I'm a veteran. I was a 12 star general in space force. My rank is E39. I have 17 purple hearts. I have 7 medals of honor. And a super bowl ring. Thank me for my service.
She worked with actual marines, that how she got her stories and records. It’s pretty wild when you see that the VA took really good care of her while actual vets suffered.
I'm a disabled VietNam vet.. the SECOND I saw her salute I KNEW she was a fraud. I was on an aircraft carrier and was around Jarheads quite a bit. NEVER in a million years would one ever stand and salute with their feet apart! To those that served R E S P E C T. Never forget P.O.W / M.I.A.
Or our left hand not cuffed properly. My Dad was also a disabled Veteran. 3 tours of Vietnam with the 1st Calvary Div. Sadly he passed away three years ago. He was salty as they come. Welcome home sir! Rah!
My father was a 12 year Marine who fought in the Pacific in WWII at Iwo Jima. He left the Corp a Gunnery Sargent. He never spoke of his days in combat, and although his dress blues remained in his closet until the day he died, he never wore them again. I could sense that he had a certain feeling about his service, but it never appeared to be pride. It more resembled humility, and love for those that served with him. He was, and will always be my hero.
It was said that my father fought in New Guinea during WW11. He never talked about it at all. If you ever asked about it he would say a couple of words and that was it. After he died I had a strong suspicion that he never actually served at all, since he acted as If it never happened. So, off I went to where they kept military records and gave them his name. To my surprise the young fella wandered off and came back with a stack of papers in his hands, they were my father's military records. What did I find out? Hospitalised from an explosion during traing. Two tours of New Guinea. Six months of mopping up and the internment of the enemy. Over six months of being bombed In Darwin. All this and he never said a word. He never claimed his medals. He never belonged to an RSL. He never attended an ANZAC Parde or even bothered to watch it on TV.
My uncle served in the Pacific in WW2 as a Marine...me, as a little kid, asked him what he did in the war...he paused, stared off into space a few moments then quietely replied, " I survived." He never said another word about the war.
OMG! That woman worked at the VA and stole records! As a retired VA worker that absolutely sets my hair on fire. There's some really sketchy people working for the VA, but this one takes the cake. It's scary how much info is available to bottom of the food chain workers. This one wasn't too smart if she stole the DD-214 of a person of a different race. The Purple Heart alone would get a Vet 100% Service-Connected disabled distinction. They get the fast track to their VA benefits. Just wait until HIPPA gets their hands on her. She be going to prison.
My grandpa served in korea. He has two purple hearts. He healed up from grenade shrapnel in his back and went back to fight. So you dont get retired as soon as you get a purple heart. At least not back then.
My dad only began receiving benefits close to 40 years after his service in Vietnam. His words were, "somebody else deserves it more than me". When he retired after 43 years w/ GM, I urged him to seek out what HE deserves and he did. He will be 75 soon and although he has service related illness and being shot, the VA still haven't given him 100% yet these asshats are trying to pull off this BS! Thanks for sharing this and glad she got called out! Y'all stay safe out there.
My Dad was a MM/3 in the Navy during WWII and had rheumatic fever. He was discharged with 100% disability but after a few years he let it go down to nothing because he didn't want anything he didn't think he deserved. In 1969 when he had a massive heart attack, and had to retire medically from General Electric, his doctor wrote a letter to get the VF to reinstate his disability because the rheumatic fever had weakened his heart just as the Navy had said in 1946. Interestingly the heart murmur he had had since the attack of rheumatic fever disappeared when he had the massive heart attack.
I remember speaking to a dude with a slight limp. Said his knee got messed up in the Corps. It was a general discussion about the Corps and dude was very knowledgeable. Figured he damage his knee on deployment but no it was training week 9 at PI. The dude was 100% honest about it and that earned my respect.
I had a mate like that. Legit served in combat as an Army soldier and had life long head trauma. I thought it was from something that happened in combat, but nope, it was when he was on leave and got into a bar fight lol. He was fully honest about that. I joked and told him to lie and say he got hit by a tank to make a cool story :P
A Navy vet in my father's American Legion post lost his leg in a motorcycle accident about 20 years after his discharge. He's totally honest about the story & that his loss is unrelated to his service. His honesty earned my respect. I've seen him quickly bring it up when a stranger offers to pay for his meal or so. He's especially bombarded by people on Veteran's Day; thanking him for his alleged loss. After awhile, he just: stopped, nodded his head, & looked at the rest of the other veterans of the post.
@@Alex-xh9kv It is funny, because I have some friends they served they went places and did things. I was in the National Guard for 6 years. I was 11B and 12C. In 6 years I did stuff, went to drill, AT, etc. No combat, shot a lot of weapons, no deployment, I did go to North Dakota for 2 weeks for 12C MOS training, the mosquitos were real bad. Maybe some of it had to do with I went into OSUT at the start of the first Gulf war, it was over by the time we got done. I was in HHC 1st of the 169th Yankee Division, over a couple years they disbanded YD, we ended up in limbo, different units every month, then finally got sent to an engineering unit to build medium girder bridges. That was what I did.
Worked with a guy 'bout 30 yrs ago. He walked kinda funny but not really that bad. I noticed one day he had a DAV plate on his car. I asked him what was up with that and he said he was injured while in the service... marine I think. Turns out some other guys did some checking up on him as he was pushing his 'injury' on some of the real soldiers there. They found he was given a medical discharge and yes it was for his knee but the way he was injured was not how he claimed. Turns out he mouthed off to the wrong marine one day and got his ass... and knee kicked.. or blown out! So now the guy gets disability status and all that goes with it... and I know its been a long time but I think there was a purple heart on his plate too!
@@charleschristianson2730 it's so new people forget it exists when they're overshadowed by branches of service that have existed longer and I don't know what the space force numbers are.
@@gmoney9068 Not just that though, Space Force has been part of the Air Force for a much longer time before it became more independent. Contrary to what you read online, you can't simply apply for that at all. And no, I'm not talking UFO crap or space wars, I'm talking legit Air Force units (on earth, lol).
My dad had an employee that told huge tales like this and he kept him on for a while just to for everyone to hear the various crazy stories. The guy finally realized that he was caught and just stopped showing up.
I was accused once of stolen valor. I was a cop in the Air Force in the 80s and spent my whole enlistment in Nebraska. If I was gonna fake it, don't you think I would have made up something better than that?

The Stolen Valor Act of 2013 makes it a Federal crime for an individual to fraudulently hold oneself out to be a recipient of any of several specified military decorations or medals with the intent to obtain money, property, or other tangible benefit. It was enacted by the government to help protect real military heroes from phonies. It is a federal crime and subject to a fine, imprisonment for not more than one year, or both.
I heard that the Supreme Court said it was fine to lie about prior service. I disagree with them! But they will bust her on the fraud at least. That's a lot of money
@@ashleysanford8645 Here is what happened regarding the three Stolen Valor Acts with the two prior ones that were repealed. Below will also include what had happened previously with the Supreme court prior to the new Stolen Valor Act. President Obama signed into law in 2013 the latest version of the Stolen Valor Act, which makes it a federal crime for people to pass themselves off as war heroes by wearing medals they didn't rightfully earn. The legislation passed both houses of Congress with overwhelming majorities. An earlier version, passed in 2005, was struck down in June 2012 when the Supreme Court ruled that lying about military heroics was constitutionally protected speech unless there was intent to gain some benefit or something of value by fraud. The new law included a provision, making it illegal to make the claims with the intent to obtain money, property or other tangible benefits. Veterans organizations were quick to applaud Congress and the President for acting quickly on the amended version of the law. "I think this was necessary because people were using it to receive the benefits of decorations of valor, and they were getting monetary benefit from it," said John Stovall, director of national security and foreign relations for The American Legion. "That's why we supported the amended version, not to infringe on anyone's First Amendment rights but to protect the reputation and meaning of the decorations." The 2005 law made its way to the Supreme Court after a California man challenged his conviction and $5,000 fine for unlawfully claiming to be a Medal of Honor recipient. The court declared the law unconstitutional unless the fabricator intended to get something of value by making the claims. William "Bill" Hillar of Maryland spent years claiming to have been a Special Forces soldier with expertise in human trafficking and counter-terrorism. Colleges and universities paid him to teach classes, and law enforcement organizations paid to hear his presentations. But the charge that got Hillar sentenced to 21 months in federal prison was wire fraud, not the 2005 Stolen Valor Act. Among Hillar's claims was that he went on a one-man search for a daughter kidnapped and sold into slavery; the story was the basis for the Liam Neeson film "Taken. He was arrested finally in Jan. 2011 after his scam was exposed by veterans through the website ProfessionalSoldiers. The Stolen Valor Act of 2013 was introduced into the House by Rep. Joe Heck, R-Nev., who has said the awards, like the men and women who earned them, are worthy of respect. Other lawmakers shared Heck's sentiment. "I'm very happy the President signed the Stolen Valor Act," said Rep. Paul Cook, R-Calif., a retired Marine colonel. "The new law ensures that we protect and honor veterans and the sacrifices they've made. When people make false claims of military rank and heroism, it does a tremendous disservice not only to our vets, but to the public." Sarah claimed to have received a Bronze Medal and Purple Heart for her service, wore a so called miltary uniform adorned with medals among other things with the intention of obtaining money, property or other tangible benefits which she has done. So she committed a federal crime and there are penalties for that.
I'd like to point out that I was stationed with a Navy Corpsman who had been a Marine before. He was hit by a bullet, that didn't pierce his IBA. His leadership had him awarded the Purple Heart, and he flat out refused it. That's an honorable person to me.
I come from a very strong military family. Some of the stories passed down to me are almost as unbelievable as this lady’s. One for example is that my grandfather was a POW in Japan during WW2. However it can and has been confirmed. I wanted to join the air force, however I was hit by a car in my youth and suffered a spine injury. Aside from being illegal stolen valor is just wrong and disrespectful to those who served, as well as to the country for which they served. I have total respect for all military personnel regardless of their terms or branch. I thank each and everyone one of you.
This wasn't just playing pretend to get a few TYFYS (which a lot of active duty and vets, ironically, aren't all about) or even getting a discount. This was done with the express purpose of financial gain, and that's disgusting.
Funny how dumb and over the top these people are. You could say I drove a truck or repaired helicopters. Instead their entire family was force recon in Vietnam then became a general
as far as you saying some vets aren't about wanting something for free or what not i know some that that's the first thing out of their mouth, even if its something already super cheep. it drive me crazy to listen to him do that. I was in the navy , an national guard an it doesn't even cross my mind to be as much of a cheep ass as this guy, but he was an officer so they are kind of a bunch of turds,
@@metalbeast83 I said asking for a veteran's discount and actually profiting off a fake veteran status are two different things, and the latter is worse.

I was medically discharged after serving almost 20 years in the Army. I was seriously injured, while on duty, that left me severely disabled. Myself, my husband and our son, are all military Veterans. We all signed our names on the dotted line and proudly served our country. Our son is still serving with the Joint Task Force 2. It sickens and angers me sooooooo much to hear so many stories about stolen valour. So many men and women lay down their lives to serve their country and have worked so hard to have the privilege to stand proud in their uniforms. If you want the valour, then sign on that dotted line, do the training, shed some blood, sweat and SACRIFICE and fricken earn it!
Thank you for your service I idolize people like you. I'm a junior army Rotc cadet for Central high school Pueblo Colorado my dream, is to be a US army soldier . But I am terribly sorry to hear you were injured on duty
I agree with what was said in the video, i'm surprised she got away with it for as long as she did. I'm an army vet and having worked with Marines in the past, that jacked up salute would have immediately set off alarm bells. The other part that surprises me is no one asked for a benefits letter from the VA. They're easy enough to download from Ebenefits and i've been asked for them multiple times. The worst part is, cause of her actions, legitimate veterans will have to wait longer to get help they need pretty quickly.
People ask why we get so upset.. They don’t understand the blood sweat and sacrifice Marines make not only earning the title but also on the battle field. This girls unbelievable smh
90% of the Marine Corps dpnt deploy, 90% of those that do, dont see combat. #1 She dishonors those ladies who really did & really are serving. #2 From what I have read last week it's looking like she'll get a light sentence, under 5 years. #3 Considering ALL her transgressions, under 5 years is too little. "Who would make this sh"t up?" I seem to recall an Austrian born German saying that the 'bigger the lie, the more easier it's believed'... I hope this gets more news coverage so that current and future posers - whatever their motivation for it - are disuedued from it. On another note, I wonder if the DEA has audited her prescriptions since she created herself...?
Lmao. The EGA’s on her Dress Blues at 11:44 were facing outwards. Now it’s been over 20 years since I served and I still remember how to wear the uniform correctly.
Retired Marine here. My two cents: When you say "sexual assault" right away the questions and digging will stop out of respect. Like James said, she just laid it too thick with the BS and PH, and a sloppy salute would have raised red flags. Oh, and those EGAs on her uniform, the anchors are supposed to face inboard...I think I would have sensed this fraud right away.
The EGA's jumped at me as well. Hell I wasn't even aware the WMs had changed blues covers, I had to look that one up. When I received my Honorable in 84 they were a bit different. Semper Fi Warrior !
I thought I was the only one to notice the dragging anchors and right away. As a former SSgt. and a Viet Nam combat Marine,, I'm not sure what gets me most angry, her claim to be a combat veteran, or a Marine, or perhaps worst of all, a staff noncomissioned officer.
As a fellow Marine myself, and with my father as a former Marine, how does everyone really feel about this stolen valor? Do we feel like there should be something set in place to deal with/punish people like this? Honest opinions
I don't think that lying in and of itself should be illegal in any way, shape, or form. Now don't confuse that with fraud, which is what this girl committed and is illegal and should be prosecuted as such.
Stolen valor is most prevalent in countries whereby the citizenry give military servicemen and women God-like status, i.e. allowing them to get to the front of queues and receive heavy discounts on certain goods and services, as well as being treated with constant "thankyou for your service blah blah blah" everywhere they go, with easy access to used/surplus military uniforms a secondary but closely related reason for its prevalence in some countries (USA, I'm talking about you) and almost non-existence in other countries... For example, we have cases of stolen valor here in Australia, but it's barely a problem, mostly because 1) We don't recognise or treat current or former military volunteers as though they are gods, and 2) It's next to impossible to acquire military (ceremonial) uniform designs, medals or insignia... Sure, we give our returned servicemen and women a gold card that gets them discounts on certain goods and services, but unless they pull it out of their wallet or purse, you'd never ever ever know they were current or former military. They don't walk around the suburbs or return home from a posting still wearing their fatigues or ceremonial dress like Americans do...

I always wanted to serve. Failed hearing tests, and couldn't pass some "balance" part of MEPS. Years later it's apparently due to hereditary neurological problems...however, I couldn't imagine doing something like this. @@Maverickman67 I think stolen valor is morally reprehensible, but lying should never be a crime. What this girl did was fraud and should be prosecuted as such. You give the government too much power and it will never know when to stop, look no further for an example of a temporary government program being permanent as the FBI.
@@nerofl89 You definitely have a point there, but something definitely needs to be done about these people going around claiming to be something they are not, AND collecting taxpayers money for something they didn't work for and earn. That is theft in itself, and not to mention when you have family members that have died serving our country, and then you have people that have never worn a uniform , they are morally urinating all over that uniform. And the money that they are being fined for, like I said before it all goes to the VA. Also the government is going to do whatever the government wants to do, look at taxes that everybody pays every year, or every week on their paycheques, that was only supposed to be temporary to help with the war effort. When WW I was over, the taxes were supposed to be not collected by the government anymore. And you are right, because the government liked that money and they just kept collecting it. I realize I got a little off track there, but the government really irritates me when it comes to certain things.😁
@@Maverickman67 Like I said before treat them as they deserve. Lying is not, nor should it ever be, a crime in the US. Theft, fraud, etc. should be treated as it is, and no there shouldn't be any extra fines or anything attached. Stolen valor is extraordinarily reprehensible, those people should be mocked, shamed, and ostracized by society, but never give the government that power because it will not stop stolen valor. It will inevitably lead to lying about x, or y, or z, and it will be the government that judges who is lying, not fact/science/videos/etc., but bureaucrats sitting in an office that never have to face the people. That is how you begin a totalitarian state, making you no different than the Nazis, Fascists, or Communists.
Stupid people never learn. (At least the mistakes that give away people trying to steal valor will always be hilarious to people who know what to look for.)
Honestly, all female marines that I know are probably the most detailed marines that the corps has to offer. The fact that she does not know how to salute would probably be the biggest give away. I really don’t care much about people using military costumes but she took it to another level. She has some serious issues and used vulnerability to get what she wanted. She literally used up resources that other service members could had used. I know the VA needs some fixing but they actually take care of vets when is needed. This is completely horrid and I hope she gets that help.
Confidence or delusion? Maybe a little of both. It sounds like she was pushing for an alternate award tracking system or database that she could control. Then she could put her name on the list that she could use later to prove the legitimacy of her awards.
I say, if she's bragging about her family from a military background, does she have any pictures backing that up? I've got plenty of pictures with me and my war veteran family so, ask that question, too. ALOT of people will use "the military excuse" to get money and always, ALWAYS look at their eyes when you're asking people questions.
I remember hearing a story from a retired Marine Gunnery Sergent. A Korean War Vet. He ran into a young Marine out on leave in (I think) San Diego. The young Marine had a campaign ribbon on his jacket. He stopped the young Marine and told him he didn't earn that ribbon and to get it off his uniform now. The guy tried to tell the retired sergent that he was awarded the ribbon. Turns out the ribbon was a WWI Victory Medal the guy had bought in a surplus store and had no idea what it was! I have known people that can identify medals and ribbons all the way back to before the Civil War. I would suspect that most service men can recognize most military awards.
During the Florida court trial of George Zimmerman, FL vs Zimmerman ⚖ in the 2010s, a few of the Sanford FL detectives went to a Military surplus shop and added a few 🎖🏅🎗 to their police duds 🤨. The 1 Sanford investigator on the stand somehow was in the WW2 Liberation of the Philippines.
A lot of the awards listed in MCO P1020.34G doesnt seem to start before WW2 victory medals... It seems that much of it was added during the Cold War. Things like Kosovo Campaign, NATO article 5, Kuwait Liberation, UN/NATO.... if you have all the NATO medals from 1960s to present, your bottom stack will just be a lolifull line of blue 🤣🤣🤣

I think the answer to her "ordeal" is simple. She's a Sociopath of the highest degree. She doesn't understand or feel empathy, so she learned it from being around Veterans (And I'm guessing Cancer patients as well), and that's what makes her even more sinister in my eyes. i’ve watched hundreds of videos of stolen valor, fake seals, fake green berets etc and the one thing they all have in common, whether they served and embellished or never served is their unbelievable achievements, heroism, awards & commendations and combat stories. I come from a military family. Dad in Korea, both his brothers in ww2 and grandfather in the trenches and they hardly ever talked about or went into detail about the wars. My dad didn’t even talk to me much about it. Real vets don’t brag… that’s my opinion. I never served so i don’t know a whole lot of younger vets but the old timers wanted to forget more than anything
Anyone with any knowledge as a layman (even nonveterans) can tell "how full of it" the woman is. You see a picture of her ( I presume it's her) dressed in Marine Corps blues as a Staff Sergeant wearing medals 🏅 🤣 as opposed to the fruit salad 🥗 (service ribbons and devices related to their career). Medals are only worn on mess dress 👗 uniforms!
Thanks for posting this, JT. I watched AC before this video and man...did he lay into her, way more than the casual doofus pretenders you see on the street corner that you and he have talked about. And rightfully so given the psychopath depths to which she took this ruse. She's going to be in a world of legal hurt shortly.
I just don’t understand how someone could internally reason with doing this. I wouldn’t be able to handle the guilt faking being a service member to get a discount at cabelas let alone trying to scam multiple charitable organizations who are doing the best that they can do rehabilitating struggling veterans. My dad taught me that most people who have seen combat don't talk much about it. He was a Marine in Alpha 1/1 2nd platoon at the beginning of the tet offensive in Vietnam. He recently passed away. Crazy to think people would love to pretend to be my dead dad lol .
For someone to take the uniform and decorations of any military unit without being entitled to, that is about as low as you can get, absolutely vile individuals.
My father, myself, my ex-husband, our 2 sons, and our daughter have all honorably served in our beloved Corps and I was beyond disgusted when I watched her wearing our uniform. I cannot believe that she is a commander at her local VFW!!! To this day, I still have male Marines that try to trip me up with questions about the Corps because they question that I had served. By the way, I am old Corps and I still love being called a WM!

Exactly. It's a Humble honor.
He is my Hero too , brother!!!!! All veterans are 🇺🇸🙏🏼✝️❤️
It was said that my father fought in New Guinea during WW11.
Corps....Corps.....Corps. pronounced "Core".

I had a mate like that. Legit served in combat as an Army soldier and had life long head trauma.
At least the guy was up front about where he actually got the injury from.

Well, I think you'll be glad to hear that the Feds are indeed having a go at her.

"That's why we supported the amended version, not to infringe on anyone's First Amendment rights but to protect the reputation and meaning of the decorations."
The 2005 law made its way to the Supreme Court after a California man challenged his conviction and $5,000 fine for unlawfully claiming to be a Medal of Honor recipient.
When people make false claims of military rank and heroism, it does a tremendous disservice not only to our vets, but to the public."
Sarah claimed to have received a Bronze Medal and Purple Heart for her service, wore a so called miltary uniform adorned with medals among other things with the intention of obtaining money, property or other tangible benefits which she has done.

They need to be punished. Semper Fi from an old Marine Sgt...OUT
I don't think that lying in and of itself should be illegal in any way, shape, or form.
She needs to be dealt with. Son of a Marine who did 2 tours in Vietnam.
They need some kind of punishment or fined or even jail time as it’s wrong in what they are doing.

Remember kids most Military people had very boring jobs. Very very very few ELITE veterans who were "Recon" "Seals" "Special forces." Oh? For the record I was a plain old peacetime Navy Corpsman. My big "JOB" was I was the STD person and medical records, LOL. Did my 4! Got my Honorable. All peacetime! Lucky.
LOL Short Arm inspector. That was plain old mate.
We all supported our country. All my duty stations over six years in the USAF were like vacations, even the two years in the Azores archipelago where my daughter was born.
Biloxi, Sacramento, Azores, Terceira Island, Tampa.
After pointing the fire arm on her CO. she would be in CCF for a trial, and sent to Leavenworth to make big rocks into little rocks.
in her fever dream she shot him. its even more stupid.
I always wanted to serve. Failed hearing tests, and couldn't pass some "balance" part of MEPS. Years later it's apparently due to hereditary neurological problems...however, I couldn't imagine doing something like this.
My sons are in JROTC and many of the parents automatically assume I was in. I've had to set several straight on the truth.
Regardless I'm eternally grateful to all of those who HAVE served and wish that people in this "whackadoodle" world had some chill man, this is shameful.
I tried to join the army right out of high school, but a fractured knee ruined my chance, still regret it.
The duck walk of MEPS is a pain in the f'ing ass; even for those of us who aren't with knee or back problems.

"Ex-Marine Sniper" I worked with did not know what a Corpsman was or what a DD 214 is. Oh, he said he never needed a medic.

People are still trying to get away with this?!
It's sad isn't it? But I don't think it will ever end unless people start getting serious jail time. I believe the best punishment would be a $5000 fine and, every bit of that money goes to Veteran Affairs.
@@Maverickman67 I think stolen valor is morally reprehensible, but lying should never be a crime. What this girl did was fraud and should be prosecuted as such. You give the government too much power and it will never know when to stop, look no further for an example of a temporary government program being permanent as the FBI.
@@nerofl89
You definitely have a point there, but something definitely needs to be done about these people going around claiming to be something they are not, AND collecting taxpayers money for something they didn't work for and earn.
A movie needs to be made about this story. It’s a cautionary tale about claiming to be someone you are not.
She has a dd214 and she says they don’t keep track of metals? How did that interview keep going?
Confidence or delusion? Maybe a little of both. It sounds like she was pushing for an alternate award tracking system or database that she could control. Then she could put her name on the list that she could use later to prove the legitimacy of her awards.
As soon as I seen that uniform I knew something was off. No respecting Marine would screw up a uniform like she did.
Especially the EGA's facing the wrong direction on her lapels...
There's vets like me that feel ashamed for getting benefits through the VA and then there's people like her...

I was laughing when you called VA treatment a pain in the ass. It sure can be. The VA is hit or miss. I've had the best health care I could dream of at the Memphis VA and the worst at the Biloxi VA.
This was on inside edition last month. Great job exposing these crimes. I'm not a vet but come from a military family. These people are the absolute worse. Knowing my family has spilled its blood in every conflict since ww2 and she has the nerve to claim she served really gets mad. I didn't know my great grandfather had some of the highest medals the military issued from WW2 until after his death. None of my family that has seen combat ever talk about. They don't even talk about serving because they have true honor and humility. The only thing they ever say is "people who saw real combat will never tell you about it".
How Disgusting 🤢 WHY WOULD SHE THINK LEGIT SERVICEMEN AND WOMEN WOULD NOT FIGURE IT OUT!
These fake applications for aid make me specially angry when i know real vets are just straight up slowly dying with zero help from the VA. Nobody can go the extra mile to seek these lost people out and aid them, because they are too busy processing the scam artists on top of the easy cases.
The whole thing is absolutely bonkers! Suspicions were raised by a bunch of us women Marines in 2017 and it's crazy that when the suspicions were raised, nothing got done and it got this far out of hand.
It would be good to call her out, she lied her way to where she is, she decieved real soldiers, the crimes she committed needs to be resolved. 3 - USAA member it'll have their military info with service dates, status, rank & medals, under profile.
4 - ID ME Website
5 - Retired military ID
Never meant a veteran who didn't have something on them to prove otherwise. Or was offended when asked for creditials. I read the story online about Sarah Cavanaugh. I didn't see the (hilarious) picture of the salute until now, and I can tell Sarah hadn't even had so much as a semester of JROTC.
I think the answer to her "ordeal" is simple. She's a Sociopath of the highest degree. She doesn't understand or feel empathy, so she learned it from being around Veterans (And I'm guessing Cancer patients as well), and that's what makes her even more sinister in my eyes. She was learning how to get people to feel sorry for her and not question her story simply by watching actual combat veterans going through the real deal (and of course learning how the paperwork operates). I hope she likes prison food
Just heard about this by Angry this morning but I’m happy to hear your take on this
She was certainly "ALWAYS FAITHFUL" in an all out lie and being a complete phony!
As soon as I saw her in uniform her lapel emblems were anchor outboard. Big tell.
These stolen valor people should be sentenced to 1 mandatory deployment to Ukraine.
Bootcamp is appropriate and will “send” the message
Then they would just come back with stories about how they took out ivan with a crossbow
With everything the folks in the military go through and put up with, people that commit this type of fraud should be criminally charged.
The ‘Fox Nation’ soft flex sealed the deal for another well-earned thumbs-up, JT.
This USAF medic has been receiving excellent care from the VA for nearly 40 years. One thing that's always bothered me having been in the Army 6 years. "Saluting" anyone who has served in any branch of the military, knows how to salute. Stand at attention.
Exactly!!! EVERY service member knows the proper way to render a hand salute, regardless of branch!! It's all part of what they teach in basic training/recruit training!
Pulling the weapon on a friendly unit (and maybe friendly fire by purpose) isnt just rank demote, its a fucking military court with direct discharge & penalty (jail in most cases)

i’ve watched hundreds of videos of stolen valor, fake seals, fake green berets etc and the one thing they all have in common, whether they served and embellished or never served is their unbelievable achievements, heroism, awards & commendations and combat stories.
