I don't get how there is a charge for $944 from the 7-Eleven she shopped at, unless the bad guy someone created another card and immediately bought a boat-load of stuff from the same store. Anyway, by the end of the decade, credit cards will no longer have magnetic strips. It will only be chip transactions or contactless. Skimming magnetic stripes will no longer be possible.
I would recommend that if a skimmer is found inside a store they should be held responsible for not checking their equipment regularly any ATM should have a system if anything other than a card is inserted an ear piercing sound goes off and the ATM is disabled untill it is repaired 😮
But the part they skim you from is the CHIP part. I havent slid my card anywhere in i dont know how long. All of these videos show the skimmer can take the chips.
That's not a charge that her account balance after the 3.22 deducted. That's how it looks on my banking app.
Those eyelashes looked like antlers.
Think of this the next time you laugh at one of us boomers using cash.
If these things are inside the store, it is ridiculous not thinking that someone from inside installed. Or I am wrong?
Why is there no security coverage of the card reader or is the owner or staff doing this?
How could this have happened? How on earth could someone replicate a difficult device screen?
Because they're good at it. That's how
90% of the time the store owner knows it on there and get part of the stolen money.
I have experience that someone who made a purchase on my debit card which is so weird because I didn’t even go places on that specific date and location.. thank you for this video and from now I will be checking anywhere I go for scimmer machines..
Allot of times it's the employees (or franchise owner) of the store.
I think If businesses still use this device, please do not pay with your credit cards or debit cards. This device is pretty much the target for the skimmers. The important question is, why haven't those businesses not changed this device with something better? So, it's the inside job as simple.
What's also true and NEVER mentioned is that these skimmers often have co-conspirators working behind the counter
with them. That allow the installation of the skimmers. These are high turnover jobs, ppl with colorful backgrounds.
The lady said “again??” Lol he looks so damn guilty 🤣
Thank you for sharing.
Don’t they have cameras recording customers? Wouldn’t a customer get caught on camera messing with the card machine? It has to be someone working there that’s doing that.
It's anyplace esp self checkouts where there is almost no staff supervision and you can easily move yourself and stuff to stash skimmers, remote readers, wireless repeaters so you can get credit card info while drinking and drugging in your car outside.... I had it happen in a CVS. Bottom line is STORES need to provide secure sales not pass the burden to 300 million US consumers to become electronic point of sale experts, carry wireless frequency scanners and decrypt signals in area...
When "my friend" was putting Joe Biden I did that stickers on the gas pump every day. The next day they would be gone. So if they care so much about stickers and take the time to peel them off why can't they take the time twice a day to inspect their gas pumps and POS terminals an ATM machines for skimmers?? Makes no sense to me..
I like seeing those Joe Bidumb stickers on gas pumps saying 'I did that. "
Any updates on this? Did she get her money back? Did they ever catch the perps?
0:33 - lifted up card machine n saw...
1:23 - ATMs r targeted
1:51 - doesn't work easily, any resistance take out card.
El Dorado🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 got you sliping🤡 we don't know who put that there .😂
I pay cash for EVERYTHING, no such problem
Isn't that just as dangerous ? How do you protect yourself ??
@@maryfimielkowski220 for DECADES, people ask "why do you wear a GUN everywhere you go ?"
She was buying cigar wraps 😂😂
I hope the bank refunds this mom's money. Truly sad this immoral wicked society just like in Noah's days and the immoral city of Sodom and Gomorrah. This system of things is rapidly coming to its end.
This just madness.
Thanks for telling us how to actually stop the skimmers! What a waste of time...
How are their purchases getting approved? Is the card being read by both the real device and the skimmer?
Yes - the skimmer reads it when it is inserted and/or removed, while the real machine reads it while the transaction takes place.
She's poor. The bank will find a way not to pay, and we need a follow-up. People with money have money to fight for right. Poor do not, and a bank looks at poor people as a drain on their time and services. Poor pay monthly fees, money people don't pay fees.
Wow what a pleasant person, hope she gets all her money back.
The thing that makes these scams profitable is that banks rarely reverse charges when a customer is scammed. My bank refused to reverse a scam charge
Check surveillance camera and see who put the card skimmer in .
Do these owner's check their machine's?
Are we to believe that the store owner knew nothing about this device?
Why is the lid on the card reader so easily removable?
It was a second identical lid haphazardly placed over the stock one. It might be 3d printed to be a little wider to fit over the original
Can they still get ur info if you use tap?
