I just got used but almost new , an SE Electronics Z5600A ii mkii tube microphone it cost me £195 . For this price i don't think i can get a better sounding microphone. I do have the Blue Reactor that i really love

I wouldnt be surprised if hes also making the cheap mics sound worse then they are since this is his entire youtube channel is making mic comparison shorts. The mixing is so obviously different to the seasoned ear.
@@KiLLJOY1056 The opposite could be true if anything, or it was done by mistake. Cause the $20 mic was not as loud as the other 2 and so it sit in the mix better.
@Linky_dinky I kinda get the logic, but you can make almost any mic sound half decent. It would have to be really scuffed to sound terrible if you've set it up right
@@Kwaarq i make music for a living and work on vocals. i have turned shit mics into ones that sound professional just using presets and whats disposable on fl studio. but some mics cannot be saved.

Hands down to the 2000 dollar mic, it is much cleaner and the overton is warmer, I find it really nice sounding. You also sing very nicely. Do you sing your own songs?
The cheapo sounds very thin and nasal, but it could be used for a certain color in some cases. The other two mics each sound substantially better, with the hi-end Blue definitely sounding best.
Good review Bro. To Me I love that 20$ mic because it sounds warm and crispy, followed by 200$ mic and the 2000$ has too much high frequency, pros don't like such mic as far as I know that it's a little trouble for mix.
$20 mic sounded ok in that mix, but I honestly thought you had a chorus or something like that mixed heavily into the vocal until you moved to the more expensive ones. I liked the $200 one the most. Is that a Blue Spark?
Not bad for a $20 mic. People can record demos on a budget and be happy. Obviously the 2k mic is more rounded and warmer. Perfect for tracking pro vocals. The $200 one sits great in the mix and can get home recording done.
$20 sounds like a cheap radio thing, sucks in my opinion, unless you do some music like the first song of kings of leon or so,$200 and $2000 mic sound nice (surprised by the $200 mic), but the most expensive sounds a lot better. Btw, loving your singing since forever lol
Love Blue microphones , the old models made in Latvia/USA their quality is amazing . The Spark is great and the Kiwi is the one i hope have one day . How would be the comparison without all the pre amp , compressor, chorus, delay efects? 🤔
The spark is really not that good when you compare a few others in the blue lineup. I have had the kiwi for a long time and used to have a blue bird. Sold the blue bird and got an ember, spark , and baby bottle sl. The best buy far is the sl. If you are waiting for the kiwi get an sl you'll love it
One of the biggest disparities you've shown in these tests. The 2k shines, but the 200 is very good, and even the 20 is perfectly acceptable, with a little tweaking it could be fab.
@@cassandrahuskey8866 there isn't. Im talking from my own experience. @@tephofficial207 I mean sound is subjective, but we can definitely say that the higher price microphone has a better clarity to them compared to the $20 mic. It also depends on the song being sang as in this case the $20 sounds great as it gives a nice effect to the vocal.
The last Mike's is always a tease they don't show the full😂 but that second Bluebird is killer though never mind that third one is killer it gets a little bit more clearer but that second one was cold though the first one can do some damage you can do a whole Banger with that microphone to
