Thanks Scott! I'd recommend a bridge hum bucker pickup (Bob was likely using his Flying V) and a basic distortion pedal (like the MXR Distortion + that Bob used). You could play it through whatever amp you have, but around that time Bob used a Yamaha G100 head through a 1970s Fender Silverface Twin Reverb. Really just us a fuzzy distortion with humbuckers and it'll sound pretty authentic. I hope that helps, Scott!
