Personally Abu Dhabi for work life balance. Much less hectic and traffic than dubai also there is more of a community in Ad as it is more family orientated. Also usually salaries are higher in Abu Dhabi as alot of government jobs are based there. Abu Dhabi is so peaceful and is the safest city in the world
Absolutely love Dubai. I’m moving there soon from South Africa and I can’t wait…. I didn’t feel a connection to Abu Dhabi so I wouldn’t want to live there. I also have a bias towards Dubai because I have loved ones there… Thanks for a short and to the point video lol!

Abu Dhabi is much costlier than other Emirates and difficult to get respectable jobs also. But not busy when comparing with Dubai. I was born and brought up in Abu Dhabi.
The jobs are few and far between in Abu Dhabi vs Dubai but the good jobs pay a lot higher in Abu Dhabi vs Dubai. My partner is looking at £250K base working for a government linked firm (as COO). The COO jobs in Dubai only pay £150k or less.
Watching this while going to mall in orderd by careem. Abu Dhabi taxi also do take card u just have to ask them. Abu Dhabi taxi are cheaper thn careem and they drive hella fast 😂😂😂 best option if ur in a rush
I am actually visiting soon and was going to stay in Abu Dhabi and do a day trip to Dubai but after watching your video maybe I should do half and half 🤔🤔🤗
Is there really THAT MANY tourists in dubai? It seems like Abu Dhabi is everything dubai is without the tourists but also it’s missing certain things or pleasures form dubai
Just to clarify what your friend said we have the Careem app here too 😂. And for finishing with apartments depends on the developers I've seen some really well done in that price range.
I lived in Abu Dhabi for about 7 months and absolutely loved it. For me the infrastructure was way better. It doesn't have a metro but getting around by car was much easier than in Dubai which really doesn't make sense often when it comes to the roads. Abu Dhabi is a more walkable regular city like how other cities around the world are build. I lived alongside the corniche and could just walk to the mall in the center. Dubai isn't a walkable city except for certain areas but only within that area and it's weirdly made as in it is stretched out and doesn't have an old city center in the middle like Abu Dhabi or other cities. Deira the old city is in the north. I do love Dubai but I prefer Abu Dhabi for living. There's lots of nightlife in Abu Dhabi as well. People make it out to be this sleepy city without nightlife. Which is maybe compared to Dubai true but I enjoyed myself even more than here in Amsterdam where I'm from... I went to beach/pool clubs every weekend it was so much fun. People who live in Dubai act like there's nothing to do. For me it's like saying LA is boring compared to Las Vegas. Like neither is boring. But of course everything becomes boring compared to Las Vegas. There's so much to do in Abu Dhabi. And even for tourists it still depends on what you like. The beaches are amazing in Abu Dhabi. So I prefer the beach there and recommend it for tourists as well over Dubai. Besides that you can go kayaking in the mangroves, visit multiple museums like Louvre, Arabic family house, the mosque and presidential palace. All amazing to visit. But of course if you want to see a futuristic city Dubai is the way to go. But I feel like everything else you can find in Dubai you can also find in Abu Dhabi minutes the 1000s tourists. The beach club parties in Abu Dhabi were so much fun and it was nice to see people multiple times instead of different tourist every week. Besides that I think Dubai has plenty of non touristy very calm places as well which lots of people seem to overlook. Just don't go to the Dubai mall and the fountain. And you can have completeyl empty places. I do absolutely love the fountain show though. It's my favorite place. But it has become too crowded in the last year unfortunately. I think both places are fun to live for all ages. I was 29 when living in Abu Dhabi and it's amazing for people in their 20s just as much as for people in their 40s with kids. Just like Dubai.
The areas I am looking to move to in the UAE are Saudi Arabia, Abu Dhabi, Qatar, and Oman. The thing I have to touch on is when you lived there (aka Dubai as I asume you're in South Afican now, I'm not sure) where on earth do you get your hair done? My hair is natural so I will need to get it braided. My other main concern is church. However, I will figure that out when and if I can make the move a reality. I really enjoyed Abu Dhabi although I wasn't there for very long, however, I did prefer it to Dubai I must say. I am a lot more low key.
I used to work in Saudi Arabia (Riyadh) and for church they have fellowship / Church at the British high commission every Saturday, which used to be there Sunday in Riyadh. Hope that helps.
@@dansmatt2708 do you know if there are any Catholic or orthodox Churches in those cities? My husband and I‘ve been thinking about moving to the UAE but not being able to go to church was one thing we’re having a hard time compromising on.. also I assume the masses would be in English too?
For fat conservative and love, life, balance, and less traffic way less traffic Abu Dhabi to go If you're a religious Muslim person and you are with a family go to sharjah or second option abu dhabi I choose to fly to a tea hot Abu Dhabi because it's the first class is like 50% cheaper than Emirates even more
Which is better between Abu Dhabi and Sharjah for a software development engineer? I think they are on different sides of Dubai (which is in the middle of the two). So maybe living in one of them and going to Dubai for fun is the best option?
It’s safe everywhere, I don’t think you’ll have an issue with safety. If you’re an expat you might want to Google most common expat areas to meet likeminded people
We are considering moving from a Suburb of Toronto, Canada. We are both IT Professionals in the Banking industry. It seems your friend works in the Banking, can we connect. Abu Dhabi has much more to do then Dubai. The Bars and clubs in Abu Dhabi are in those glass towers all around you and not on street level as in Dubai. You can be in a Epic nightclub in Abu Dhabi on the 50th Floor. There's only one difference between Abu Dhabi and Dubai. Abu Dhabi has more classy clubs then DXB and less prostitution',

I think it’s not fair to compare anywhere in the gulf to Dubai, since each area serves a unique purpose.
Most people know Dubai, so using it as a benchmark makes sense for people not from the region

Saudi, Qatar and Oman aren’t part of the UAE.
Why don’t you stay where you are. Trying to move to muslim countries looking for a church. You missionary minded people are dangerous.
