The problem with DC at this point is the infiltration of identity politics. They want to try and change as many characters as they can to push their woke agendas. Any new characters that are introduced are almost guaranteed to be either bi, trans, non-binary, or whatever else. And instead of focusing on a good story, they try to force feed the readers by routinely putting their woke ideology into the story. The reason the Batman storylines haven’t fallen “yet” is because they done that, mainly because Batman storylines are the only thing keeping them afloat. They’re afraid to. When they announced Jonathon Kent as bi sales dropped dramatically mainly because they had his so-called boyfriend in every other story. With Cassandra Kane being lesbian and Red Robin being bisexual it was never really an issue because the story never focused on that. We never got any stories about their boyfriends or girlfriends because the readers don’t want it and the dropping number of sales reflect that.

if marvel & dc just adapted stories they would make better live action movies than what we have now. But with their 200 million budget they 'feel' its better to change & adapt storylines

See, originally superboy debuted after Superman’s death and took the celebrity route. He even copyrighted the name Superman and got an agent. When Superman can back superboy would go off on his own and make his home in Hawaii. It would be YEARS before either wanted anything to do with the other

This show had some incredible character building which is undeniable even if people dislike certain storylines.
