Good to see your progress and development with your desigins. Just suggestions here.. If you're making more designs with that pump action, the large finger-lugs previously used for drawing back the slings are kinda reduntant. Maybe reduce them a little so the pump slide can still grab them but they look a little less stuck out. Also, the exposed channels for the lugs look a little out of place. Perhaps another layer of metal covering all that inner workings? Maybe one that goes over the pump slide, but still allows the wooden grip section to move freely? Finally a pistol grip style forgrip incorporated into the wooden pump grip would probably give you more leverage, making it faster and slicker to operate. Great work dude

There is probably a market for wooden guns since they don't have powder and no actual explosion they aren't considered guns. If a person designed them right and made them efficient it would be a way to protect yourself and home if you've lost your gun privileges. Even if lethal from a short distance would still be helpful and more so a deturant from harm.
@@MatthewOliver-n9c In the UK this falls under the constricts of the Firearms Act 1968. Section 57(1B) defines a "lethal barrelled weapon" as a "barrelled weapon of any description from which a shot, bullet or other missile can be discharged".
There really isn't any market for something like this. You're better off with a tyre iron, a golf club, or a baseball or cricket bat than this thing... which would still be illegal under the weapon restriction laws in some areas. Always check your local laws! Moreover, using an improvised weapon like this in a self-defense encounter will get you sent to prison, because the DA will be able to spin it as malicious intent on your part--you _intended_ to inflict serious harm on another human being, which is why you created that improvised spring gun when you could have simply 'called the police', heh. Never forget that the prosecutor in a self-defense case has one job, and that job isn't keeping the public safe or upholding justice. It's to convince the court to send the person in the jury box to jail or prison. If you're really worried about home defense a good set of motion-activated exterior lights and deadbolt locks will be far more useful than something like this. Criminals pick easy targets, so unless someone is personally out to kill you, they are less likely to choose to invade a house that they'll likely be caught whilst doing so. Similarly, home invasions by random strangers are quite rare. If the bad guys are there to steal, they don't want to deal with the residents.

The problem comes out to if you decide to SELL a firearm that you made, it MUST have a serial number or some other maker's mark and you have to have a license to make the sale or have a licensed business conduct the sale on your behalf in which case you do not make nearly as much money
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂👍
Impressive. Sou can patent that, find an investor, and have it mass produced. It would sell.
Right🙏

Thanks my friend🙏
Ingenious, powerful, homemade, thanks for sharing

Artista ❤
Thanks🙏🙏🙏
Beautifully handcrafted, but a waste of time for something illegal. Better get your paperwork and buy a gun for a real defense.
Thanks
Are the part file or drawings for the plans available somewhere?

Very nice! But it's so much work that it is easier, simpler, and not too expensive just to go out an buy an air gun or bb gun that folds (vs. the CO2 cartridges).
Thanks🙏
if you secure the pushing mechanism on a gas powered framing gun you can have a machine gun.
Thanks
Wow sangat bagus 👍👍
Terimakasih bang🙏🙏🙏
Nice, but wht not just buy a hi power air rifle/pistol?
Pretty soon you wont be able to buy a cap gun
True@@Dusty136
@@Dusty136 The only firearms still not under gov. control is black powder. I used to fo Revolutionary War reenacctments and had many muskets and flintlock rifles.
Now, 1 flint squirrel rifle, 2 pellet rifles, and a Henry repeating lever action..
The Henry, though not semi auto holds 17-20 rounds and I can get off 1 shot per second.
@japonaliya hell ya those are cool! I knew a dude named Dean hesterman, he was all about those civil war reenactments
@@Dusty136 Yes back in the 80s early 90s was quite big both Rev. War and Civil.
Now not so much except in battleground states..
Ci vorrebbero tutte le misure, sennò è solo un bel video ❤
Thanks🙏

Be careful the ATF will try and regulate and tax this weapon if not entirely ban it.
Thanks
Abolish the the letter “agency.”
As they should. Or do you want to get robbed by losers who point home made weapons in your eye?
BIG THANK from France !!

The raw wood parts won't last. Spend $25 and get an hawaiian sling.
And, it's a huge public disservice to let people think this is a real Home Defense Weapon!
Thanks for watching
