Invite him places. The "rules" are patriarchal nonsense and since I can assume you're a feminist, I think you'd want to do away with that sort of thinking. There are no "rules." In nature, sexual selection is manifested in sexual dimorphism. Sometimes females have extravagant appearances; sometimes it's the males. In either case, it's to attract a mate. Even nature gives no fucks about these "rules." You can text first. Pass it down. :)
