I am definitely NOT a rose scent person. I mostly HATE rose scents, but DELINA and ATOMIC ROSE are MIND BLOWING, there’s not a single person that doesn’t compliment me when I wear Atomic Rose and my daughter when she wears Delina. AMAZING and I also don’t think Delina is becoming too popular cause I never smell on anyone in public.

Ani is so interesting. I get more of the citrus than anything else. And it doesn't last long on me. Just goes to show how perfume mixed with ones skin can completely change a scent. Even though Ani isn't quite "dark" enough for me I still enjoy having it in my collection.

I got a big bottle of Ani haha. Such a great vanilla. When I first smelled it it seemed like a simple perfect vanilla that I had always wanted to smell, but then my nose flipped and I can smell that pungeance more.
I love Le Lion to smell rich, Malesia, Alexandria 2, Coromandel.
I have and love iris Malakhan as well. It's so balanced between galbanum, iris, gourmand that it's almost humorous.

I have Naxos and love it by itself ! So fresh but blended beautifully with gourmand notes… an all year round gem. But I’d love to know some layering combos that make it more feminine leaning. ❤
I’m a woman whose male partner loves Naxos on me just on its own. but I’m experimenting layering it with Dulcis in Fundo by Profumum Roma because it’s a linear citrus vanilla. Hard to figure out the right combo or wear to layer because is Naxos is so powerful
The comments I saw were recommending something vanilla to layer with it! So I'm gonna have to try it with several of my vanillas and see what I like best. But yes, an amazingg fragrance on its own!

I love Iris Malikhân. It is better after a year in the bottle. I've used 50 ml and will probably finish my 100 ml bottle this year because it is so versatile. It is a deep love for me because I had to do the work to love it. I had to educate myself about Oris and Galbanum to appreciate it, and once you do there is no going back.
It's truly one of a kind!

I like Ani on other people but for myself I find it a little challenging to wear even though I like spicy fragrances…I do have it though, and I enjoy it layered with vanillas that tone it down. 🥰

All 3 times the answer was ... angel (the star shaped bottle ).. so I went into the perfumery and I bought the largest bottle angel that they had.....

I have this bad habit of not being able to wear one fragrance a day! Or either want to keep smelling it strongly on myself so I am either continually changing the fragrance throughout day or just respraying over and over to have that strong initially blast….I have a serious problem hahahaha.

Thinking about which scents I’ve tried that make me feel expensive…and I’d have to say the samples I’ve tried from House of Oud, although they were quite gourmand, Dates Delight and What About Pop, and I don’t always associate gourmand with expensive but they just smell so well composed and that knowledge that they come in those hand painted bottles.
Oh, and also Montale Black Oud, which is a lovely rose scent. Montale isn’t unattainably expensive but this particular one smells like the Emirati women who would waft by me with their oud perfumes when I taught in Abu Dhabi. They were in all black head to toe but with sparkly black embroidered beading on their gowns and with designer shoes and purses, very traditional yet very materially wealthy is how I would describe their look, and they smelled so damn good, just swimming in expensive middle eastern attars and perfumes.

On my skin I find Aaron Terence Hughes Boss Bastard to be a more feminine version of Naxos with a slight chocolate note

Ani, my favorite scent (profile). For me it's 100 procent unisex, leaning slightly more feminine. And honestly, this for me is gypsy water on steroids but without the prominent Floral note. (Own a travelspray of that one) I love Ani so much. My signature scent if i had one. You're right, it's a bomb and a compliment getter. Almost through my 100ml bottle. Got two backups and no regrets.🤭 I Will never grow tired of this.

@@blaiseroa7727 a year. I do about 4 to 6 sprays. It's really not that much of a powerhouse. It projects, yes, but on skin it doesn't stay long. On clothes looong. Mind you, I don't have 200 bottles in my collection. Used to have about 45. Gave me stress, reduced to just loves, 20ish, so yeah you go through your loves much faster. 😉 More excuses to buy a new fragrance.🤭I'm sure one you get used to ani you'll use more then a couple of sprays. It's not exactly oud for greatness. It's a citrus vanilla. I could bathe in it. 🙈 PS. I have a very good nose and very sensitive to scents and I don't get noseblind with Ani nor do i get headaches when using Ani more generously. It's ♥️

When I overspray Gypsy Water, in the opening, all i smell is Ani. But strongly diluted and with florals/aldehydes. Love gypsy water, damn it. Overpriced MF. 😏😉

Vanille Antique has been on my wishlist for the longest time ever, but OH MY GOD is it expensive. It is literally over SGD500+ here. I’ve been on a hunt for a good deal on this but have had no luck. Also the longevity isn’t quite beastly enough to justify the price 😭 (In comparison to Hibiscus Mahajad and Jusbox’s Cheeky Smile- SO beast mode)

@@thinklilly2708 both are completely different scent profiles from Vanille Antique. However, I’ve found that Cheeky Smile when layered with Kayali’s Vanilla 28, smells similar to Vanille Antique! I believe there’s ambroxan (or some other synthetic amber note) in Vanille Antique that is also present in Cheeky Smile (an ambroxan bomb).

Ordered Iris Malikhan from Maison Crivelli directly and boy does it have bad performance, when I tested in store it was strong. Two sprays lasted me for weeks on my outdoot jacket and projected.
My bottle is even different colour. So upset about that.
It has kess leather and a lot of that mimossa and almost no green quality.

Let it macerate for a while... Some niche fragrances need to be macerated to reach their "full potential" 😁

I wanted so badly to love Nishane Ani... But I can't. I enjoy the scent only for a short while when I feel citrus and vanilla. But then a smoke-bacon accord appear to my nose... Suprisingly, I like Ani on my husband. :)

With their price tag, you have to be either rich or obsessed with fragrance to own them.
Iris Malikhan is an okay scent in that it smells like something else, reminiscent of a vanilla. It does last and it is good in quality but, it lacks originality.
I think you are completely wrong. It's so unique- galbanum, gourmand notes and iris- like nothing else! Or please enlighten us what it's copying?
