    I really enjoy watching your conversions . You share a lot of good information.Was wandering if you could make a video on a interior conversion on a 1965 coupe to fastback?

      Yeah I’m planning on a series for the 1965 conversion in a little bit. Great suggestion.

      I have one fastback quarter for a 1967 mustang...I need a few more parts and I was thinking about doing a meet up with a bunch if us who are interested and a 24 hour conversion of Suzy... She could be a beater drag car or something.

    You can get a title by doing the Vermont loophole for titles on older cars

    • @ScottHarness1
      @ScottHarness1  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I had a couple guys mention that...I am going to try and get a title just like that. Thank you for the insight.

  • @punkbomb1
    @punkbomb1 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    Hey Scott you can get a title for Suzy through the state of Vermont relatively cheap. If you Google Vermont out of state title process you'll see just how easy and legal it is. Just a thought good sir. Could be another great car for the road since it's a nice shell.

      @@ScottHarness1 you're very welcome Scott. There is also a company that will do it for you for 150-200$ if im not mistaken and its a group of lawyers doing it so its got to be atleast halfway legal right? 🤣 glad I could be of help and service sir. God bless.

    will she become a Steve McQueen, omage bullet fast back ? dark green and those whiplash bucket seats ?

    • @ScottHarness1
      @ScottHarness1  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Man I do love the bullet car... Probably going to be a little lower, few more modern components, but still a real street car, daily driver. The kind when you get in it and are going to work you will be smiling.

    • @ScottHarness1

      It will always remain a coupe on the title.

    Could this be done to a convertible?I bought mine before watching your series and now I’m thinking I made a mistake.

    • @ScottHarness1
      @ScottHarness1  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Are you wanting to convert a convertible to a Fastback or Coupe to a convertible? Both are possible for sure. The convertible is a more stable car because of the stronger frame rails.

    • @robbietizzle
      @robbietizzle 11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@ScottHarness1 thanks for your response! I bought a 1968 convertible with no title, I know, didn’t see that part beforehand either. I always wanted a fast back but it has gotten further and further outside of my budget. Shells of any kind for a decent price started looking fewer and further between so I pulled the trigger on a CHEAP convertible. The frame looks decent , floor pan a little rusty but drivers side shock tower is toast. Would you consider this a fast back candidate? And are there any major differences with putting the conversion kit on. I’m open to outside of the box thinking too. I saw a fast back hardtop for a convertible online but I’ve never actually seen anyone that makes a product like that.

    • @ScottHarness1
      @ScottHarness1  11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@robbietizzle Absolutely it is a great candidate but are you sure you want to convert a convertible? What I mean is they are sought after as well... If I were you I might do the work to the convertible and get it to a roller and sell it. You might could make you some money to add to your fastback.

    • @robbietizzle
      @robbietizzle 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@ScottHarness1 thanks I didn’t realize they were that sought after. I did find a fastback hard top company out of Florida called removable fastbacks. I think I’m going to go that route. Do you think a shock tower assembly is too big a problem for a backyard mechanic to tackle? That seems to be the biggest obstacle in making this one a roller.

      I enjoy watching your video, Sir! I have myself a 67 Mustang vinyl top that is a perfect candidate for a fastback. I’m going to watch all your videos multiple times as I complete the process. I appreciate the time you took to make them.
      Finishing them is what I’m good at. I’ve been driving old Broncos my whole life. I’ll knock this out of the park!

      No sir. But finished is a relative term. All of the progress is on the videos. It’s a finished roller, starting the interior; engine, and trans.
