit this genre!
Hi Jann! I already purchased Iris Poudre from Aura Fragrances and it arrived this week. I love it! 💖💖💖💖
Hello Veronica,
I love that you come up with some great video concepts.
Take care! 💛
~ Jenn
Such a pleasure to enjoy your video :) thank you.
Thank you kindly for watching and commenting! 💖💖💖

Thank you, Frances! It made its way home to me. 💖💖💖
Love this topic. Of course everything is relative, but $160+ is more expensive to me. Can’t wait to hear your list!!
Hiiii Amy! 💖 Yes, totally. Expensive is relative for sure. Thanks for weighing in with your limit! 🥰🥰🥰
I'd say I could stretch to around $400 for a 100 ml bottle. However, I almost exclusively buy 30 och 50 ml bottles. Argos Danae, Precious liquid Mandarin and Xerhoff Torino 21 are my top ones
Hi Linus! 💖 Thanks for sharing. Purchasing the smaller bottles makes more sense when you have a lot of fragrances. 👌💯
Hi Ivan! 💖 Thank you! And... Wonderful, glad you enjoyed Santal Blush! Did you purchase a bottle?
Verónica, lovely print on your pull-over :)
Awww thank you! 💖💖💖
I use those criteria as well! I’m not going to drop a big chunk of $ if doesn’t have good performance. Great video!
Hi Diane! 💖 Thank you! Yes, we need some reasonable performance to match the price tag. 💯
I recently picked up Bvlgari Sahare. Le Geme collection.
Well worth it.
Thanks for adding this one!
Hi Suzana! I am interested in Rolling Love too and a few other Kilians but wow... those prices make me itch. 😩🫣🥴
Love your Videos!!! ❤❤
Okay so anything over $200 … I immediately try to get some kind of discount. I’ll search the grey market or find a discount code. It’s not about the price. It’s more about how much I can save 😂.
Haha! Me too. I got all of the ones in this video on some kind of discount. 👌👌👌And thank you kindly for the compliment! 💖💖💖
I really want to smell Tabit. Sounds so good! Esspensive is definitely over $200 for me too. It better last on my skin!! 😂
Hi Donna! 💖 Tabit would probably do well in Florida heat, I would think? Yes, over $200 and I want some longevity too!
I totally agree.
Hi Malerie and friends commenting here, totally agree! Nothing wrong with getting 8 to 10 ml decants if you want to try the fragrance and use it up. 👍👍👍💖💖💖
Love the video concept Veronica ❤ As for myself I would say it depends. I consider some popular designer fragrances “too expensive” at full retail, yet they are considered relatively inexpensive.
Thanks, Jay! 💖 And I totally agree. It depends, AND expensive is relative to each individual's financial situation and tolerance for pricing. 👍👍👍
Accento Overdose, that bottle is beautiful
I love it! 💖💖💖
My suprising fantastic fragrance that is reasonably priced but ticks every box you mentioned is Carolina Herrera original red.
Oooooh tell me about this one, please! I am not familiar with it.
The Scents of Wood bottle reminds me of the Christian Lacroix C'est La Vie bottle of the 80s
Hey there, the bottle shape of the actual fragrance I mentioned?
Santal blush is cool too
Yes! One of the loveliest sandalwood on the market. 💖🥰
