who the fuck wants a pet giraffe? assuming "free" includes the cost of food, care and medicine, that's still an insane commitment you're making - you'll probably have to move, meaning leaving your job, friends and family, you won't be able to pursue education or career goals (outside of owning a giraffe), if you want a partner you'll have to make sure they're okay with the giraffe (definitely harder than it seems) and you'll spend all your time caring for this giraffe anyway unless you hire other people to help out at which point you may as well just volunteer at a nature reserve, which would be better in every way, plus their giraffes won't be evil

For those who don't know, In the last episode of mlp fim "The last problem" at the end of the episode, there's a time skip, and there at one point: Pinkie rushes into the room saying that she's sorry she's late and that it was hard for her to find a baby sitter who could handle "Lil Cheese", who then rushes into the room right next to their mom. Lil cheese is the child of pinkie pie and cheese sandwich (Weird al's character) and this not only evident in the way they look (sharing pinkie's hair and having a light yellow body similar to cheese's golden brown) and how they have Boneless, Cheese sandwich's rubber chicken with them in that same scene, but also with their bio in the mlp Gameloft game: "This future filly will have inherited twice the chaotic party energy of any average pony...which is honestly a little intimidating, but EXTREMELY charming."

You’d actually probably be fine in the Pokémon world. In Crystal, Lance USES hyper beam on a person, and it’s like “oh crap he dead” but no, in Pokémon Masters you can talk to that same guy, and although he DOES have ptsd from it, he’s still alive and actually a black belt, so didn’t end up with any lasting injuries. So, getting hit by hyper beam is probably the equivalent of, idk, The Rock punching you in the head. It’d knock you out sure, but probably wouldn’t be too bad.
I'm like 90% sure people in the pokemon world are just pokemon themselves with absurdly high bulk stats. Of course, whether a person from our world that's transported there is like that is a different matter lol

I do think Salty’s biggest weakness in this game is his cockiness. I feel like that’s what keeps him being a relatively average competitive/items player, every time he does alright he acts like he’s invincible. He’s like the real life Pit: mid tier with an Icarus complex

my friend recently had a dream where him and some other friends were at a school where weird al was a teacher (everyone called him al sensei. the school was american) and they were trying to come up with a plot to kill him. at one point, in a bid to get information from him, my friend put up with have conversations with him in the bathroom while al sensei was shitting. i think another really funny thing is the fact that the dream felt like it lasted three real-world weeks and he lived every second of it. anyways, it ended with al sensei learning their plan and running terrifyingly fast towards my friend, and the last thing he remembered before waking up was the feeling of dread knowing that like, a wild animal is going to catch you and kill you

The thing about being smart not automatically meaning you're successful is so true. Like I've known so many incredibly intelligent people in my life who have been screwed over and taken advantage of every step of the way just because they weren't high enough up in the pecking order
I mean it's absolutely true no matter what economic system you live in (aside from a meritocracy but even that has a chance to be corrupted). Smarts don't guarantee success by themselves, but they can lead to success if you're smart about what you do. A bit confusing I know but I'm unsure of a better way to describe it.
Tesla for example was smart, however, lacked the business sense to actively make success for himself. Edison on the other hand wasn't to any discernable degree smarter than Tesla, but because he was much more skilled in the business side of things that lead him to success.

Some people just aren't business minded or don't have the personality to deal with the pressures and harsh realities of running a business which is incredibly involved and requires a lot of different moving parts including advertising and funding and so much fucken paperwork. Some people are autistic and can't deal with people. It's not as simple as "you're smart you can figure it out"

i would absolutely press the button i mean imagine the mindfucking you could do. imagine someone seeing you walk in one direction then you go behind something(like a door or something) then you suddenly just APPEAR walking in the same direction they'd be so confused or like imagine you're upstairs and someone else is upstairs then they go downstairs and they just see you there inexplicably.

What, your target hides in bunker? Get as close to it as you can, and then jump inside. They locked you in jail? Jump 50 meters outside! Punks wanna beat you up? Run behind the corner and jump inside nearby apartment block, they will never find you! Bus closed it's doors right before you? Poof, it doesn't matter! You're falling from the 20th floor? Congrats, now you may have severe fatigue, but you survived it nonetheless!
Seriously, this ability is OP even with restrictions, think about it more like short jumps, not running fatigue

The teleportation one, technically if you teleport close enough infront of you to where it wouldn’t make you tired, you could move at insane speeds
That would assume your strength reset after every teleport, because you would be slowly but surely losing energy.
