You would need to find a happy balance of divisions before the simulation. Then, you could always Press "3" on your keyboard to see what it looks like in smooth preview mode.
When I try to export I get this error: The plug-in does not support the following material types: Material will be exported as a grey Lambert material. Any way to fix it?
Im curious. Will this work on a fully rigged human model. Im an animator and am using a body rig made by someone else. But the problem is that its naked. I know for animation studies working with a naked model is normal. But portfolio wise and youtube wise. I need a way to show off my animating skills without being banned.
if it's not working for someone make sure that your scene is not in meters but in centimeters !! i was stuck for 2 hours before realizing that my scene was in meters :/
This is right on the point, no intro, no unnecessary talking. Awesome!
Thanks! I hate videos stalling to the 8 minute mark so they can add more ads
You're clearly and steadily going straight to the point with a good energy and voice. Happy to have landed on your channel.
Thanks! I appreciate the feedback
The speed of this is so funny but it’s very helpful thank you ❤️🔥
I’m glad you found it useful
Thank you for this really clear and concise video!!
Absolutely!! Thanks for watching
thanks for the to the point and clear tutorial
OMG, that was supper easy, thank you!
Glad it helped!
IF IT DOESNT WORK FOR ANYONE!- make sure you have the "cached playback toggle" button on (the three dots on the bottom right side)
i'd say the film logo to the right of "continuous loop" button. Thank you, I was wondering what was the problem
I have it on but it still doesn't work for me
Thank you !
thank you!!! well explained and easy to follow!
Absolutely! I hope you make many awesome projects with it
you're my favorite channel now lol.
Yes!!!!! 🏆🏆🏆
Amazing thanks so much for this toturial.
You are so welcome!
thank youuu ! Just a quick question, what does pressing 3 at 1:43 ?
3 is smooth preview. You can bounce between 1 and 3 if you wish. If you watch again, before I press 3 the cloth looks very faceted.
love you man
Amazing!
Muy bueno !!!!como se exporta a fvx?

Ok the cloth is falling but I can´t move it back and forth like you do. Any idea why?
Dude! Thank you so much! I saw cloth simulation in blender and was wondering if there was an option for it on maya
Oh yeah. Have fun with it.
I see no red bar after creating passive collider and I can´t get the result you do for the rest of the tutorial. Any idea what the problem could be?
how u fixed it?
Can you make a video on how to create a paper being blown by wind please 🥺🥺🥺
I'll see what I can do!

Thank you for the tutorial, is there any way to optimize the model to have less vertices without making it lose it's realistic shape?

Tutorial for creating rain using n particles would be good
. n particles video would not be a problem just the rendering in Arnold... I'll think on it
Ok fixed it by creating a cache. I wonder if it does that automatically for you?

Yes. It might not be the most elegant solution bu It will work with a rig. I would animate my character first, then add the sim last
Love it no mansplaining like most videos straight to the point subscribed👍
thanks a lot
