If I remember correctly the sacrifice value is based on the initial mass cost of a unit, so for SACUs you should use the most expensive template out of the gateway. (And sacrifice them into a GC right on top of your enemy.)
I just did some test, and yes the more the SCU cost out of the factory, the more it can sacrifice. Upgrades you do afterwards (like teleporter) do not count towards the sacrifice value. So the best SCU to sacrifice is the RAS template.
do not forget the eye of rihanna. special building costing a lot of power 5k power to activate it, 1k power to keep it on. you can watch parts of the enemy base without getting even close to it and the enemy does not even knows whats happening to him.
another note with the absolvers is they work against personal shields so if you are fighting another aeon having a few of these in your unit mix will give you a massive advantage, truly a very underused unit imo
I never managed to snipe an ACU with my CZARs crashing. Great video, surely helpful for those new players! (although the faction itself is difficult due to amount of microing you have to perform)
I originally found this game for the Xbox 360 about 10 years ago I really enjoyed it very cool game. one thing I notice about the Navy is one of the ships (I can't remember which one it's been so long) fires two torpedoes out the side.
You left out the fact that the CZAR is essentaly a aircraft carrier and can produce and repair aircraft. (and good to note also, it can not produce mercies)
The Donut aircraft carrier is the fastest experimental in regular FA, I believe. Kinda scary that something that cheap and versatile is also so stupidly fast.
The gun upgrade on the ACU is almost exactly the same as the others: double DPS, increased range. Separated into two cheaper upgrades. The only advantage is the RoF upgrade instead of bigger shots.
The AA gunship is so good at killing asf. If you are fighting multiple people with air by yourself, AA gunships combine with asf can win against 2 asf swarms
Has sacrifice been nerfed in FAF ? Or is it just that GCs cost much more now than they did in the original Forged Alliance ? I think I remember being able to make a GC out of 6 (or 8?) teleporting sACUs, but it looks like it'd need much more than that now
The reason the GC progressed less here is because he built unupraded SCUs from the quantum gateway, instead of RAS preset SCUs, cause in reality, the game looks at the BASE cost of the unit from the factory, and not the CURRENT cost with upgrade, and since ras scu is the one that costs the most out of the aeon presets, you need to use them for tele SCUs
True, but ims I did that in the Steam version of FA, and you couldn't build preset sACUs back then It must be that T4 cost much less in the Steam version, you could spam them quickly compared to now
The sacrifice is a broken mechanic that will never be used and in near future probably get deleted. Right now it s unusable due to it having insane exchange rate (you overpaying by insane amount)
No one uses sacrifce bro...aeon has low build rate and burning engis makes this problem worse. If you have to sacrifce something has gone wrong and you are about to loose lol. Aeon/Cybran have distinct advantages at t1 and t3. At t2 you will get shredded by UEF/SERA
There's actually another reason to build a second (and even third) paragon: you can give one to an ally. The resource sharing doesn't really work with the Paragon (because it only produces if you use resources).
You literally just talk about random facts I wouldn't follow these videos if you want to learn. Look up brinkofsanity and find his tutorials they actually have structured sense with reasoning. They maybe like 10yrs old bit they are still relevant
Yep! Again, it is a short tips and tricks video highlighting obscure features, not a comprehensive faction guide. To anyone reading, I do highly recommend BrinkOfInsanity, he does have some great in depth faction guides!
@@TheGreenSquier I have to say, the Combat Fighter for the Aeon is tremendous advantage over other faction fighter bombers. While it lacks the air-to-ground attack and total HP of fighter bombers, their inexpensive costs and GREATER SPEED allow them to rest-control over the air over other factions in tech 2. Its good enough to still do its job in tech 3 battles, the speed advantage allows it to more easily evade flak bursts, which give fighter bomber and gunships trouble because of low speed.
@hideokojima2015 its not about the stat's. Most new players do not understand the units. Or the units specials, how they stack and how to stack units with specials with basic units to make combos. Brink explains this and very well that's why I believe he is good Im a average 1400 because of these videos. For example his navy video gives massive insight into tactics I would have never realised that Seraphim destroyers vs UEF destroyers is op early game simply because you can submerge and win via superior subs. Lots of players have no idea about simple little things like that just knowing from when I first started boosted me very quickly to over 1k Brinks videos are fulllllll of little explanation like that thier big long and yeah well that's how long a good faf goes for very long time. The more unit understandings you have the better

Faction Tips - nice series, waiting for the other factions!
Great guide bro. Love the calm setting and controlled dialoague.
This was really helpful keep it up

iirc the aeon strat smart bomb feature was removed in forged alliance, although the description still remains.
Thank you for these tutorials, just started the game and these are very helpful.

Seems like the donut always goes down about 15 seconds before it does what you need it to.
I did not know harbs could repair and assist building! I thought they only could do reclaim. Harbs are awesome 👌🏻

I thought a new patch nerfed the construction ability? not that I've noticed its absence, never used it..
