Conceit at 5:00 is my favourite :’) I love how it’s literally just all of them looking down at Isabel’s foot before she literally steps on the enemy. So absurd.
Isabel is my favorite character to use in battle. After Georg of course. :)

Hear hear. Pretty much all of my favorite JRPG franchises are in a sticky situation. Suikoden is stuck with Konami, Shadow Hearts is stuck with Universal Entertainment Corp. (formerly Aruze), and Capcom turned Breath of Fire into a mobile game.
At least Shin Megami Tensei and Persona are safe with Atlus and are treated properly.

Spiritual successor Eiyuden Chronicle is in the works!

I'm going to say the same thing, here look so bland, empty, ugly, broken and poor quality. They shouldn't busy with 3d design, they should design it simple but colorful and beautiful.
Haroon Rancak This came out almost 10 years ago jack. The graphics were top notch for PS2 when it came out, along with Silmeria and FF12.
Andrey Peena Have you seen suikoden tierkreis that game was on a more primitive console and the unite atks were better executed also the ones that came in tactics weren't to shabby either. This ones had no effort put into them, they are at least there tho.
I still personally think suikoden 2 is the best JRPG of its time....right along with lunar silver story and FF8...just my fav games...please no stupid comments.
In case anyone is still wondering about the 1st BGM, there was a special short soundtrack CD released along with the game (at least in the US). This album had this up-tempo remix of The Dahaka's Departure, which was called "Admiral of the Seas". Also, the up-tempo Queen's Knights is awesome. True i mean think of the things that made Harmonia interesting they got guns, The Howling Voice Guild, 2 Interesting political groups The Temple Faction an People's Faction witch could be a basis of a War, an interesting premise for a good story, with many interesting characters which can be exploited.
It's just sad we get Suikoden Tierkreis a spin-off of the main series (Which i think it was somewhat a bad move considering not many people knew about it or it's release) man Harmonia had potential to it's name.
There’s a game coming up called Eiyuden chronicles which is a spiritual successor! It looks amazing!

I have always wondered why is Nelis considered so beautiful (at least in game), to the point that she has that unite with Sialeeds and Jeane, even Kyle changes his "join the entourage" quote if she is already in the party.

Suikoden 5 should of been the Suikoden 3 of the series. Had great elements from the first two and added new features. The series was already on a downfall though by the time it was released so it never got the recognition it truly deserved.

I love Suikoden! 2 reigns supreme, then 5, 1, 3, 4. Also, most of the unite attacks don't make sense as to how the unite members are related eh? But I guess they know eachother offscreen.

my fav game, but i saw lots of good review for suikoden 2, havent played it yet :( i have only played 1, 4 and 5
2 is usually considered to be the best of the bunch amongst fans.

VERY good game, i think developers went back to Suiko 2 times to make this one, it have the same conception. but i think S2 have all the credits, this one could possibly be at second place.. in the fight with S1
I actually think the ending with Georg was better. The cinematic with everyone on the ship waving goodbye was just beautiful. The supposedly "good ending" with Lym was too short and offers nothing than the chance to see Prince and Lyon in their Queen's Knight costume (which I admit was pretty cool btw).

I loved this game for what it was. Didn't really get into S1, S2 was awesome, S3 was alright. 4.. just played maybe 2 hours and totally regret what I had bought..

No idea, it was a hell of an amazing game, especially after the dross that was Suikoden IV. The load times were a bit of a chore like rvlast said, but still, it was a blast.
Nahh Suikoden 2 was the pinnacle of the series.

don't know why people complain about 5, I think it's the best. It took whatever 2 had and improved upon it. The duels and major battles are real time which makes it so much more challenging. In terms of character depth it's the deepest as almost every character has decent backstory and the manual recruiting always had some challenges, unlike the previous games where some characters would join you randomly after you ask. In 5 even the merchants have very good reasons to join the cause.
Suikoden V- no Luc no Party
You can play as Luc (main character) in Suikoden III. He is so handsome and cool.
lol yep that was my only complaint with 3 the characters were proportional but after playing tierkris doesn't even matter.
Tierkreis is the most I unlike for the 3d character. But the story+music+theme is very good.
My fave and mos t used character is VIKI
Yeah..Viki is much powerful here...because of magic chain skill...if she could be equipped with magic absorb rune...what an immortal character....

I miss this game but, still loved Suikoden III. I missed out on IV. Creation was the skill I liked and fave chars were Ernst and Cathari.
Suikoden III is the best title of Suikoden franchise. I miss it so much. I still remember the extra story line only can be unlocked if you find all 108 companions .

They make it recently but it not Suikoden anymore, it calles Eiyuden.

Given that this was a PS2 game, space on the disk would not have been a problem, they had 4.7GB to work with, and no PS2 game I've seen has ever used all of that. (The biggest I can recall was Persona 4 at 4.4GB.)

I play all suikoden games and completed s1,s2,s3,s5 and tactics. I reckon they were abit lazy whiles making s4, it put my off when I saw tons of cut and paste characters. I remember s1 is the very first ps1 rpg came out before ff7. s2 and s5 are my favorites, I still have the s5 official guide:)
