Prof Alan Barr gives a particle physics masterclass at a grammar school in his hometown

Prof Alan Barr, Professor of Particle Physics at the University of Oxford, travelled to his home town of Limavady in Northern Ireland to visit the school where his mum use to teach and treat students to a particle physics masterclass.
The students are taking part in Big Data: ATLAS, developed by IRIS, in conjunction with the University of Oxford and the Rutherford Appleton Laboratory, to empoer young people with the skills to explore their own questions in particle physics.
