I was surprised when season three aired. Mainly because the hype crashed with the episodes continuously being pumped with no signs of kid flash. Regardless, hope is on the horizon

Cosmic Wonder currently in the comics they are both the flash, they have similee suits but a little diffrent. Barrys is well you know, barrys original suit. But currently wally has a red suit with the hair sticking out and silver lightning. He is the flash for the Titans.

The Legion of Superheros has been teased at for season 4, so we could see The Legion bringing the team forward in time to get Kid Flash, or bringing Kid Flash to present time
Just got to say that I love how you specifically mentioned one well known trope about character death when it comes to the superhero genre, if there's no body or other physical proof that the character is in fact dead than they are likely not dead. And how you call out the way Jason Todd was brought back as that Red Hooded Ninja in season three is very suspicious since muttering the name Grayson, even more so after Ra's says something about the ninja's memories returning.

I think if anything, they might do a Red Hood arc, since Jason Todd is confirmed to be dead already in Young Justice, but hasn't become the Red Hood yet.

THIS GAVE ME SO MUCH HOPE. You dont know how many tears were shed during Wally's "death" scene. He was my favorite character from Young Justice; I couldnt sit still with them "killing off" my favourite character. It makes sense that he's trapped somewhere, trying to generate enough energy with his speed to get back. Or, that the League goes to save him.
Kid Flash is my most favourite character in Young Justice. I just wish that he will surely come back. I love your theory so much. Let’s just cross our fingers and hope Wally West returns in the Tv show Young Justice.
It would be easy to redo the Reverse Flash imprisoning a Speedster, since Greg Wiesman wrote that episode, so a little adapting couldn't hurt.

As pointed out so many times, even when a superhero/supervillain dies or seemingly dies, they always come back to life, with the only exceptions at best usually being in the movies save for Superman in the current DCEU. That would be my main reason why I don't think he's dead.

Ok, so I heard that in the comics Wally did in fact got stuck in the speed force for like a decade and was only brought back durning a war against darkseid, all aged up and with a CRAZY power boost, so I know we went two seasons without him being brought back, but if Razor (that red/blue/pepsi lantern) still hopes to find Aya after their show ended who are we to give up hope?
Besides it's not like the writers forgotten kid flash, and they certainly don't want us, the viewers to forget, he has had cameo and mentioned in both season 3 and 4, if he was really going to stay dead they would've left a body and stoped poking the wound.
However, ironic as it may be for a speedster I think it's going to take a LOOONG time for that to happen, as I said in the comic it only happened durning a war against darkseid, so probably the finale, specially since he is gonna bring like a real big power creep otherwise.

I agree with your theory although I don't totally rule out the speed force theory. I think it would be cool if they somehow opened up a gateway into the speed force and the team goes to rescue Wally and while they are gone there is no one to stop the meta-human trafficking so they have to deal with that when they get back.

Kid flash did mention in the series, that he gained his powers by looking very carefully at what the flash exactly did and copying it, which might indeed imply that there really is no speedforce

Wally was slower because he had mental blocks. Thinking he will never take Barry's place. Even when he first became Flash, he doubted himself. I forgot what storyline it was but he eventually overcame his doubts and became faster than Barry.
5:54 What if Wally gets stuck in the future, and instead of staying as Kid Flash adopts a new identity, aka Reverse Flash. Maybe he wouldn't be a villain, but there could be control chips or inhibitor chips (upgrades from inhibitor collars in the 21st century) which make or force him to turn. That or it might be a version of the future where Darkseid finds the Anti-Life equation and has control over the universe, and Wally being from the 21st century traveling to the 31st (going off of the Legion Of Superheros ring at the end of Season 3) he isn't under Darkseid's control, and the Legion of Superheros is a resistance group he made of people who he managed to free from Darkseid's control somehow. That or he's a lone wolf up against the entire might of Apokolips and Darkseid. He may also actually have gained the ability to run faster than Flash and Impulse as a result of either entering the speed-force or from something else, letting him manage to escape and hide from Darkseid when necessary, and disrupt his operations when and how he pleases.

I think that he is DEFINITELY coming back. The voice actor is back, and although this doesn't confirm it, I have a good feeling about it. Maybe Darkeseid could resurrect him or something. Since he might have gone to another dimension, I would say that Apokolips could be able to reach him with their technology or something.

I think it would be cool if he was trapped in the speed force and in order for him to get out another speedster would have to take his place. So Barry Allen could take his place and then Wally Could become the new flash and mentor Bart.

@@night2827 In the comics, after Wally emerges from the speedforce, he becomes THE FASTEST Flash. One time he ran faster than TIME. Now, if we're going by shown feats of speed, Wally is by far the fastest. If we're going by potential speed, there was one time when Impulse absorbed the ENTIRE speedforce and became the fastest thing that ever was alive.
I'm pretty sure the speed force is multi-versal, so it applies and exists in every universe in the DC multi-verse, the speed force is part of the source and, because of that, is always present.

If the Flashes' kinetic energy was being used to dispel the Reach device's kinetic energy, then it stands to reason that they were two opposing energies. Positive versus negative, even.
Which means that Kid Flash's weaker positive kinetic energy was attacked and overwhelmed by the device's negative energy, which vaporized him.
He wasn't supercharged by the attack, because he was still moving at the same speed. So time travel clearly didn't happen.

Cause they don't have a connection to the speed force. They don't give off the energy a speedster would, even though they are faster than most, but not all speedsters
Basically, the reason Barry Bart and Wally ran was because their energy would create a funnel effect sending the energy upwards instead of outwards. if superman and Shazam ran around, they would risk themselves for literally no reason as they don't create and energy field like that. Unless they plan on using the power of wind which would make virtually no effect whatsoever, they'd be risking their own lives for fuckin moral support. If you look up the mapping of the DC multiverse the speedforce surrounds all of the DC universes not including the godly planes of existence. This is the writers of DC comics telling the world that every DC universe is connected to the speedforce so everyone who says the speedforce doesn't exist in young justice doesn't know what they are asking about.

I like the theory that he travelled in time or travelled dimensions theory. Even though KF isn't fast enough on his own to do it, he was running behind Flash and Impulse so he could have siphoned off their speed, in addition to getting all the chrysalis energy, making is possible to travel in time instead of disintegrating. A speedster taking someone else's speed/energy to travel in time has been done before as well as the tachyon particles being used.
As much as I would love to see him come back, it would make his sacrifice seem meaningless if he just comes back

Fun fact: according the comics kid flash actually as a higher and an unusual connection to the speed force which is more connected than Barry himself, because of this strong connection he has abilities that no even Barry can do, but not only this also makes him the most fastest speedster ever.

I remember reading some Flash comics when I was younger in which Jay or Barry traveled to the others Earth to ask him for help and I hadn’t read all of the previous issues because apparently my mum thought they were all stand alone stories, but the way he casually mentioned it felt like switching dimensions is just a casual Tuesday for speedsters

I think the reason that the reason Zatanna wasn’t able to contact Wally’s soul in the end of season 3 is because when they said cease, they didn’t mean cease to be in this timeline, they meant he ceased to EXIST. Which is a darker outcome of what happened, his body AND soul were completely gone

I believe it will be time travel because if you remember after Impulse saves Neutron, there is a scene at the end where Neutron (as a human again) realizes that although he was saved, nothing else has changed. I think they will build on that and maybe more of Impulse's backstory will come out. That's what I'm hoping for anyway

The scarab was never clear. It only said, 'he will cease'. If you wanna get into it, it generally means 'stop' or cease to 'exist on this earth or time'.
I've always liked the idea of the Speedforce not being discovered in the Young Justice Universe and Wally disappearing was him discovering it and getting trapped. And maybe he could return introducing the Speedforce officially.
Edit: Maybe they could also have Wally pop up randomly in a future episode. The accident sent him in time to that very moment. They could have some stories about how everyone has moved on without him but he's stayed the same. Similar to Rebirth.
I'd still love for Wally to come back in a season 5 if they make it. I hope they do. I'd also love more time during the five years between season 1 and 2.

With the varying story directions and character focuses that's being done in Phantoms (season 4) it wouldn't be strange for Wally to come back and perhaps with Connor (assuming he got teleported before he "ceased")

Phocus that is something I'm not sure about. Why couldn't Jay help run though? Jay could have taken some of the load. Then the chance of one of them dying would be lower, and Jay is basically done anyway. He doesn't have much left to give to the world. If one of the speedsters had to die, it makes the most sense to kill Jay from a logical standpoint

768supersonic Apparently he was in Paris at the time when Flash, Kid Flash and Impluse were running. I don't mind Jay in, well, anything he's in. But It was a dick move on Jay's part for not helping. The Young Justice version of Jay is the only version I hate solely because of that scene. and this is coming from someone who didn't hate Jay in his other appearances in YJ.
Iman B I thought all the heroes had comm links, including speedsters and including Jay. He could've been informed of what was going on beforehand and rushed to help. But he didnt.
