HI Veronica, I'm your fan from Israel. Lately I traveled to Europe and saw that "Jungle" by Kenzo is back in some Sephora and other stores. I was in love with this perfume in the past and bought it, and it's still one of the best spicy perfume.
Cardamom is my jam! I’m that person that pulls out old-school Kenzo Jungle L’Elephant in October; it’s a nuclear spice bomb 💣💣 thank you for the fun mid-week surprise video - excellent! 🏆⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I bought a couple of new ones for Fall, both affordable. Khamrah by Lattafah (Angel's Share?) and Barrakat Ambre Eve. Khamrah to my nose is like a cinnamon bomb in the opening. Ambre Eve is supposed to be a dupe for Grand Soir, I think. I'm going to enjoy them in the cool weather. ~Cynthia
Hi Cynthia! 🥰💖 Those sound like awesome choices. How's the weather in the mountains? We're cooler at night here and still very moderate during the day.
Veronica, it's very cool at night. Being in the mountains we generally have quite a cool-down from day temps, but the days are in the 70's and 80's still and it's more dry so still doesn't feel hot. I live for mountain weather! I can never live in the "flatlands" again!
I was actually born in Coral Gables, Florida and visited in 2000 to meet my biological sister (I was adopted at 3 days old and live my life from age 1 in Georgia). I felt like I was standing on a board, seeing for miles in all directions. It was a bit disconcerting! Give me my mountains for the rest of my life, LOL. As for this video, I adore warm, spicy fall fragrances, wish I could justify buying more.I It's a temptation!
@@frontporchwigchat6260 Years ago, when I was a teacher, I had a student who moved to Virginia from Arizona. She remarked often how different it was to see green grass and trees instead of the red, brown, and orange colors of the desert landscape. It always made me marvel at how "place" so deeply affects our view of the world. 💖💖💖
I love Dolce Amalfi so much! It's a transition from summer to fall for me so I'm definitely wearing it lately, but it's not super strong on me. I just got Tonka Cola but I haven't worn it yet. I mostly love cinnamon fragrances, but don't like apple pie smelling ones, and I'm not a fan of Angel's Share. Mostly in Sept. so far, because it has been pretty warm still, I am wearing a lot of my muscs and sandalwoods. I just got a decant of Gris Charnel Elixir and I like it more than original Gris Charnel and will probably want a fb eventually.
You can sit wherever you like Veronica. I'm just here to hear what you have to say about fragrance. Your vibe in any room will brighten it ☺️. I love Rouge Smoking BDK for this warm and spicy feeling
Hi Veronica, awesome video. This is my favorite fragrance family. I just love the richness. I just love my Cardamom fragrances. No matter what you combine the cardamom with, it is still delicious. Best option for me cardamom + ginger. Dolce Amalfi almost deleted all fragrances from my mind. If I have to stay with just one for the rest of my life, that would be the one. Another Xerjoff that really rocks my fall feels is Uden Overdose. Also, for whatever reason, I am craving lavender in the fall. Mon Guerlain is my fall easy reach. I don't see what occasion I might have that doesn't fit Mon Guerlain. I also, can't wait to pull out Libre Le Parfum, or Mancera's Sahahrian Wind. Mow, thinking about it, most of my collection is warm spicy fragrances... I just love them all. (OMG... Intoxicated by Kilian...) Now I want to spray them all. 🤯
Hi love! 💖 You are a woman after my own heart! You like fragrances with big personality and character. I'll sample Uden Overdose soon - you have me curious! Saharian Wind is BOLD and wonderful for the daring fragrance wearer. 💯💯💯
@@VeronicaSays What can I say, I love me the bombs! I wear them like a majestic superhero cape 😂. Shy wallflowers are just not my jam. And 'ts the season! 💖
Love your look, as always! Love your pumpkin nails & cozy sweater, giving fall vibes! We’re still in beach weather over here (high 80’s) in SoCal, but I can’t wait for the weather to cool down a bit so I can start pulling my fall fragrances! My fav cinnamon is Organza Indecence. It’s discontinued, thankfully I still have 2 bottles, but hopefully Givenchy will bring it back (they did once before 🤞). A few other fav warm spicy: Teissendu, By the Fireplace, and Coromandel. Can’t wait to wear those again! Love all your recommendations! Dolce Amalfi is such a fun one, so unique! I still need to try Tonka Cola!
Hi there! Thank you soooo much! 💖🥰🫶 Hope you get at least a bit of cool air soon! So awesome that you have backups of Organza Indecence! I'd love to try Teissendu. Would you believe I've never sampled that one? 🤦♀️😬
I absolutely love this category of fragrances especially in cold weather😍😍. I have said it before that my son always says that my winter fragrances smell like cinnamon 😂😂. I would also like to add Lune Feline, Eau Duelle, Sushi Imperial (although also aromatic), Bouquet Ideale, Divine Vanille, Invite Only, Jungle L’Elephant and Khamrah (recent acquisition). Stay gorgeous 🥰🥰
Me too, Pinkie! 🥰💖 Thank you for adding these! You'll see at least one in the upcoming vanilla video. 🥳🥳🥳 I tried Eau Duelle recently and thought it was lovely!
I love Extreme Noir, yes that Dolce Amalfi, Side Affect is nice pair with Skin Potion Sandlewood body lotion, Angel Share is a love in the colder months. I have a decant of Cafe Cabanel it's not bad.
Hi Theresa! 🥰 Oh I love the idea of the Royal Sandalwood under Side Effect - great idea! Now if I could only remember to grab my lotions. 🤦♀️ Skin Potion is "the business!" 💯💯💯

Hi Veronica, for me too a favorite spice is cinnamon. Diptyque l'Eau is a cinnamon bomb, around forever and fabulous. Adore Noir Extrême, you describe it well, so comforting with an effect of sweet spearmint to my nose although none listed.

Hello Veronica! Fun fact: Every time you mention Virginia… I reminisce of running off to undergrad in Richmond from NYC in the 90s at the tender age of 17. Following graduation at 21… I ran back home😂😂. It was so country to me at the time. NOW… I should’ve stayed there. I lived in Chesterfield off campus… loved the area! Love the video! 💜
@@VeronicaSays I went to VUU for undergrad. I stayed for 4 years… graduated and HAULED back to NYC. 🫤 It was a cultural shock because it was extremely country to me. I visited twice since then and it has significantly advanced.
@kerrimorton ah yes! VUU! Oh my goodness, I can imagine the culture shock. I'm from the Bronx so going anywhere outside of the city in my younger years felt like another universe. 😂
Hi Veronica! We have this candy in The Netherlands called Fireballs, and from what I understood Americans know it as Jawbreakers. When I tested Oajan that's all I got! I didn't see the appeal of it and I certainly did not smell any apple. I think I will test it again, just to see what I pick up this time, because honey is also something I discovered I do not like so I doubt I will ever get a bottle. And it also doesn't make me think of Angels' Share. Oajan is very lineair to the point of being boring, and AS is spherical in my sensory experience. I love your list!
Hi there! 💖🥰 Awww too bad about your Oajan experience! I think it's so wonderful! I don't find it flat at all. But I do love your description of Angels' Share as spherical! My mind loves that image.
Hey Veronica!! Love this topic! I love spice!! Today I'm wearing CJ Scents Ginger Chai. I can't recommend CJ Scents autumnal type scents enough! Everything she makes is gorgeous but her autumnal type scents are on another level. And they are BEAST MODE. I wore Kenzo L'Elefant yesterday. I always forget about the 🐘, (no pun intended, ya know, elephants, forgetful, nevermind LOL). It's a polarizing one and I LOVE IT!! Question about the Honey Aoud... I've noticed with a some of Montale scents, there might be Aoud in the name of the sent but there is no oud listed in the note breakdown. For example, Aoud Orchid and there are others too. It might be a dumb question but not really because that Honey Aoud sounds amazing but I can't do oud at all so I wouldn't even bother sampling if there is oud in it. "Woody notes", they always list "woody notes", so vague...I need to know what kind of wood we're talking here 😆. Because it could make it or break it for me. Thanks for a great video my friend!! ❤
Hey Jackie! 💖🥰 Awesome and thank you for the additional recommendations here! I got the elephant 🐘 joke! 🤣 Regarding oud in Honey Aoud, I pick up more of a general woody nuance, but other reviewers smell a soft oud so I would say to sample it first. Glad you enjoyed the video! 🥰💖🫶
Cracklin’ Oat Bran? Was that the cereal? I love that cereal! Even now, at 44, it’s my rare “special” cereal purchase. I also am I love with Honey Aoud. I enjoy perfumes - but not at the same level that you are at. And Honey Aoud is top 3 for me! But my “warm & spicy” #1 will always be (and has been since I was in 8th grade, back in 1992, wearing it and listening to Guns & Roses November Rain)... Yves Rocher Venice. It is simply the best.
Yes, Cracklin' Oat Bran! 💖💖💖 It's so hearty and yummy. Glad you love Honey Aoud. It's a powerhouse, and love November Rain despite the meaning of the lyrics.
Hi Veronica 🌹 I think a background just adds to enjoying the video. I prefer it. Oil Perfumery is always hit and miss for me. I bought two from Labor Day Sale, both will probably be donated to Good Will unless macerating improves them. I only paid $12 for each one🤷. Anyway, I have their Angel Share impression; it's beautiful. Apple Brandy is over the top booze, so I dab it. I've not tried the OG's of either. But I would recommend OP, regardless. * Tobacco Vanille impression was clove overdose, so I poured it over a paper towel cardboard. My guest bathroom smelled glorious for several weeks. 🙋✌️ I still want the Boucheron fragrance you reviewed, but I bought Attar Collection KN instead (love it). Xmas ordering will include getting a sample of Tonka Cola. I have never tried MANCERA! Btw, I sniffed "BIRCHWOOD" Diffuser oil by Homeworx. Geeze, it smelled like gasoline (you mentioned a candle experience). I'm not buying from this brand.
Hey Francine! 🥰 How is it that I forgot about the trick of soaking the cardboard part of toilet paper for bathroom scent? Thank you for that reminder! I've taken to spraying towels and bath mats for scent but I need to try the toilet paper thing. Oil Perfumery is great way to try various scent profiles. And you're right - the price point is undefeated! 😁 I'm glad you confirmed that strange Homeworx gasoline ⛽️ thing. It helps me not feel crazy! I hope you enjoy Tonka Cola. 👍👍👍
I adore cumin and it’s gorgeous in the fall. A lovely cinnamon is Amouroud Smokey Citrus. Thank you for this list. Some of my favourites are listed here.
I was going to say that cardamom is my favorite fall spice but it gives me more winter than fall now that I’m thinking about it so cinnamon bark is my favorite autumn spicy note 🧡 and cardamom is my favorite winter spicy note that I enjoy. Speaking of cardamom, please allow me to share with you my signature/favorite scent of all time, it’s called “Chai” by Baruti and it’s just so elusive, you have to smell it for yourself to understand lol
Thank you for the Chai suggestion! Someone else also mentioned it in the comments and so now I need a decant, naturally! 😁😁😁 For cardamom, have you tried Starlight from Xerjoff?
I like your bedroom background better but I don’t mind the plain background 😊😊 When I hear warm and spicy I’m hoping for cardamom, saffron, pepper, ginger, anything but clove and cinnamon.. but sometimes c&c are so well blended I actually like them in a fragrance!!
Hi Veronica! I wore Cinnabar years ago and loved it. I didn’t know it was still around. I will be wearing Chanel Allure Sensuelle and Spicebomb. Both fragrances are spicy, cozy, long lasting and no layering needed! Now, I don’t know about Dolce Amalfi. Do I want to smell like Juicy Fruit gum?😀
Hi Veronica, Fall is one of my favourite seasons for perfume. Warm cozy fragrances can really lift my mood when it gets chilly. This category could really get out of hand in terms of video length... It must have been challenging to choose and keep the number down to just 10. A few I am looking forward to pulling out are Chypre Shot by Olfactive Studio, Ambre Narguile by Hermes, Five O'Clock Gingembre by Serge Lutens, Tobacco Vanille by Tom Ford, Plum in Cognac by Scents of Wood and Bengal Rouge by Papillon Artisan. And an update on my Millésime Iris. It isn't like Baby Cat but that did come to mind on my first impression. The note that is in it that could verge on bothering me is the same in the Mon Guerlain Intense. It's that vanilla/musk that kept me up at night. I have no idea why it effects me so strongly... It's not in any of the Arts and Materal line but it is in a few of their fragrances and it hits me hard. I like the smell as long as I don't put my nose right on it, it's very pleasant and crowd pleasing. Can one say that about a Shalimar? 😆 It's not a traditional Shalimar. People who like Mon Guerlain Intense might really enjoy this perfume too. Thanks for your video. The background is so different in this video than your usual set up. It's less personal but still nice. 😉 Have a good day! 💛😊😆
Hiiii Jenn! 💖 Yes, these fragrances can really help to set a cozy and comforting mood! I agree and I love the lineup of recommendations you have added here. In particular, Five O'Clock Gingembre is one that I'll discuss in upcoming videos but deserves more hype. So lovely! Now, onto Millésime Iris, which I recently tried. Lovely, but I know what you mean about a facet of it that can be too much up close. I enjoyed sampling it and would recommend it although I am unsure if I would like a bottle myself. You are right - NOT a traditional Shalimar! 😂 Have a FABULOUS weekend! 💖💖💖
Hi Veronica, you were describing Montale's Fragrance and I was thinking of my favourite childhood b'fast "weetabix" with cinnamon 😊 Cinnamon is the spicy note which is Autumn/Winter to me. No wonder I am the happiest during this season for Starbucks Pumpkin Spice.
I would add Khaltat Night to this list. Apparently it's considered similar to Oajan. I bought it last winter, found it less powerful that expected but hoping a year's maceration has helped! Loving your autumnal look today Veronica ❤ I love Tonka Cola too. It's still pretty warm in the UK but hoping to be able to wear both these soon 🤞
Thank you, Fiona! 💖 I have Khaltat Night in the pinned comment. I found it super strong but I went nose blind to it and couldn't smell it on me after a while. Gorgeous fragrance!
Yes! ❤ Warm and spicy is my favorite category for fragances! I love the notes of cardemom and cinnamon, and tobacco, but maybe that's a different genre? I own and love a few on your lovely list, and now I am very interested in the others. Thanks, Veronica.
Hi Marielle! 💖🥰 This is one of my favorite categories also. 🫶 I would count tobacco as maybe a warm and earthy note but it shows up in many warm and spicy fragrances so I totally get why you mentioned it! Any fragrances come to mind?
Hi Veronica!!! I love the entire aesthetic of this video! The colors, the background, makeup, nails etc. This was a very calming video to watch. Love the fragrance choices too!🍁🍁
I cannot believe you just described Dolce Amalfi exactly as I just did a couple hours ago when taking to my husband about it! I adore this scent and so does he… I just hope it doesn’t get too popular… I love the uniqueness of it. You’re looking absolutely Fabulous BTW, did you do a video on this look?
Hello gorgeous! 🥰💖 Oh how awesome that you love Dolce Amalfi also! It is definitely unique. I doubt it will gain popularity because of that factor. I didn't film the look, but thank you sooooo much! 🥰🥰🥰
Dolce Amalfi is sooooo goooood...❤😊 I got a 30ml about a month ago and probably wore it a good 5 times since. I have to stop myself from only wearing that one... In sunny warm weather, it's great too, because of the juiciness. Can't wait to wear my Noir Extrême dupe, Khaltat Night and Angels' Share. But I need the weather to get a little chilier. Also enjoy the slight spiciness of l'Heure Bleue (carnation) and Café Chantant. Also really into anise and licorice notes.❤
Thank you Veronica! I enjoyed this video very much! I’m looking for a Wintry /Christmassy kind of fragrance. I’m going to watch again and make a list of “must tries!”❤ PS I’ve purchased great dupes from Julianna’s Perfume (especially)and Dossier.

At 8:43 Initio "Side Effect" and "Blessed Baraka" have something in them that clings to fabric(clothing or furniture/sofa) for several weeks. None of my other fragrances have clung to fabric for nearly as long as they have.. I am a little hesitant to wear them again becuase they do that.. The only full bottle of Initio that I own is Absolute Aphrodisiac and I don't recall it clinging to fabric for weeks 🙄
Hi Patrick! 💖 Yes, both of those fragrances will cling to you and to fabric like an octopus! 😁😁😁 I wonder what crazy chemical is in these fragrances... 😳
Side Effect by Initio is by far my most complemented fragrance. It beats Angel's share. I still absolutely love both of them. I would like to add Chai by Baruti to your list. Smells like a spicy chai Latte, and is a beast performer. Too bad my husband and my son both hate it with a burning passion.

Veronica, it's very cool at night. Being in the mountains we generally have quite a cool-down from day temps, but the days are in the 70's and 80's still and it's more dry so still doesn't feel hot. I live for mountain weather! I can never live in the "flatlands" again!
@frontporchwigchat6260 that sounds lovely! LMBO at the hot muggy flatlands life imagery! 😁
I can t imagine fall without the most emblematic warm spice perfume: my absolute fav Kenzo Jungle L'elephant.
Hi Andreea! 🥰💖 Many people love Kenzo L'Elephant! It's too much for me but I appreciate it's beauty! Thanks for sharing 🫶
Hi Christine! 💖🍂 Let me know your thoughts on Tonka Cola when you get around to wearing it. And yes to musk and sandalwood all year anytime! 🎉🎉🎉

Awww thank you, Esther!! 💖💖💖
You can sit wherever you like Veronica. I'm just here to hear what you have to say about fragrance. Your vibe in any room will brighten it ☺️. I love Rouge Smoking BDK for this warm and spicy feeling
Awwww thank you so much! What a kind comment! 🥰💖 Rouge Smoking is a good addition 👍👍👍

I love cinnamon, cardamom, clove... In fragrances & in my morning coffee 😍☕
Hi Sanne! 💖🥰 Yes! Nothing like a dash of cinnamon in hot coffee! What a great scent. 🫶🫶🫶

Cinnamon is my spicy note hands down and gives me that warm fuzzy feeling when I smell it
Yes, cinnamon is magical that way! 💖🥰
Oh Honey Aoud is so good! I need to repurchase this one. 🌹
Yes it is! Really strong! Thanks for watching! 🙏
Tonka and vanilla, yes also amber and cinammon.
Oh yes! And a fragrance with ALL of those? Yes, please! 💖💖💖

Kulfi is Indian ice cream but it comes in a variety of flavors.
DOLCE AMALFI is marvellous 😊
I love it! So unique!! 🥰🥰🥰
I love Extreme Noir, yes that Dolce Amalfi, Side Affect is nice pair with Skin Potion Sandlewood body lotion, Angel Share is a love in the colder months. I have a decant of Cafe Cabanel it's not bad.

Hi Anita! 💖 I don't do a lot of layering these days. Is there a specific fragrance you'd like suggestions for?
I definitely think of ginger and nutmeg. Ginger can definitely go year round but nutmeg, to me, is for colder weather. I haven't found that fragrance yet but I am looking.
Hi! 🥰 Have you tried Ginger Biscuit from Jo Malone?
I just ordered Dapper's version of Ginger Biscuit 🤞🤞🤞
One warm note that I love and don't often smell in fragrances these days is clove.
Yes! Clove can be so comforting and warming! 💖💖💖
Cardamom ginger and cinnamon in that order. I’m dying for a gingerbread fragrance.
I would add ivory route and Noel au balcon to the list.
Hi Penelope! Not quite gingerbread, but close - have you tried Ginger Biscuit from Jo Malone? And thanks for the additional fragrance names. 👍👍👍🍂🍂🍂

Hi Kerri! 💖🥰 No kidding? U of R? VCU? I imagine it did feel quite country then. The area has developed soooo much since then!

Hi Veronica 🌹
I think a background just adds to enjoying the video.
🙋✌️
I still want the Boucheron fragrance you reviewed, but I bought Attar Collection KN instead (love it).

Thanks, Tammy! I have a few upcoming videos I filmed in this spot for convenience. And yes to allllll of those notes! 🎉🎉🎉

Yes! You want to smell like Juicy Fruit! 😂😂😂 I think today's version of Cinnabar is sadly reformulated. 😬
Hi Veronica,
Fall is one of my favourite seasons for perfume.
Have a good day! 💛😊😆
Hi Veronica, you were describing Montale's Fragrance and I was thinking of my favourite childhood b'fast "weetabix" with cinnamon 😊
Cinnamon is the spicy note which is Autumn/Winter to me. No wonder I am the happiest during this season for Starbucks Pumpkin Spice.

Arabesque from the merchant of venice and sugar leather from une nuit nomade ❤
Hi! 💖 These are great additions! I have Arabesque and enjoyed sampling Sugar Leather.
I would add Khaltat Night to this list. Apparently it's considered similar to Oajan. I bought it last winter, found it less powerful that expected but hoping a year's maceration has helped! Loving your autumnal look today Veronica ❤
I love Tonka Cola too. It's still pretty warm in the UK but hoping to be able to wear both these soon 🤞
