Gunships: It was true that Renegade and Soul Ripper were originally the only gunships with splash damage, but the Aeon Spectre now also has a splash weapon, so Cybran no longer has a monopoly on that. Loyalists no longer stun Exps or ACUs upon death, only units up to t3. Instead, their burst laser was given a stun property that can effectively stunlock t1 and t2 units that get hit by it, making them quite a bit better at the early t3 phase. They're also still the only mobile TMD in the game, and reflected missiles are not registered as hostile when being reflected, passing right through enemy shields and TMD. In the next FAF patch (slated for tomorrow), Billy nukes will no longer be reflected by Loyalists. The Cybran Trident frigate is at the time of writing by far the best in its class, and many consider the faction essential on navy maps because it's so strong. It's about to get a slight nerf, but probably not enough to knock it off the top spot. In the lategame, If a Cybran ACU is equipped with cloak and laser, it is not possible to telesnipe it with another ACU. The cloak ACU has far more HP and will always win the fight. Also, when counting Overcharge, the Cybran laser ACU has the highest DPS of any land unit in the game (without overcharge, the Monkeylord barely beats it out at 4500 DPS, vs 4200). The Cybran SCU is the only one with access to cloak and stealth, making it great at grabbing high risk contested reclaim in late game. It's is also the original mobile SAM unit with it's AA upgrade, before the t3 MAA units were added in FAF. Other Cybran trivia: * The Mole is the only unarmed land scout, and has an unimplemented deploy function that would have worked like a mini Soothsayer. * The Siren cruiser has an air staging platform on its stern. * The Megalith can be used to reclaim experimental wrecks very fast by placing an egg build order on top of the wreck. * The Cybran nuke's outer ring is the most powerful stun weapon in the game. * The Dragonfly t2 transport has an EMP gun that can stun t1 and t2 units. It's particularly useful against unprotected destroyers. * The Scathis is the only experimental artillery that can be built underwater. It also cannot be rebuilt on its wreckage, as it is technically a land unit.
10:00 - I think Mercy also falls under the category of 'suicide units'. To all the newbies out there, Mercy is an Aeon T2 guided missle that can be produced in Aeon air factories. It has a very small pool of health and not much fuel, but the damage it can inflict, in my opinion at least, compensates for that.

I may be wrong, but i'm pretty sure T2 aeon gunship also has a splash damage. And a very good one. It has great burst damage with a small aoe. It's especially noticeable well attacking a pack on tightly clump units like t1 arty on attack move order, or units freshly out of a transport.

Yes, the more engineers you add, the faster units build. If you add 100 engineers to an experimental, it will build 100x faster (assuming you don’t stall on energy or mass). Join my discord if you have any more questions, we have lots of people who help beginners learn the game!!

I know you already put out a correction comment, but for anyone interested, the T3 Wailer was originally released with just jamming, and Forged Alliance Forever swapped that to Stealth (which does make a bit more sense that the sneaky faction is being sneaky).

love this game wish it was better optimized. so many of the units for each faction look beautiful. although i like total annihilation more in terms of gameplay i like supreme commander for the amazing battles and beautiful units, and the ai is fun in supreme commander as they like to spam tons of t1 units so the battles are super epic, just my computer cant run the game properly oof

T4's do not get stunned by loaylists. It was in 2014 or something but no longer works. Also cybran destroyers are not even close to being cost efficient as bricks. Salemn is 2k mass cost and brick is 1k but single brick has 2 times the battle capability then salemn.

I'll just say it they are a rush faction thier units are cheaper they are quicker usually they have the cheapest land experimental they are about rushing their opponent stand off tactics are not their prime objective

Mercy only has ten HP. It can be one-shotted by just about any t2 or higher anti air unit.
One more funfact about the crab: it is faster under water than on land.
And if you place it just the right way on the shore, it can use its main battery and the torps at the same time

FAF added T3 Cybran AA. That's not in FA/the base game, which is why the Megalith can build the T2 Flak as a substitute.

The Tech 1 *Jester* gunship is a strong advantage. Its basically a Tech 2 gunship, without the HP. The DPS is very similar to Tech 2.

The fire beetle isn't the only suicide weapon in the game. Aeon have Mercy's. It is the only land based suicide weapon in the game.
